Police in Germany have gone the extra mile when it comes to enforcing social distancing measures, with officers seen using giant 1.5 metre rulers during a Covid protest in Frankfurt.
Bizarre video footage shows police officers scanning a crowd of protesters demonstrating against the government's Covid restrictions in the city while holding red and white measuring sticks.
One police officer can be seen approaching protesters and measuring whether they are 1.5 metres apart with the giant ruler on Saturday night. (Snip)Frankfurt Police Department have previously told the public that they would be using the rulers to check compliance with social distancing rules.

1.5 meters is “only” approx 5 feet. In the US proper distancing is 6 feet. Begs the question does COVID virus fly further in the US? Do Germans spit further? Are German police maintain proper distance while measuring proper distancing? So many questions! Someone please ask Dr. Mengele.

It has been noted by news articles that the "6 foot rule" was created out of thin air by some unnamned federal employee and the so-called rule has no basis in science. However the South Park character "Eric Cartman" took it to heart as he walked around carrying a wooden pole (about 2 inches x 2 inches x 6 feet) with a small flag attached to the business end that read "6FT." He used to push people away from him, saying "6FT!, 6FT!."

#5, good catch. Eric Cartman is my hero, because he is so crazy.
He set up a crack baby league to show how ridiculous the NCAA was, in not paying athletes but profiting off of them.
And when the Washington Redskins lost their trademark, he set up a Washington Redskins consulting company.
And when South Park banned KFC as unhealthy, Eric Cartman started selling KFC illegally, like a drug dealer.
You have to love him.
But his best stunt was to put a ribbon in his hair, declare he was a girl, in order to get his own bathroom.

There was never any science behind the 6 foot rule. A guy from the CDC admitted that. They pulled the number out of their... uh... the air.
When I used to get an annual bug, I had a sit down with a REAL doc who explained to me that virusses are everywhere. The difference between you getting one and staying healthy is your overall resistance to the bugs. Take your vitamins, esp D. Rest. Exercise. Eat well. Avoid stress. Staying locked down without exercise while overeating is a formula for getting and passing it around to other lock-down-ees.
And by all means, get outside in the sun. Without the doggone face diaper.

Oh, and, how nice to be able to say what I just said without getting Face Book 'Fact check' label and a warning from the independent 'fach Tcheckers.'

Meine Damen und Herren...
A rule is only as vital as it's source. If the source is tyrannical, call it what it is: a 'Decree'. Decrees have no mandate from the people, only the peevish wantonness of the supposed Ruler. Decrees are meant to be opposed by ANY free people.

I, for one, don't have a big problem when the historically war mongering country turns into a nation full of pansies.
