Waukesha, Wis. — For her whole life, 67-year-old Sharon Millard was so shy she used to ask her identical twin sister to go on dates in her place in high school. But ever since Nov. 21, when Darrell Brooks allegedly plowed into dozens of people at the Waukesha Christmas parade, killing six people, including an 8-year-old boy, and injuring up to 60 others, Millard has felt compelled to speak about the atrocity she witnessed. One of the people killed was Millard’s fellow “Dancing Granny” — 79-year-old Virginia “Ginny” Sorenson (Snip) He drove the car in a “zig-zag motion” so as to “strike and hurt as many people as possible”

Don't worry good people of Waukesha - Dr. Jill and 2nd Husband - what's his name will come and comfort you, get a few photo ops then leave. They would send Joe, but flying between time zones in really not his thing.

You don't see Biden rushing up to Waukesha to opine and politicize the issue following the mass murder attack on the Christmas Parade by a Black criminal racist do you? That's obviously because there is no resemblance of any sort of "White Supremist" in sight!

They don't need the Swamp and their exploiting of tragedies. They should know that the nation is supporting them in this time of need. The media and DC can just stay away.

FTA: ~~ "One of the people killed was Millard’s fellow “Dancing Granny” — 79-year-old Virginia “Ginny” Sorenson — who was tossed up in the air like a rag doll by Brooks’s SUV, police say. “No one ever saw him coming,” Millard told The Post. “He was going so fast. All I knew is I saw Ginny fly up in the air and land in front of me. I saw her curled up and blood was coming out of her like a river. I was standing in blood.”~~ Doesn't fit the narrative....sickening.

One thing for sure - Joey and his weaponized DOJ/FBI is ignoring Waukesha. They can't wait to let a deranged killer get the upper hand by having a prosecutor let him off the hook. After all. crime must be supported at all costs.

Waukesha is not Big City USA. Waukesha County is far from "liberal". Its DA is a Scott Walker appointee. She was strongly endorsed by her predecessors, both "conservative Republicans." So let's not start with the prosecutor letting Brooks off the hook stuff. It doesn't apparently fit. I expect there will be the usual change of venue demands - biased community and too few people of color for the jury. I almost expect it to be granted. Nonetheless, this struck a nerve in all Wisconsinites. Sympathy over race will not be a factor. His defense will be his mental illness...what else is there? Sadly, Wisconsin has no death penalty, abolished long ago.

About 100 CTA drivers marched from City Hall to Millennium Park Saturday, temporarily shutting down the corner of Michigan Avenue and Washington Street as they demanded the city increase protections for public transit workers — including by giving them their own police force. (Snip) The demonstration came a week after a driver was beaten at the same Loop intersection and hospitalized. In September, a driver was shot in the jaw when he asked a passenger to step off the bus at the end of another downtown route. The union’s primary demand is that the CTA get their own police force, similar to Metra’s, Hill said.

Everyone’s understandably focused today on how Cheney embarrassed Trump Jr and the Fox News gang by reading their texts to Trump on January 6. Ed has a nice write-up about it here. But don’t miss the forest for the trees. The point Cheney was making isn’t that Fox News hosts are hypocrites, although they are. The point is that the president’s own family and allies were pleading with him while the riot was unfolding to do something, yet he did nothing — for hours. Everyone around him treated it like an emergency. Not him. Was that a crime? Watch the end of this clip, starting at around 3:00.

The outcome of Dobbs could have direct implications on Roe. In an interview published Sunday with the San Francisco Chronicle, Harris said that efforts for SCOTUS to curtail abortion could result in women dying, adding that she’s not “alarmist” or “extreme” by suggesting that. “I don’t mean to sound alarmist, I mean this: Women will die,” Harris said in the interview.
