The alliance of mainstream Democrats with communism is becoming obvious. I am so old that I can remember when embracing the Communist Party was a political death sentence. But Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-natch) Connecticut, already notorious for his stolen valor in claiming to have served in Vietnam, was not shy about becoming the “surprise guest” when The Connecticut People’s World Committee presented its annual Amistad Awards on Saturday to mark the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party USA, with awards being presented to Sen. The events of the past five or six years have demonstrated to America that the FBI is no longer the unbiased law enforcement agency it once was. (snip) There are only two options: rehabilitate the FBI, or eliminate it. The current state is unacceptable in a functioning constitutional republic.(snip) The DoJ has not only failed to provide course correction to the FBI, it has arguably contributed to the problems. The rebuilding of the FBI should be overseen by a board chartered with the mission of rehabilitation, and staffed with people who care about integrity and understand what a well-functioning police organization should look like.

The other day, in an interview with NBC News, Hillary Clinton went public with a warning -- or was it a dog whistle to Democrats and the left? It might be an instance of Hillary’s mouth running ahead of her brain, but don’t count on it. Hillary is a coldly calculating woman -- and that might be one of her better qualities.
Hillary suggested that if Trump or “someone of his ilk” is elected president in 2024, then American democracy is kaput. Foolishness? Knowing the conceits and delusions that infect her intended audience, her suggestion might not seem ludicrous.
The accepted wisdom amongst conservatives is that Joe Biden is a demented buffoon who is under the control of a leftist cabal in the White House, the individual members of which are unknown. However, Don Surber, who is one of the conservative blogosphere’s most astute political writers, has a different theory. He thinks that Biden is a savvy political operative as evidenced by a successful political career that has spanned almost 50 years. (snip) "Voters and pundits misread Biden. Speaking in Wilmington, Delaware on Saturday, President Joe Biden blamed the recent deadly tornado outbreak in Kentucky on “climate change.” Biden stated, “The fact is we all know everything is more intense when the climate is warming and obviously it has some impact here.”
Biden’s statement is laughably inept and easily disproved. All one has to do is look past the opinions, pronouncements, and hand waving and concentrate on what science and data actually say about the issues.
