The White House's Desperation on the Economy
Devolves Into Complete Absurdity

Original Article

Objectively, the news on the economy over the last few weeks has not been encouraging. November’s jobs report showed a miss of over 50%. Then yesterday’s inflation numbers dropped like a thermonuclear weapon on the White House’s narrative. After a week of colluding with the media and waging a PR war to try to convince people the economy is actually great, inflation was revealed to be 6.8%, the highest in 39 years. Naturally, the polling has shown significant disapproval with the situation, whether we are talking about Joe Biden personally or the right-track/wrong-track numbers.

Comments:

Deny, deny, deny until you can't. Maybe when Slow Joe's approval hits 25% they'll own up to reality, in the meantime we get this.

They can blame the rona all they want, but they're the ones putting out the messaging on that too, and it's nothing but, mandates and dire warnings. By nature I think Americans are hopeful and optimistic, but they're beating us over the head with doom and gloom.

Neither Customers nor the virus sets prices. I believe some businesses are overcharging and attempting to recover lost revenue but you can't blame them if their businesses are going under and I have no idea what their current costs are. No way I'm going to pay 11% markup on a new car, I'll bicycle first. Yesterday, I was surprised in the other direction. I made a rare call into Pizza Hut and fully expected to pay around $20 for the pizza, which I had done some thirty years ago. It was $10.60.

The jobs that are being refilled now are mostly all jobs that existed during the Trump era, Biden has not created any new jobs. In contrast with all the subterfuge coming from the White House regarding the economy, it is evident that the leftists and socialist Democrats who are actually running the White House show these days would be happy if inflationary pressures make a lot more people dependent upon government welfare largess, after-all that is the leftist and socialist Democrat basic political mantra.

Stop at the grocery at least once a week. Not necessarily for heavy duty shopping just bread, milk, salad mix, you know what I mean. Not loading up on meat or other more expensive items. What use to cost $70 or so is now $100. That's basically an additional $120 a month and that's not counting how much more I spend on those big grocery trips. Luckily I do not have far to drive to work so I can actually fill up once a month but it's twice what I paid a year ago. So people who are filling up once or twice a week are screwed. FJB don lemon can hit all the high notes he wants. We are not buying what the msm is selling.

Just wait until the middle of the winter when the grossly inflated heating oil, natural gas, and propane bills start rolling into American homes all over the country! Biden has not seen anything yet, once that complaining starts. Americans are getting a taste of inflation now every time they refuel their automobiles and trucks along with going to the grocery store. Around here the day Trump left office the gasoline prices were about $1.49 a gallon for regular gas. Now the price is about $3.49 a gallon. It will be a hard sell for Biden and his crew to get away with blaming Trump for those raising energy prices that are occurring during Biden’s watch that are bound to adversely effect most of the US economy. Unless you are a complete moron, or are wholly dependent upon government at all levels for social welfare payments to survive, you should be able to figure out that Biden and his crew make up a failed Presidency that is a threat to US national security.

Not unlike Mark Twain, Joe Biden is known for his stories — for real; not a joke. And on Tuesday, the Leader of the Free World regaled gathered fans with a tale of criminal comeuppance. As it turns out, long ago in Wilmington, Delaware, a group of gangs had a penchant for mayhem. But Joe saw to it that their spree was nipped in the bud. The future Commander-in-Chief clobbered crime with that most effective of weapons, a phone number. While speaking in Wilkes-Barres, Pennsylvania, he spun his campfire yarn: “I remember…on the East Side in Wilmington, in one of those old Victorian…three-story apartment buildings.

The stunning reversals by formerly reliable leftist celebrities have been stunning, but also logical. Comedian and talk show host Bill Maher continues to advocate for socialist-style economic governance, but his commitment to classical liberalism has resulted in his speaking out in favor of science in his opposition to the transgender insanity from fellow leftwingers, and his embrace of the free exchange of ideas drives his rejection of cancel culture. When attempting to rank or evaluate something or someone, context is everything. For instance, if we want to proclaim that a professional baseball player is an exceptional first baseman, we must first establish context. Are we comparing that player only to other first baseman playing today, in which case the bar is lower than it might otherwise be? Or are we comparing to him every first baseman who has ever played the game, in which case the great Lou Gehrig is indisputably the gold standard? Context is critical. So too does context affect one’s effort in trying to establish the qualifications of a country.

An archbishop in the Church of England said the opening of the “Lord’s Prayer” is considered “problematic” to some people because the 2,000-year-old prayer starts by addressing God as “Our Father.” Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell told the General Synod, the legislating and ruling body of the Church of England, that referring to God as “father” might be offensive to some people because of the negative connotations of patriarchy. “I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” Cottrell said,

Major legal rulings that dismantled the use of race in college admissions, undermined protections for LGBTQ people and tossed out President Joe Biden’s student debt relief program marked the end of a Supreme Court term in which the conservative supermajority continued to exert its dominance. The majority also doubled down on a controversial legal theory that limits the power of federal agencies to take unilateral action. Meanwhile, the justices rejected a far-fetched argument that would have limited the role of state courts in election disputes and turned away an aggressive attempt to challenge Biden administration immigration policy – both areas in which lawyers on the right might have overreached in their arguments.

Moments after bowing at least three times, Yellen then stumbled over He's name, calling him 'Vice Premier Hu.' Both Washington and Beijing said the meetings during her four-day trip were fruitful, although the visit - designed to help smooth a rocky relationship - did not generate any concrete agreements.
