Rosie O’Donnell Reminds America Why

Ask yourself a simple question. We all know who Rosie O’Donnell is, considering she’s been a fairly prominent celebrity for almost four decades. But examine the logic behind her celebrity status and ask yourself: Why? Why is Ms. O’Donnell famous at all? At one point in the 1980s, O’Donnell had a modest career as a comedian, but we dare you to come up with one memorable, laughable joke or bit that she performed. She had her own talk show for a few years, and then famously played the role of the most-left host of the insufferable program known as The View, but again, aside from perhaps a few antagonistic

Comments:

Had the author not written about her, who would have known she said anything. She's a twit that has been written off by most long ago. So, forget her and her nonsense. How did she become a celebrity? Anyone can be a celebrity. With few exceptions, one does something "outrageous" and then tries to keep the foolishness in the public eye. Read any of those popular magazines...what has any of "those people" done to make them worthwhile famous? The American public today is fixated on publicity and publicity hounds. How 'bout that Omarosa chick?

No shooting war required. The Republic of Texas approaches. Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, S Dakota, N Dakota, Montana, Alberta (Canada), Saskatchewan (Canada), Manitoba (Canada), and a few states along the sides. Let's go EAST. Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida. We have every shipping port in The Gulf of Mexico and half the Atlantic and more oil than the Saudis ever dreamed of. California and New York can print their own money. If they want to trade they can use Panama. We WILL protect our borders ,north, south, east, and west. If you're coming to visit Texas bring your US passport with the pre-approved visitor's visa.

Let me know when the new Republic of Texas begins forming. Ain't gonna happen. Go tell the people of Kileen that the Army is closing Fort Hood and their jobs/local economy...Tell NASA to get out of the Houston area...Fort Sam...shut it down. Unless one thinks Texas will raise revenue sufficient to support an army and a space program, not to mention replacing all the US Federal dollars that flow in. And then there will be reparations to the US for the improvements abandoned by US government agencies. Go ahead...Texit!!

The last time I remember hearing about Rosie O'Donnell was at a Presidential Debate before the 2016 election: Megyn Kelly said that many people had said he'd used insulting words talking about women. Trump said that no, he didn't. Then thought a second and said "Except Rosie O'Donnell". It was a big joke at our house. My youngest kid thought her first name was "Except".

Maybe CNN actually is making its way back to authentic journalism after all. In a recent report, the news outlet debunked a lie coming from Democrats regarding Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s decision to transport illegal immigrants to New York City and Washington, D.C. Previously, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser and New York City Mayor Eric Adams claimed that Abbott was bussing illegals to these cities against their will. She said many of these individuals had no idea where they were headed. Abbott’s office denied the allegations, noting that they obtain the written consent of those being transported out of the state.

In another women’s sport, another biological male competes with women. As we saw with Lia Thomas, the transgender who dominated in women’s swimming but lost badly in men’s swimming, and as we saw with Laurel Hubbard, the transgender who competed in the women’s Olympic weight lifting competition. Hubbard lost, but the media turned it into a “historic” achievement because Hubbard became the first transgender to compete in the Olympics. Hubbard won the University of Otago “sportswoman of the year award.” Thomas was nominated for NCAA “Woman of the Year.”

The USA is on the edge of bankruptcy which might not be a bad thing. All because Woodrow Wilson, the Puritan could not keep his zipper up. Were his nights of passion worth the destruction of our country? The lawyer Samuel Untermeyer was able to use blackmail to heavily influence Wilson and thereby the course of the US and world history on behalf of Jacob Schiff and Paul Warburg, the Wall Street bankers. They had lent money to Britain for World War One. By buying British war bonds for their own banks and the Federal Reserve

The irony has been remarkable from the moment the Brittney Griner Saga began in February. Griner, the multimillionaire professional women’s basketball player who became phenomenally wealthy in America, showed complete disdain for her homeland when she was living here. She refused to even enter sporting arenas until after our National Anthem was played. Griner, who is both black and lesbian, objected to the imaginary systemic racism that Democrats and their media fed her. She was vocal in her defiance and suggested that we shouldn’t even be playing the National Anthem before sporting events.

For instance, Sen. When attempting to rank or evaluate something or someone, context is everything. For instance, if we want to proclaim that a professional baseball player is an exceptional first baseman, we must first establish context. Are we comparing that player only to other first baseman playing today, in which case the bar is lower than it might otherwise be? Or are we comparing to him every first baseman who has ever played the game, in which case the great Lou Gehrig is indisputably the gold standard? Context is critical. So too does context affect one’s effort in trying to establish the qualifications of a country.

Eric Adams, New York City’s new Democratic mayor, had an extraordinarily low bar to clear when it came to being perceived as an improvement compared to his predecessor. Adams succeeded the far-left groundhog murderer Bill DeBlasio who, for reasons that are still unclear, decided to run for president and couldn’t get his polling numbers out of the single digits in his own city. DeBlasio was a disaster. He virtue-signaled at every opportunity while simultaneously destroying the fabric of underprivileged communities. Along with Governor Andrew Cuomo, DeBlasio oversaw the single worst response to the COVID pandemic by both allowing the highest number of per capita virus-related deaths and obliterating his city’s economy.

Governors in states along our southern border have been vocal in their concerns regarding illegal immigration for years. Their school and health care systems can’t handle the additional workload, they explained. The financial burden placed on their taxpayers was excessive and unfair, they shouted. And the fact that such migrants were entering their states unvetted posed a serious threat to the health and security of their communities, they complained. But government officials elsewhere in the country, particularly in our federal government and in blue cities such as New York and Washington D.C., dismissed the pleas from governors such as Greg Abbott in Texas and Doug Ducey in Arizona.

An op-ed in the Washington Post has argued that men in women’s sports could actually be a good thing for young girls by teaching them the art of losing gracefully. According to Alyssa Rosenberg, the aim of school athletics is not to teach children the art of achieving excellence but rather to build character, and what better way to build character in a teenage girl than having her experience the frustration of losing that championship title to a biological male? Her argument largely hinges on the unicorn of “sports-crazed parents” who will theoretically use transgender athletes in women’s sports as an excuse in the event their daughter loses.
