A leading US conservation group, the Audubon Naturalist Society (ANS), has announced it will change its name, due to the âpainâ caused by the 19th-century ornithologist and slaveholder John James Audubon. The group, which holds wildlife sanctuaries across Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland, said that it had become clear its name did not connect to its diverse set of programmes and that some members and volunteers had objected. âThe mission and vision of the organisation have not changed,â said Lisa Alexander, executive director of ANS. âThe deliberate and thoughtful decision to change our name is part of our ongoing commitment

For four continuous years, Alec Baldwin maliciously caricatured President Trump in numerous âcomedyâ sketches on Saturday Night Live.
The cycle worked as follows:
The âbrainsâ in Washington contrived a scandal or outrage for that week, often related to the phony Russian Collusion narrative that loomed over Trumpâs 4-year term. The figurative rifles were fired resting on the shoulders of shady lawyers, porn stars, dismissed or disgruntled personnel, anonymous âinsidersâ and âleakersâ.

Going back to the 2020 presidential campaign, right-leaning media has been well ahead of the curve in asking serious questions about President Joe Bidenâs mental health. As his presidential term has aged, things have only gotten worse, with numerous scenes of confusion and anger taking place.
Just days ago, the president appeared to forget where he was, having to be saved by his wife (see Jill Biden Steps in to Save a Confused, Meandering Joe Biden). Other examples include Biden seemingly unable to control his anger at times, including with the families of slain soldiers. Past that, odd word salads and bumbling speeches

A self-proclaimed non-binary lawmaker in Oklahoma blasted Gov. Kevin Stitt for his remarks asserting there are only two genders and that âthere is no such thing as non-binary sex.â
Democratic State Rep. Mauree Turner claimed it was difficult to have a working relationship with someone like Stitt who opposes âyour existence.â
âIf you have to work with people who adamantly oppose your existence, right, to the point to where we canât work together, you canât talk to me, you canât talk to me like Iâm a human being, you donât see me, that damages anyoneâs working relationship,â the first Oklahoma lawmaker to identify as non-binary told Fox25.

To great public fanfare, Joe Biden has anointed Rachel Levine a âfour-star admiralâ in the Public Health Service (PHS). The public relations campaign in support of Levine has emphasized his status as the first transgender four-star âadmiralâ in the âeight U.S. uniformed services.â That PR campaign is misleading, and it is part of a dangerous effort to undermine the military.(snip) This roll-out and publicity barrage leave little doubt that Levineâs primary qualification for his instant promotion is his transgender status. Whatâs worse, it will damage U.S. military recruitment and morale, thus damaging U.S. national security.

President Biden, just hours after taking the oath of office on Jan. 20, ordered all federal agencies to examine their policies and deliver a report within 200 days outlining any âstructural racismâ they found. Nine months later, more than two months past Mr. Bidenâs deadline, the White House wonât say how many reports it has received or what information it has found. But a survey by The Washington Times of a dozen departments and agencies revealed widespread concerns about the government shortchanging people of color, including in farm aid, visits to national parks and the disbursement of unemployment benefits. The presidentâs order gave agencies until Jan. 20 to recommend ways

Check your privilege, especially if you used your right hand to open this article. That's according to a presentation at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill that has gone viral. Using one's right hand as the primary mode of grappling objects "makes life easier" and gives one more "opportunity" and "advantage," according to the presentation. It also said being right-handed apparently makes one have a sounder "sense of belonging" in the world. The lecture took place Monday, Newsweek reported . It has garnered more than 2,600 "likes" on a popular Twitter account. (Tweet) The presentation was part of training

Welp, guess whoâs in trouble with lawmakers, again? Make that still.
Yup, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the emerging and infectious diseases âexpertâ has been implicated in a series of taxpayer-funded, animal-testing experiments. Beagle puppies, that is. This time, a bipartisan group of lawmakers is demanding answers. According to the White Coat Waste Project (a watch group committed to stopping taxpayer-funded experiments on dogs, monkeys, cats, and other animals), as reported by Daily Caller, 44 beagles were used in the experiments conducted in a Tunisia, North Africa, laboratory. Some of the dogs reportedly had their vocal cords removed, allegedly so scientists could work without incessant barking.

Evil is a very strong word, when used properly. Merriam-Webster defines it many ways, the most relevant to what Iâm talking about being âmorally reprehensibleâ and âarising from actual or imputed bad character or conduct.â That is the modern left, the âprogressive movement,â the âDemocraticâ Party. And to fight evil, to stop it, is the most important thing anyone can do.What justifies the use of âevilâ as a descriptor? Itâs a dangerous word to use, one that has been abused throughout history to demonize innocent people as well as condemn the guilty. But there is no other word for what these people are doing, both in tactic and objective.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday that coronavirus vaccines could be made available for 5- to 11-year-olds early next month. During an appearance on ABCâs âThis Week,â Dr. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said the Food and Drug Administration and its advisory committee are set to meet Oct. 26 to consider an application from Pfizer and BioNtech to start the rollout of the childrenâs vaccine. A regulatory decision could be handed to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention the following week. âSo If all goes well, and we get the regulatory approval and recommendation from CDC, it is entirely possible if not

Scientists are working to create a vaccine that could combat of all types of coronaviruses in an effort to potentially prevent the next pandemic. The La Jolla Institute for Immunology, in San Diego, California, has received a $2.6 million grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases to work on their ambitious project to potentially prevent future pandemics. Researchers believe they could build on the research and development used to create the current crop of COVID-19 vaccines to prevent other similar viruses.(Snip)'Rather than having to constantly launch new vaccines⌠we need a single vaccine that's going to protect against SARS-CoV-2 variants and whatever
