The Alec Baldwin Conundrum

Original Article

Alec Baldwin got to play his dream role last week, and unfortunately for an innocent woman, it was a method-acting version of Ted Kennedy. Now, you note that I am mocking a guy whose probable gross negligence killed a lady and maimed a man, and this raises an important question – do we really want to live in a world where our reaction to a tragedy caused by an enemy is not sorrow and compassion but mockery? It doesn’t matter what we want. We do live in such a world, in large part due to the likes of Alec Baldwin.

I see no conundrum whatsoever here; nor do I see the need for a 5000 word treatise on the subject. Baldwin is a loud-mouthed puke well known for vilifying responsible gun owners for decades for little more than choosing to own a gun. He has made millions slinging the guns he hates in all manner of make believe, while excoriating me for doing nothing worse than exercising my 2A rights. Now, the loud-mouthed putz has killed someone due to HIS own actions, failure to follow gun safety rules, and his general lousy attitude towards all whom he sees as beneath his munificence. He can rot in Hell.

My first reaction WAS sympathy for the odious Mr Baldwin, but as info on on his improper negligence comes out (and I do not yet wholeheartedly believe a word of info coming out) I am given pause. In which case I would give comment #1 multiple clicks. Like hundreds of clicks. A standing ovation of clicks.

as a fervent disliker (if there is such a word) of this windbag but I am not confident that he will face the books of justice for this killing of one and wounding of another. we have to remember that we live in a Caste System and he is in the category of those not sanctioned for anything they do, including murder. the trial, if there ever is one, will be interesting to watch.

Alec Baldwin acts and lives in a make-believe and unreal world. Now he has experienced part of the real world the rest of us live in. Three rules scream out here: Never assume a gun is unloaded, check a gun when you pick it up, and NEVER point a gun at a person you do not want to shoot. Another important point here is that several people handled this loaded gun before Baldwin shot it. All broke the rules of gun safety. They all share culpability.

He was playing with a gun and pulled the trigger. He was making a movie which was obviously using guns to shoot people. This was to be sold to the public as entertainment, The shooter was Alex Baldwin who has been known to criticize police for truly accidentally killing people in the line of duty. It's Karma Baby!!!!

The Left demonstrates no capacity to create anything of value, but great facility at destroying a lot that is good. At some point the Left decided they cannot coexist with me. That was their decision. I will now act consistent with being the last man standing as a result of that decision. Moreover, their wholesale abandonment of Enlightenment values has made it pointless to demonstrate superior morality in the battle. Their entire moral framework is binary furtherance of sexually licentious, social democracy. They have no means to even recognize or appreciate my superior morality. Why waste it on them? In my view, dealing with the Left is like dealing with a Grizzly Bear. It is my intention to do everything in my power to make sure not only that I survive, but that the Bear perishes, as well. Because neither has the interest nor capacity to reform. They have chosen to exclude peaceful co-existence as an option. Okay, then. Let's get on with it.

Apologies for the second post, but it needs to be said: We didn't win the war of ideas with the Nazis. We won the war. I would much prefer to convince anyone that we should all just get along. But once they decide that's not an acceptable outcome, my moral threshhold gets very low.

"..the new rules of gladiatorial combat in the cultural coliseum.", Is rhetorical GOLD. I for one will not go quietly into that dark night, too much a "Gentleman " to fight back. Baldwin isn't really much of an "Actor", the parts that made him famous is just him playing "Him"..a smarmy, selfish, selfcentered, short tempered, obnoxious, greedy, NYC, elitist azz(The only movie I do not turn off immediately upon seeing his Face is "The Edge"). He does have ONE brother that is conservative, at least occasionally. waaaaay back during the Bill Clinton, Democrat campaigns of the early 90's Fundraiser and campaign events often used the "There will be BALDWINS!" line to drum up enthusiasm and donation/ticket sales.

Well, to those who question whether Baldwin will ever serve time in jail for his actions, we need to remember the celebrities who spent months in prison for bribing college officials to get their brats into good schools. And don't forget Martha Stewart who was imprisoned for insider stock trading. If these people were punished for crimes that didn't hurt anyone, Baldwin should not get off because he actually murdered someone and injured another person, even though it was by accident it was because of his negligence.

I don't see any possibility of him beating this rap. I think that even his friends know this and are quietly cutting him out. I don't even think the Biden's would sell him a painting, at any price. Wouldn't it be fun to see President Trump do an impersonation of Alec directing a maximum security prison drama workshop. But then there's that life he erased. This is a time for mean tweets. Baldwin is a despicable person, who not only pulled the trigger, slaughtering an innocent, but due to his managerial position, and the cheap, mean spiritedness he brought to it, backstopped his own culpability by chasing away competent support staff, and bringing on unqualified but cheap replacements. So when he asks "who gave me a loaded gun?" the answer is: you, cheapskate. Hoist on his own Petard. Retard on a Petard?

Gov. Ron DeSantis on Oct. 21 called for a special legislative session to consider measures to counter vaccine and mask mandates. The move follows a series of COVID-19 vaccine mandates imposed by the administration of President Joe Biden. That doesn’t sit well with the Florida governor, who has “had enough” of federal interference into state business, press secretary Christina Pushaw told The Epoch Times. The legislative proposals include the provision of reemployment assistance to people who are fired due to failure to comply with an employer’s vaccine mandate. Under another proposal, Floridians who have an adverse reaction to a vaccine would be eligible for workers’ compensation.

With civic guidance and political leadership absent on the heels of multiple national crises, the entire country is now roiled in an era of massive civilian disobedience campaigns as thousands of American workers seek protection from President Biden’s flawed vaccine dictates. If you listen to Biden’s recent incoherent statement on vaccine mandates or you are an incurable aficionado of what used to be called mainstream media, you may think there is reason to believe that a formal Presidential Executive Order mandating national Covid vaccinations had been issued. As with many Democratic initiatives, the truth and reality of Biden’s September 9th announcement are frequently at odds.
