Alec Baldwin is merely getting a taste
of his own medicine

Original Article

For four continuous years, Alec Baldwin maliciously caricatured President Trump in numerous ‘comedy’ sketches on Saturday Night Live. The cycle worked as follows: The ‘brains’ in Washington contrived a scandal or outrage for that week, often related to the phony Russian Collusion narrative that loomed over Trump’s 4-year term. The figurative rifles were fired resting on the shoulders of shady lawyers, porn stars, dismissed or disgruntled personnel, anonymous ‘insiders’ and ‘leakers’.

Comments:

"As ye sow, so shall ye reap." Feel sympathy and sorrow for the young woman’s family and friends and for the person who’s recovering. Also sympathy for the folks on the production crew whose jobs may potentially be at stake. Alec Baldwin…trying hard not to feel schadenfreude. It is not a circumstance I would ever wish to be repeated and happen to anyone else regardless. Baldwin will have his own conscience to wrestle with for the rest of his breathing days.

My prayers go out to the person killed and the person injured by this arrogant, sanctimonious windbag. My prayer for Baldwin is that he learn from this highly regrettable event to stop being an arrogant, sanctimonious windbag ...but he won't, so I hope that he gets everything that he deserves.

After reading this I have to agree. In the beginning I felt, as much as can’t stomach Baldwin, I felt somewhat sympathetic. I guess the saying, What goes around, comes around fit in this situation. He DOES deserve the comments that are said about him and hope, but doubtful, that he receives the punishment he deserves. Bottom line, no matter how we feel or what happens to him, a son lost his mother and a husband his wife. So very sad

And now a little boy is without his mom. A husband is without his wife. Ah yes, but Alec Baldwin is filled with remorse. His arrogance through the years brought him to this point. Hollywood in all of the grandeur has produced a lot of elitists, arrogant jerks, and the list goes on. Alec Baldwin is one of them and because he refused to be educated on gun safety, he points a gun somewhere it shouldn't have even been pointed. It was reckless and would be considered manslaughter. I doubt because of his celebrity status he will never suffer through jail time. It is bittersweet as I am certain that Alec Baldwin cheered the fate of George Zimmerman, Derek Chauvin, or any police or security officer. It is the police officers who have to respond to the undesirable circumstances every day because people don't know how to act. Arrogance gets in the way of civility.

Alex Baldwin, perennially loaded to the gills with ideological hatred of anyone to his political right, has always been unwatchable in his "Trump" routine on SNL because the skits weren't remotely funny. To work properly, comedy has to be based on a kernel of truth. Baldwin's "Trump" routines were so over the top it made one yearn for the days of Dana Carvey and Darrel Hammond, neither of whom hated the characters he was spoofing. My late best friend was on a six-star Crystal Cruise two decades ago, and sat down at a blackjack table with Alex Baldwin, who for some reason preferred splitting pairs of face cards, lowering his odds each time he did it. My friend found this good for a laugh, and persisted in calling Baldwin "Alex" (which he hated). A couple of grand poorer after blowing some easy hands, Alex got up from the table in a huff, not even bothering to tip the dealer. My friend, who also ate dinner with O.J. Simpson (who was eating a steak) said that O.J. was a much nicer person that Alex. Let's go, Brandon!

What went through his mind to point that gun at her and pull the trigger? I don't care if he didn't think it was loaded, that is something you don't ever do. She wasn't an actress so it couldn't be part of shooting a scene. It takes a world class jerk to point a gun at someone and pull the trigger even thinking it's unloaded.

Let me clear something up in the article it mentions 'the gun misfired' no it fired with a live round in it not a blank to penetrate one person and strike another is not a blank. It was also poor firearm handling on Baldwin's part also being that he is 'firearm ignorant' he's paying the price for his ignorance. He made fun of the NRA it's members and staff often accusing every gun owner of being a murderer just what he is now. The nasty piece of work, Baldwin, should expect no quarter from the many people he hated on. It's sad someone lost their life and some were injured by Baldwin the blowhard jerk. He felt nothing for President Trump when he was piling on so now he should receive the same.

Baldwin has been attacking our gun rights under the 2nd Amendment for a long time because it's what his fellow leftards do and it makes him feel superior. If any of us responsible gun owners had been playing that movie part, that woman would still be alive today because we would not have been that stupid. We do not cling to guns as the leftards preach, we respect them for the power they gives us against our enemies - foreign and domestic. Right now the domestic is a far bigger threat than the foreign and it's people like Baldwin who fan the flames of communism in this country because they are stupid about that too. Hang him and Let's Go Brandon.

This article speaks volumes, however, this paragraph is incorrect - "Alec Baldwin is now in a position of inconceivable peril after fatally shooting a young woman and seriously injuring a man when the prop gun on his film set misfired". This was a real handgun, not a prop. Seeing how this woman's death occurred in a blue state, we'll soon see whether Baldwin is rewarded with a slap on the wrist or at most probation.

There is much to this story remaining to be told. Baldwin was more than the lead actor in this movie. He was also a producer--he was one of those managing the business of making the movie. A week earlier, the union workers on the set of the movie complained that they were working 13-hour days with little rest. Moreover, the producers, who rented expensive hotel rooms in nearby Santa Fe for themselves and the actors, insisted the set workers stay in cheaper hotels 50 miles away in Albuquerque, thereby imposing on the weary workers an additional unpaid one-hour drive both before and after their daily 13-hour shifts. When the union workers' complaint of these "unsafe" conditions was ignored, they walked off the set. This may not have been the only basis for their claim of "unsafe working conditions" on this movie set. The producers then hired untrained and inexperienced "scabs" to undertake the duties previously performed by the union workers. This included the duties of armorer, the person who manages all dangerous guns and other weaponry. A few articles have claimed that other guns "misfired" twice the day previous to the shooting and death of the cinematographer. No one yet knows whether Baldwin's gun was misloaded inadvertently by an untrained scab armorer or intentionally by a union worker seeking to embarrass or threaten the movie producers. Either way, the cinematographer's husband and child will be paid handsomely by the movie's insurer for the loss of their wife and mother. And the filming and post-filming production of the movie will never be completed, resulting in considerable additional losses, likely covered by insurance. Baldwin's career is thus in a deep hole, which he is unlikely ever to climb out of. The movie-making business is often cruelly unforgiving.

I was young once. Hopalong Cassidy was my hero! I received the two holster belt with two "six shooter" cap guns. I could swirl those guns around my finger and put them back into the holster in one movement. My Dad, said to me, as I put the holster and gun belt on, "Don't you EVER point those guns at a person, and especially a policeman!" I was six yrs old. NO ONE will ever convince me that baldwin is so stupid as to point a gun at a person, even if he was joking and playing around. Fake gun, loaded or unloaded. He knew what he was doing. He will get off. the person who will be charged is the person who gave him the gun. baldwin will be a victim. (Had a Hoppy lunch box too!)

I haven't seen any details about the gun. While a semi-automatic pistol could have a hair trigger and be cocked by a previous firing, my understanding was that this film was an old western that would use revolvers exclusively. And if they were authentic, they were single action. A double action pistol would pull the hammer back and release it to fire the weapon with a trigger pull. A single action, like they had in the old west, would have to be cocked before you could fire it by pulling the trigger. How 'authentic' were the weapons at use here? Single action? Revolvers? You can see the bullets by looking at the cylinder with a revolver. I see no details in ANY of the stories. And, cocking and pulling the trigger, two separate acts, could hardly be accidental.

This is a strange event but I guess we will eventually get the details...caliber, make, etc. Not all guns were single-action revolvers as double-action guns were being produced. Doc Holliday carried a Colt 'self-cocker' most likely a Colt Lightning which was double-action...draw it and pull the trigger. No cocking of the hammer is needed.

New Mexico state law: "Involuntary manslaughter consists of manslaughter committed in the commission of an unlawful act not amounting to felony, or in the commission of a lawful act which might produce death in an unlawful manner or without due caution and circumspection. Whoever commits involuntary manslaughter is guilty of a fourth degree felony." It's pretty straightforward...one person died and another was injured by Baldwin's lack of "due caution and circumspection." The story I heard from the media was that he was upset by being required to retake a scene...and said someone deserved to be shot as he pulled the trigger. Some joke by Mr. Big.

Researchers believe they could build on the research and development used to create the current crop of COVID-19 vaccines to prevent other similar viruses.(Snip)'Rather than having to constantly launch new vaccines… we need a single vaccine that's going to protect against SARS-CoV-2 variants and whatever

Alec Baldwin got to play his dream role last week, and unfortunately for an innocent woman, it was a method-acting version of Ted Kennedy. Now, you note that I am mocking a guy whose probable gross negligence killed a lady and maimed a man, and this raises an important question – do we really want to live in a world where our reaction to a tragedy caused by an enemy is not sorrow and compassion but mockery? It doesn’t matter what we want. We do live in such a world, in large part due to the likes of Alec Baldwin.

President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better agenda, rife with welfare spending and tax hikes on American workers, is facing a critical nine days, in which the White House is hoping for a legislative victory to push Democrat gubernatorial candidates in New Jersey and Virginia over the finish line. “The next nine days are the most important of Biden’s young presidency: He needs to rescue his legislative agenda in Congress, [and] rescue his party’s political candidates in two states,” Politico Playbook wrote Monday. Within the next nine days, Biden will go across the country to promote the largest welfare package since Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society legislation and

This morning, Rolling Stone published a story claiming a major bombshell regarding January 6th. Specifically, the headline reads “Exclusive: Jan. 6 Protest Organizers Say They Participated in ‘Dozens’ of Planning Meetings With Members of Congress and White House Staff.” It was written by Hunter Walker, one of the far-left hatchet men over at that outlet, and is clearly meant to stoke the conspiracy theory that Republican congressional members helped plan an “insurrection.” That, of course, set social media on fire, and those predisposed to believe such nonsense ran with it. (Tweet)So, is this a big revelation if confirmed? The answer is a definitive no, and

I wrote previously about the offensive remarks that Barack Obama made while he was campaigning for Terry McAuliffe in Virginia. Among those remarks were ones attacking the concerns that parents have had in Virginia about what is happening in the schools and what is being taught. “We don’t have time to be wasted on these phony trumped-up culture wars, this fake outrage, the right-wing media’s pedals to juice their ratings.” He accused Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin of avoiding “serious problems that affect serious people,” and suggested that outrage over the actions of school boards is unjustified. So, someone want to apprise Mr. Pen and Phone

U.S. Border Patrol plans to fire agents who don’t receive the COVID-19 vaccine. According to reports on Friday, the agency is looking to enforce Joe Biden’s federal vaccine mandate by the end of November. They said those who refuse to do so without an approved religious or medical exemption could face action up to termination. Critics have said this would only further complicate the crisis at the southern border, where over 1.5 million illegal immigrants have crossed in 2021 alone. Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs (R) said he believes as many as 5,000 agents could separate from Border Patrol over the issue.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen says the high inflation in consumer prices that is stretching pocketbooks thin will spill over into 2022 before slowing down the second half of next year. Ms. Yellen said Sunday that monthly rates of inflation have already fallen this year, but added that the “inflation rate will remain high into next year because of what has already happened.” “But I expect improvement by the middle to end of next year,” she said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”(Snip)Former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers sounded the alarm last week, saying that monetary policy makers in the United States and across the globe are too focused on social
