Monica Lewinsky says that her thoughts of suicide during the Clinton investigation led her to ask independent counsel Ken Starr's legal team what would happen if she died — and now, years later, she is shocked that no one considered seemed concerned enough to do anything about it. The 48-year-old discussed the toll that the investigation and the subsequent public shaming took on her mental health in a new episode of David Axelrod's CNN podcast 'The Axe Files,' describing the aftermath of her affair with then-President Bill Clinton as a 'tumultuous' time that had her thinking about ending her life.

Comments:

I have no sympathy for this narcissist - she was an adult who should have known right from wrong by age 22. I also seriously doubt her "pain," since she relentlessly picks the scab by seeking the limelight at every opportunity.

Sorry Monica, you lost your chance to make money back then... why not sue your personal Doctor for not doing the same for you? Why not sue the Clintons and their paid wolves for what they did to you in the press?

Turns out that presidential egg roll Monica was swallowing in the oval office did not come with a good fortune cookie. Guess she learned that hard way that when you lay down with horn dogs you get up with fleas. Ain't that right Willie? Deal with the consequences of your bad adult decision Monica, just like the rest of us do who learn from our mistakes, who don't whine and try to cast ourselves as a victim, but pick ourselves up and get on with being a better person.

Honey, you were a little slut who fooled around with a man you knew was married. Yes, he was a sleazebag too, but that doesn't change your voluntary culpability in this case. Nobody owed you anything!!!!! You are a "victim" of your own life choices. When you, all these years later, made a nice paycheck for assisting with a movie about your affair, you lost any "poor poor pity me" points!!!

Monica has never gone beyond the emotional maturity of a junior high school girl. She refuses to take responsibility for her own actions and expects others to rescue her from the situations she gets herself into. Don't forget she filed a false affidavit in a court proceeding, which is a criminal offense.

You all need to be better behaved about Monica. She was young and star struck and made stupid mistakes. Tell me that you all were perfect at that age. I certainly wasn't. I was having pre-marital sex with guys/men who just used me because I had a pretty face and a knock out body. If young females do not have the support, which they desperately need, to stay chaste until they meet a loving, giving, honest, God-fearing, male in whom they can trust, and make a commitment before God to become husband and wife, we're going to have a lot of females committing suicide, becoming alcoholics, becoming drug abusers because this premarital sexual guilt is toxic and it stays in the female psyche for the rest of their lives! Trust me! I have it! It needs to be addressed and talked about by everyone! Look at the Gabby Potito story, too! If she wasn't sleeping with that piece of she-ite, she would not have made that cross-country trip with him, and she'd be alive.

I'm no fan of Hillary but how about if Monica considers what she owes in support of Hillary's mental health, as she Monica took center stage and did all she could to weaken a bond Hillary invested her life in? Monica owes. Monica is not the victim, Hillary is. Hillary is Monica's victim. Monica needs to not invent new types of debt owed her because she owes a primordial one.

Monica, don't be so whiney. Give yourself a little credit. A president of the United States chose you over his obnoxious, alcoholic, lesbian wife, whom the democrat media once hailed as the "smartest woman in the world." Many young starlets dream of becoming famous. You achieved worldwide notoriety before reaching 23. You made history and will be remembered forever. Decades hence, many will forget who George Floyd was, but they'll know what a "Lewinsky" is.

Frustration over the mostly feckless national Republican Party is nothing new. Those of us on the political right have few electoral options given our two-party system. In some elections, the choice is stark and easy, as when Reagan or Trump were at the top of the ticket. Other years saw names like McCain or Romney on the ticket and many of us held our noses voting Republican only because it was the better of two lousy choices. The leftist agenda moves forward regardless of who is elected, at the presidential or congressional level, the only difference being the speed of decline.
