Lt. Col. Scheller Rejects Trump Support:
‘I Don’t Need or Want Your Help’

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 10/4/2021 12:28:44 AM

Prior to MAGA Trump supporters raising more than $2 million to help with his legal costs, Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller publicly denounced help from the former president and his son, saying he would “rather sit in jail” than accept their support. (Snip) Prior to his arrest, Scheller issued a lengthy post on Facebook in which he criticized various political and military figures, including former President Trump and Gen. Michael Flynn: President Trump. I was told by everyone to kiss the ring because of your following and power. I refuse. While I respect your foreign policy positions, I hate how you divided the country. I don’t need or want your help.

President Trump did not divide this country. He exposed those who did. He brought whole boatloads of folks together that had never participated in the political process before. He united people from all walks of life, and gave us a voice we never had before. A polite no thanks would have sufficed, but you had to be an a$$. Pity.

That guy is a very strange bird to be a USMC field grade officer. If all were like him, the USMC chain of command would be non-existent with everyone doing their own thing. That won’t work. Trump should steer clear and let the system work in this case as Scheller caused his own problems.

#9 - I did read the whole article and I still agree with all the above posters. After getting blow-back he backtracked...a little...but still labeled PDT as not honest, accountable nor has integrity. "No, President Trump didn’t divide the country. But President Trump, in my humble opinion, is incapable of bringing us back together. Did he expose the corruption in the DOJ, media, and other places… yes. Was he the right person to expose the corruption at that time… maybe. Is he honest, accountable, and full of integrity… no. Would I want to work for a leader like that… no. I want a leader that will bring US together. Someone who has the courage to defend our country when called." President Trump is the most honest and accountable man to reside in the White House in over a century. He has more integrity in his little finger than the Lt. Col. As to someone who has the courage to defend our country when called, Donald Trump answered a Call heard only in his heart to Make America Great Again; a Call that required a much greater sacrifice than sitting in the brig full of self-righteousness.

Thank you, #14, for defending President Trump. Character has a way of showing itself, both good and bad. This guy just put his honor or lack of it under the spotlight. I don’t wish him harm, but neither do I wish him well. Anyone in this climate who is as dishonest as this guy when it comes to who the bad guys are, bring nothing to the table but more dishonesty and division. Probably shouldn’t say this, but just between us, his dad and mom came off as just a bubble off. During the interview with Steve Hilton, the dad really emphasized the public funding of 2 million dollars. He was very gracious, but something about his demeanor was off putting. I would have been trying to discuss my son’s imprisonment as my first priority, but that’s just me. The dad and son share the same personality trait, both are very opinionated and come off with a decidedly contrarian bent. Scheller hurt himself with his comments and his dad did him no favor either. While I vehemently oppose his incarceration, I am deeply disappointed in his remarks and I would bet I am not alone.

It's his opinion, though, so he can live with the consequences of it and his actions. Maybe the guy was just completely fed up with the lack of accountability from the top of command like he said. Looks to me like he must have voted for Biden. He certainly didn't vote for Trump. How he can turn against the very people who raised 2 Million dollars to get him out of Jail says a lot about him. So, retract the offer and let him sit in Jail until Biden gets him out. That may or may not happen since Biden probably didn't know he went to Jail in the first place. Chances are the Generals decided he should be jailed and they probably will let him rot there! Obviously he's okay with that!

I read the entire article. First he goes after Trump, then he thinks he clarifies them only to make him sound mushy. If the man has an opinion and stands with it, that is America, however if he goes this way, then that way and thinks the USA needs a perfect leader, there isn't one! Nobody will be perfect for everyone. We need a President that Loves our Country, loves our way of life, doesn't think the Gov't needs to control people, values Liberty, Justice and Freedom. Personally, I will cut him some slack, being in the brig can't be easy, but he needs to learn don't bite the hand that is trying to free you.

At the end of WWII, my father had risen through the ranks to become a Major. 102nd Ozarks, artillary. Because of his training in law he was tapped to help with the Nuremberg trials. He investigated nazi factory camps. When his term was completed, they wanted tobtransfer him to the pacific under Douglas MacArthur, and offered him his colonel's wings and a promise of political positions once the war was over. My father chose not to. 1. He knew MacArthur and thought he was a vainglorious fool, worse than Patton, and with less than half the ability. 2. He'd been dealing with high rank officers the entire time he was over there. They were mostly positions gained by money and supported by Democrats - often ranking Klan members back home. People like Eisenhower and Bradley were the exception back then. I could tell you lots of stories where my dad temporarily transfered a man of color, who had behaved bravely, even when seriously wounded, to other units, so they could be awarded the decorations they deserved. The generals didnt like the idea of black heroes. I'm not saying Scheller is one of those b**s, but i suspect from his words that he is fearful of supporting a righteous man. When someone in the spotlight starts offering opinions that are the result of medias constant propaganda, it is pitiful. Does not matter if it is some very stupid actor or this guy. Stick to what you know, which was the criminal behavior of military commanders. Topics like what President Trump did to the culture or who should lead the country and how they should behave in order to do that, are subjects far too nuanced for a soundbite article in a media that hates traditions that made the USA great.

Trump did not divide the country as the corrupt Democrats of all political species were doing that long before Trump was elected President. The Democrats were on the offensive making all sorts of bogus claims against Trump from the day he was elected to sabotage his presidency and are still doing that. To date the Democrats have been found to have been always wrong with their false claims against Trump, and by their current actions are showing that they are scared to death that Trump will run again in 2024 and be re-elected President with a wimpy Republican controlled Congress behind him.

"A person’s right under the Constitution to choose to obtain an abortion prior to fetal viability is well established. Fully aware that depriving its citizens of this right by direct state action would be flagrantly unconstitutional, the State contrived an unprecedented and transparent statutory scheme to do just that," U.S. District Judge Robert Pittman, of the Western District of Texas, Austin Division, wrote in a 113-page ruling.

Thirty-two percent of Independents approve of Biden while 60% disapprove. Four percent of Republicans approve, 94% disapprove. Still, 80% of Democrats approve of the president's job overall and 10% disapprove.

The Biden administration has sought to portray its botched Afghanistan withdrawal as a success, citing the evacuation of over 124,000 people in 16 days. However, the harrowing first few days of the evacuation showed how little advance planning there was as the Taliban closed in on the capital. Fox News’ Tucker Carlson offered up more evidence on Tuesday to support the argument that “Replacement Theory” is a real strategy of the Democratic party. On the network’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” he began the segment by saying, “We made the point a lot on this show because it’s true that the entire purpose of the Democratic Party’s immigration policy is to change the population of the United States in a way that guarantees they win every election going forward.”“This is effectively electorate packing. It’s an assault on democracy. It devalues your vote,” he asserted. He described the peculiar but now all-too-common tactic of the Left

When is a protester “angry and justified” and when are they a “domestic terrorist”? It all depends on how far left they are. This week, activists stalked Sen. Krysten Simena into a women’s restroom at Arizona State University, where the senator teaches a class. Angry that she won’t vote for the Democrat’s unprecedented $3.5 trillion reconciliation mega-bill, the protesters filmed her walking into a bathroom stall. The same liberal commentators and politicians who were wringing their hands over “civility” in politics under Donald Trump suddenly had an array of justifications.President Joe Biden said “it happens to everybody . . .

European and UK gas prices surged on Wednesday by more than 25 percent, energised by soaring demand before the northern hemisphere winter.Europe’s reference Dutch TTF gas price jumped to 145.19 euros per megawatt hour and UK prices soared to 347.27 pence per therm. The two markets had already rocketed in earlier deals to record peaks at 162.12 euros and 407.82 pence, respectively. “It’s panic and fear with winter just around the corner,” Commerzbank analyst Carsten Fritsch told AFP.Runaway gas prices — coupled with oil that this week struck multi-year highs — have fuelled global concern over spiking inflation.

'Children are the world's most valuable resource,' said President John F. Kennedy, 'and its best hope for the future.'He was absolutely right.A society is only as good as the children it nurtures, educates and prepares for adulthood.A society is also only as good as the protection it affords children. And the most important people at the heart of all this childcare are parents.I've got no time for mothers and fathers who don't care about their kids. For me, they're the lowest of the low.If you don't want to care for your children, then don't have them.

Three glistening new buildings in downtown Seattle with 165 studio apartments — originally to be rented at market rates — will instead house the homeless. The Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) is buying the buildings with taxpayer dollars for about $50 million, with federal COVID-19 relief funds splitting the cost equally. Seattle City Hall is contributing about $25 million, while also using “American Rescue Plan Act” funds. A large portion comes from Washington State’s Department of Commerce. Left-wing Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, so unpopular she can’t run for re-election, claims the deals will house people quickly and cheaply, compared to the time and cost required to develop similar projects from scratch.

After the patron saint of restricting Americans’ freedoms suggested we might need to cancel Christmas, I suppose this shouldn’t come as all that much of a surprise. The CDC is announcing today that they are recommending that Americans celebrate Thanksgiving virtually again this year. You probably don’t need me to tell you that this is one turkey of an idea that Joe Biden isn’t going to be able to make fly. But the new guidelines have all sorts of unpleasant nuggets built into them for any of you dangerous people who still insist on carving up the turkey with your family. Oh, and you have to scroll

U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Holly, said she was “embarrassed” by the profane message as she sat next to the president, who pointed out the signs as they passed by the rally.

Have we ever had a president who in mere months made so many dumb, intemperate decisions, thereby precipitating major crises? You’d think that the Afghanistan and border fiascos would suffice for one four-year term. But the smart money is that we haven’t seen the last of Biden-manufactured crises. Biden is a nightmare version of Pig-Pen of the Peanuts comic strip.. A perpetual cloud of incompetence, conceits, corruption, and shabby political motives swirls around him. WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden on Monday urged Republican senators to “get out of the way” and let Democrats suspend the nation’s debt limit, hoping to keep the U.S. government from bumping dangerously close to a credit default as Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell refuses to lend his party’s help. Biden’s criticism came with Congress facing an Oct 18 deadline to allow for more borrowing to keep the government operating after having accrued a total public debt of $28.4 trillion. The House has passed a measure to suspend the debt limit, but McConnell is forcing Senate Democrats into a cumbersome
