The terror attacks at the Hamid Karzai International Aiport on Thursday resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. service members and at least 90 Afghans as Biden administration scrambles to evacuate the remaining Americans ahead of the Aug. 31withdrawal deadline. According to Department of Defense data, Fox News’s Bret Baier reported, that makes it “THE deadliest (hostile) day for US troops since an August 5, 2011 helicopter attack” and therefore “THE deadliest attack in more than a decade.”

The Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts has died at the age of 80, it has today been announced.
The London-born drummer joined the then-fledgling band in 1963 after meeting Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Brian Jones while playing in rhythm and blues clubs.
Along with Jagger and Richards, Watts featured on every one of the band's studio albums. He was widely regarded as one of the greatest drummers of all time. Watts was due to tour the US with the band later this year.

Outgoing NY Governor Andrew Cuomo has been blasted by victims' groups for commuting the murder sentence of San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin's dad over an armored car robbery that killed three. Cuomo announced Monday evening that he was commuting the prison sentences of David Gilbert, 76, Greg Mingo, 68, Robert Ehrenberg, 62, Ulysses Boyd, 66, and Paul Clark, 59. All five have murder convictions, with Gilbert - Boudin's father - the only killer still incarcerated with no possibility of parole over a deadly 1981 hold-up of a Brinks cash truck, that left a security guard and two cops dead.

More than four in 10 patients hospitalised with the Delta variant in England may have been admitted for something else, MailOnline's analysis of official data suggests. Public Health England's fortnightly update on coronavirus strains circulating around the country showed 7,285 people had spent at least one night in hospital with the mutant virus by August 15.
But it admitted as many as 3,154 (43 per cent) had likely come to A&E for 'a diagnosis unrelated to Covid' and tested positive later through routine swabbing.

Frustration over the mostly feckless national Republican Party is nothing new. Those of us on the political right have few electoral options given our two-party system. In some elections, the choice is stark and easy, as when Reagan or Trump were at the top of the ticket. Other years saw names like McCain or Romney on the ticket and many of us held our noses voting Republican only because it was the better of two lousy choices. The leftist agenda moves forward regardless of who is elected, at the presidential or congressional level, the only difference being the speed of decline.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Thursday that he can't rule out people having to have COVID-19 booster shots indefinitely as the virus continues to surge. Fauci, the chief medical advisor to the president, made his comments in an interview with Anderson Cooper on CNN in which he also warned that fully vaccinated people with so-called breakthrough infections can still get long-term COVID. 'We know a lot more than we did to start, but there's obviously, you know, we need to be humble in the face of this virus,' Fauci said.

Census Bureau statisticians and outside experts are trying to unravel a mystery: Why were so many questions about households in the 2020 census left unanswered? Residents did not respond to a multitude of questions about sex, race, Hispanic background, family relationships and age, even when providing a count of the number of people living in the home, according to documents released by the agency.

It’s well established that the recycling system in America is utterly broken. National Geographic reports that something like 91 percent of recycled plastic ends up in a landfill. Environmentalists know this. And now, they have pinpointed the problem: you.
Yes, you’re the one who tossed your yogurt container into the recycling bin. You’re the one who included your styrofoam coffee cup along with your old newspapers. You’re the one who attempted to recycle a slightly dirty paper plate, plastic utensils, sticky notes, straws, and wet paper towels (all no-go’s that spoil everything).

Dr Anthony Fauci has warned of 'some pain and suffering in the future' as coronavirus cases continue to rise, but said that he does not see the need for new lockdowns. 'I don't think we're going to see lockdowns,' Fauci told Jonathan Karl of ABC's This Week on Sunday. 'I think we have enough of the percentage of people in the country – not enough to crush the outbreak – but I believe enough to allow us to not get into the situation we were in last winter.' The nation's top infectious disease expert warned, however, that 'things are gonna get worse' and the number of COVID

AURORA, Colo. — Last October, Samantha Pate and Andrew Martinez took a photo to mark the day they got their new apartment. On Saturday, one day before the nationwide eviction moratorium ends, their family of four, could be giving those keys back and out in the elements. “We might be evicted,” the couple said. “We might be evicted,” the couple said. They say they’re struggling to keep up with rent. “Eight months, about $8000,” they said. CORRECTION*

The ventriloquist who speaks through Biden is about to dictate that all government employees must be vaccinated for COVID. This despite dire warnings about the vaccines, most of which warnings have, of course, been censored and disregarded. Here in California, we're re-entering the mask-up phase, including the declaration that all the kids need to wear one full-time in school in the fall.

The teen, identified by police as Nicholas Mcquirter, also was shot but is recovering in the hospital.

So Biteme had a bad day. It wasn't such a great day for the victims and their families either.
