Did Biden’s Political Needs Lead To
Tragically Mistaken Drone Strike?

Unintentional killings of innocent civilians are an unfortunate but inevitable occurrence in sustained wars. The wars associated with our attempt to curb terrorism seem particularly prone to producing such killings by American forces. I don’t think there’s any doubt that the wars fought under Presidents Bush (43) and Obama resulted in U.S. forces unintentionally killing innocent civilians. This might well have been the case under President Trump too, despite the scaled-back and changed nature of his war efforts. However, the unintentional killing of innocents in that recent Afghanistan drone strike, as we were completing our evacuation of Americans and Afghans, is different in at least two respects.CORRECTION*

This was biden's version of Clinton firing a few missiles at an aspirin factory. It was supposed to show what a great military "leader" he was. Instead, he is a war criminal with the blood of those innocent children on his hands. And, yes, I know that children die as collateral damage in war. But we weren't in war when he did this. He had already surrendered.

Problem 13 American soldiers (and a couple hundred civilians) are killed in a suicide bombing. Politicians are blamed for a FUBAR surrender to goat keeper. Solution. Kill a bunch of children with a TARGETED drone strike. We're from the government and we're here to help.

FTA: "The target of our attack was thought to be on his way to inflict serious terrorist damage. That he actually wasn’t means we made a mistake, but as I said, mistakes are inevitable in the war against terrorists at any stage." The author is being way to generous in stating, without evidence, that this was simple a mistake. To believe that Biden is not callous enough to intentionally strike innocents requires one to also believe in the 'Tale of Corn Pop' and the little Black kids rubbing the hair on his pasty white legs. I can't ignore the fact that the administration had an entire narrative about who they struck before the smoke cleared from the murder scene. In plain language I believe that Biden OK'd a strike on any native civilian(s) because he figured no one could challenge his claim that his "over the horizon" drone strike prevented an enemy combatant from launching an attack on Afghans and/or Americans "who wanted to stay behind." A few days before this strike, the administration claimed another strike took out a bad guy but the pictures showed no sign of any damage to human but rather looked for all the world that they had hit an empty golf cart. Biden needed some blood and guts to quell his skeptics, which increasingly included some of his typically friendly news organizations. Biden was suffering from demented desperation and someone's blood and guts had to be splattered.

The newspapers’ reporting was “based on the false reporting of a non-existent link between the Kremlin and the Trump Campaign. The coverage was no more than a politically motivated farce," Trump wrote in a letter to interim Pulitzer administrator Bud Kliment.

The Senate parliamentarian has nixed Democrats' back-up plan for getting immigration reform into a sweeping spending bill, handing them a second setback. Democrats had pitched parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough on legalizing millions of undocumented immigrants by making a change to the date for when undocumented immigrants within the United States can apply to adjust their legal status. But MacDonough told Democrats that the option was a non-starter, according to a copy of the guidance obtained by The Hill. Democrats are pursuing other back-up plans with the Senate referee, according to a source familiar with Democrats' strategy.

Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough on Sunday ruled Democrats cannot include amnesty in their gargantuan reconciliation bill because it is not a budget-related matter. The Democrats are pushing their $3.5 trillion “infrastructure” bill through budget reconciliation to go around Republicans because it will only need a simple majority to pass. Democrat lawmakers tried to sneak immigration reform in the infrastructure bill because they know it will never pass in a vote that requires at least 60 votes to pass. The Senate Parliamentarian rejected the Democrats’ effort to give illegals a pathway to citizenship because it would lead to “other, life-changing federal, state and societal benefits.”
