Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp were back in business on Monday afternoon after a seven hour shutdown that cost CEO Mark Zuckerberg an estimated $7 billion. Technicians had attempted a 'manual reset' of its servers on Monday afternoon, which appeared to have worked. A small team of employees was sent to Facebook's data center, in Santa Clara, California, to try a 'manual reset' of the company's servers, according to an internal memo obtained by The New York Times.

And millions of people throughout the world looked out their windows for the first time in months and thought to themselves, "hey, there is a real world out there! Why am I spending so much time on these idiot sites?" Guess I must be anti-social. I've never been on Faceplant or Instagram or any of them.

I'm not anti-rich, but Zuckerburger deserves to lose way more than $7 billion. But, if people stop using these evil social media sites, they'd all go to Gehenna.

I've never used Facebook but I do use Instagram to share pictures with my family. That's about it.

When your day is ruined because your social media access has been denied, something is very wrong. While these platforms are great avenues to connect with family and friends, they should not be the driving force in your life. We did actually live lives without them not so long ago. I have been trying to make it a point to put my phone away when I am out and about. The folks I see who cannot function without their device in their hands are kind of pathetic. How many times have you seen kids totally ignored because a parent has their head bowed looking down at their phone and that makes me very sad for their kids. I admit these devices are convenient but they also have a way of disconnecting us from life that is happening in real time.

We think we have problems. How would you like to lose $7 billion overnight? The funny thing is nobody feels any sympathy for Suckerberg. I have been a member of similar rescue teams a few times when systems crash and business comes to a standstill. It's not fun at all. People scream and management interrupts you every five minutes for a status report.
Fakebook was fun at the beginning when people simply exchanged family and cat pictures and everybody was civil. Once it became political and the techies thought they could control our lives, it all went downhill.

Expect another memo from facepunk head Zuck. It will read, "The network problem we experienced was a result of a minimum wage, female, chinese mattress handler who could not find the "ON" switch, as the switch was recently moved to another one of my 1000 houses in a whole other state that I bought in last November's election"

Not being addicted to fakebook, tweeter, instagram, or Whatsapp, I think it is still nice to see these Social Media sites experience hard times yesterday. I feel bad for my grand kids who were born into SM and go into instant depression when they go somewhere and there isn't any wifi. Or actually, I feel good about it.
I prefer staying connected with family in person. Old school? Yes. But, the world was a far better place before it was infected with SM.

#4, you can do that with your phone - just text them photos. You can also FaceTime with your family. No need for Instagram or any other social media.

Time to sign up (better yet, switch) to my favorite conservative alternatives: GETTR, Rumble, FrankSpeech, and America's Voice. There are other good options, but IMO these are most likely to survive a market shakeout/consolidation.
Then "Zuckerbuck$" (h/t Dr. Peter Novarro) and the other globalists can pound sand.
Yes there WILL be a bifurcation of the US communication and other markets. There is simply no compromise with evil traitors and their fellow travelers.

If FB was down for 7 hours, it's because they wanted to be down. Don't believe anything from Google/FB/Twitter.They're all media conglomerates and they lie.
