Decriminalizing gang bangers, Soros prosecutor
Kim Foxx declines to charge five arrested

Chicago now is like Dodge City before Marshal Dillon arrived: a fatal shootout on its streets is no crime because both sides were shooting. (snip) An escalating number of shootouts is the inescapable implication of the decision of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office to release all five suspects arrested in a fatal shootout between rival gangs in the city’s Southside Austin neighborhood (snip) “Mutual combatants was cited as the reason for the rejection.” Mutual combat is a legal term used to define a fight or struggle that two parties willingly engage in.

It is really hard (as with the Newsom recall in Ca.) to feel sorry for the citizens of Chicago.........I have a good friend who lives on Lake Shore Drive and votes for "those" people consistently. Obviously it isn't HER problem (yet) but what about all those people who ARE affected, live on the South Side etc, those people she professes to care about.. Those actually affected either don't vote or don't think.........why are these criminals let out to ravage and kill again, why are their kids educations lousy, why can't they get ahead? Do they just turn their minds OFF? (I also think Republicans should show and and make their very solid case as to why the Kim Fox's of this world, supported by the truly evil George Soros, are in office.)

This ignores the risk to innocent bystanders including children who are huddled in fear at night as these gang wars go on. It is a classic example of soft racism. Black children are simply not worth protecting in their poisoned minds.

There is some small truth to her position - shooting at someone who IS shooting at you IS mutual 'self-defense'. But these fools can't aim for doodoo and kill/maim bystanders including children by the scores. That alone should merit vigorous enforcement/prosecution and islamic punishments.

It is amusing to watch the communists complain about communists doing communistic things. The “outrage” is so patently false that the word absurd is hardly appropriate. The people of Chicago (Bang! Bang!) are to blame. They show up and vote for these people time and time again. They continue to support the machine that turns out death and misery for all but the most elite. Chicago is the 21st century Detroit.

There should be a new movement. NLM. Nobody's Life Matters. Just let them go after each other. Guess what? Folk submit to government for protection from this sort of behavior. Otherwise why bother? Chicago is a free fire zone. Anarchy prevails. No one is safe, except for the politicians who hire individual ARMED guards. I'll bet Mayor Lightfoot is protected by Armed Guards, all the time. Kim Fox probably has ARMED protection around the clock. Safety for me, and not for thee, that's the ticket.

They roll up when cops/SWAT are ALREADY on the scene, a helo or Drone camera is filming, have a shootout with nearly 100 shots fired. NO ONE gets charged? "We could not definitively discern who had a gun in their hand and fired the shots"...Uhmmm, a simple swab test for Gun shot residue, finger prints on weapons, magazines, shells, are definitive. These dudes are known/admitted Gang members..odds are that they have multiple prior arrests, are on probation/parole, the guns used were not "Legal" and that those using them were not "Legal" to posses them. Even filing a "Noise/Public disturbance" charge would have been enough to hold them until forensic examination revealed who did what, and to whom.. In Chicago 43% of both shooters and victims have prior gun arrests, 23% have THREE OR MORE. Nearly all gun charges are dropped in exchange for a guilty plea on a misdemeanor charge of drugs or assault, anything that keeps the "Poor, misguided child" from having a felony record that would "Ruin his future"

'Let them shoot' it out sounds good in theory but in reality, they hit innocent bystanders more often than not. Just last week there was a daytime, rolling gun battle in the West Loop (a fairly safe neighborhood). Four of the five people shot were innocent victims - two pedestrians, a bicyclist and a man in the backseat of a ride share car.

Mutual combat does sanction a shootout at the OK Corral. The Illinois Supreme Court has stated, "Illinois courts recognize that evidence of mutual combat is sufficient to require an instruction to the jury on voluntary manslaughter due to serious provocation." We all know that Kin Fox is an idiot as demonstrated by her actions in the Jesse Smollett case. So it is easy to see how Kim Fox was just confused by Lori Lightfoot's call for all Chicago Police officers to "get he shot". Apparently Fox thought Lightfoot meant cops should get shot and that the gang bangers were just doing a public service by shooting people so they could "get the shot". Easy mistake to make, especially in Chicago. Now, the gang bangers will go out and give some citizens "shots" this weekend.

One of the more bizarre twists in the saga of the COVID pandemic has been doctors growing increasingly frustrated and even angry with patients asking for medical treatment rather than wholesale vaccination. (snip) Some patients take exception to this approach and ask for ivermectin, which is being used outside of the United States to treat early COVID. There is a significantly lower incidence of serious cases of COVID in countries that use ivermectin for early exposures. Doctors are not taking kindly to the suggestion that patients should have access to medication that can prevent serious illness. They are denouncing ivermectin as a veterinary drug

When Abraham Lincoln spoke the prophetic words "a house divided against itself cannot stand" — in a speech before the Illinois Republican state convention in 1858 — he was a relatively unknown politician. He saw the obvious: North and South were hopelessly divided over the issue of slavery — or more fundamentally, states' rights — and a breakup was all but all but unavoidable. This came to pass in just a few years' time in the form of the Civil War. Is America nearing a similar point in 2021?
