(CNN)A United States military investigation into a deadly Kabul drone strike on a vehicle in August has found it killed 10 civilians and the driver and that the vehicle targeted was likely not a threat associated with ISIS-K, announced Gen. Frank McKenzie, the top general of US Central Command, at the Pentagon on Friday. McKenzie told reporters that the strike -- which he said killed seven children -- was a "mistake" and offered an apology.

And yet no one is punished. No one goes to jail for killing children. How special it must be to a General and our current dementia rittled President who really could care less about both his own troops and the people he kills.

"A strike not up to our standards" is NOT a synonym for the murder of 10 innocent people, seven of them children. But, as long as the bozo who authorized it apologized...well...no harm no foul, right?

I'm not making excuses for those who authorized the mistaken strike, but Biden made several comments about how we would hit them hard ASAP. Someone was under enormous pressure to find a target. First the goat herder near the Pakistan border was bombed, then the family near the airport. Biden got to crow a bit about it for a few days, and has been mute on the subject ever since.

The prime responsibility for the Afghan children being droned and killed lies with Biden, as it was he in the first instance who put the US military in a perilous position at the Kabul Airport so that he could retreat out of Afghanistan and surrender to the Taliban. Having just had 13 US military members killed and 15 more seriously wounded at the Kabul Airport. Force protection became a top issue. From the get-go it looks like Biden, his crew, and their Generals misrepresented what happened when the children were droned. Remember that happened in a residential neighborhood in the City of Kabul, a city of 4 million people, with the above US functionaries claiming that intelligence reports were received that Afghan Isis-K Terrorists were aboard a white colored Toyota Corolla sedan loaded with high explosives, of which there are no doubt thousands of such Toyota Corollas in Kabul, and were planning on imminently attacking the US military at the airport. So the powers at be decided to drone the white Toyota Corolla and the killed the Afghan adult aid worker and the children. They then told the American people that there were large secondary explosions after the small US missile hit the Toyota Corolla evidencing that it was loaded with high explosives. But when you look at photographs of the target vehicle, there are buildings all around that are still standing with even glass still in the windows. If there were really large secondary explosions caused by high explosives detonating there would be massive damage to the nearby buildings. In reality if there was any sort of secondary explosion it was caused by the Corolla’s gas talk blowing up which caused the Corolla to catch fire and be completely destroyed. The question is was that drone strike, that now looks like it was based upon misleading intelligence from Afghan sources, rushed to give the Biden Administration the political cover they thought they needed to show an effective response to the terrorist attack that killed and wounded the US military members? So much for Biden’s so-called “Over the Horizon” strategy where by long range drones would be used to take out terrorists in Afghanistan that would be controlled and flown at Creech AFB in Nevada or from a base in England, while commanded by HQ Central Command near Tampa, Florida.

Why would any one think that Democrats are going to be held accountable for killing people. They used the military to kill more than 80 people in a church when a Democrat was president. Everyone involved got raises and promotions.

The leftist operatives were identified making numerous drops in the middle of the night. They were filmed emptying their backpacks of ballots into the drop boxes in the middle of the night. Addressing “the American leadership,” Marine Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Scheller has posted the video below to his Facebook page. Making a point I have made repeatedly in my comments on our withdrawal from Afghanistan, Lieutenant Colonel Scheller seeks accountability from senior leaders. Obviously made at substantial risk to himself, it is a powerful statement that is likely to be suppressed before long. Perhaps he himself should have resigned from the Corps before he made it. I don’t know.

The Biden administration is planning to send thousands of migrants who have gathered under a bridge near a Texas border crossing back to their home nation of Haiti beginning Sunday, the Associated Press reported Friday night. The AP cited an official who said that between five and eight flights per day would depart from various cities in an effort to relieve the pressure on local and federal officials in the city of Del Rio. It was not immediately clear which cities would be used for the departure flights. More than 13,000 migrants, the vast majority from Haiti, were estimated to have taken shelter under the International Bridge

The goal is 2045 for larger vehicles, such as medium- and heavy-duty trucks and buses.

William F. Buckley’s desire to “stand athwart history and yell ‘Stop!’” described a personality type more than a political agenda. Conservatives, by well-earned reputation, tend to revere traditions and institutions, trust authority, and favor measured, incremental change. Dana Carvey’s impersonation of George H.W. Bush caricatured the type brilliantly: “Wouldn’t be prudent, wouldn’t be prudent at this juncture.” Without knocking prudence, however, shouting “Stop!” is only a smart strategy when you’re ahead. It doesn’t help when you’re losing. (snip)Stopping time now would enshrine the stupidity, cruelty, and moral bankruptcy of radical leftist wokeism.
