(CNN)A United States military investigation into a deadly Kabul drone strike on a vehicle in August has found it killed 10 civilians and the driver and that the vehicle targeted was likely not a threat associated with ISIS-K, announced Gen. Frank McKenzie, the top general of US Central Command, at the Pentagon on Friday.
McKenzie told reporters that the strike -- which he said killed seven children -- was a "mistake" and offered an apology.

And yet no one is punished. No one goes to jail for killing children. How special it must be to a General and our current dementia rittled President who really could care less about both his own troops and the people he kills.

Sorry # 1 ...Obama / Biden have been killing kids for quite sometime. On the bright side , those drone strikes mean they never knew what hit them.

"A strike not up to our standards" is NOT a synonym for the murder of 10 innocent people, seven of them children. But, as long as the bozo who authorized it apologized...well...no harm no foul, right?

I'm not making excuses for those who authorized the mistaken strike, but Biden made several comments about how we would hit them hard ASAP. Someone was under enormous pressure to find a target. First the goat herder near the Pakistan border was bombed, then the family near the airport. Biden got to crow a bit about it for a few days, and has been mute on the subject ever since.

Jobama had to look tough. He didn’t give a damn who died so long as he could sell the lie that bad guys died. It appears he killed an honorable man and his children.

The prime responsibility for the Afghan children being droned and killed lies with Biden, as it was he in the first instance who put the US military in a perilous position at the Kabul Airport so that he could retreat out of Afghanistan and surrender to the Taliban.
Having just had 13 US military members killed and 15 more seriously wounded at the Kabul Airport. Force protection became a top issue. From the get-go it looks like Biden, his crew, and their Generals misrepresented what happened when the children were droned. Remember that happened in a residential neighborhood in the City of Kabul, a city of 4 million people, with the above US functionaries claiming that intelligence reports were received that Afghan Isis-K Terrorists were aboard a white colored Toyota Corolla sedan loaded with high explosives, of which there are no doubt thousands of such Toyota Corollas in Kabul, and were planning on imminently attacking the US military at the airport.
So the powers at be decided to drone the white Toyota Corolla and the killed the Afghan adult aid worker and the children. They then told the American people that there were large secondary explosions after the small US missile hit the Toyota Corolla evidencing that it was loaded with high explosives. But when you look at photographs of the target vehicle, there are buildings all around that are still standing with even glass still in the windows. If there were really large secondary explosions caused by high explosives detonating there would be massive damage to the nearby buildings. In reality if there was any sort of secondary explosion it was caused by the Corolla’s gas talk blowing up which caused the Corolla to catch fire and be completely destroyed.
The question is was that drone strike, that now looks like it was based upon misleading intelligence from Afghan sources, rushed to give the Biden Administration the political cover they thought they needed to show an effective response to the terrorist attack that killed and wounded the US military members? So much for Biden’s so-called “Over the Horizon” strategy where by long range drones would be used to take out terrorists in Afghanistan that would be controlled and flown at Creech AFB in Nevada or from a base in England, while commanded by HQ Central Command near Tampa, Florida.

Why would any one think that Democrats are going to be held accountable for killing people.
They used the military to kill more than 80 people in a church when a Democrat was president. Everyone involved got raises and promotions.
