The grieving mother of Ashli Babbitt, the U.S. Air Force veteran who was fatally shot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, says neither Nancy Pelosi nor Dianne Feinstein – nor any other current elected official, Democrat or Republican, has reached out to her regarding questions about her daughter’s death. California resident Micki Witthoeft spoke out last week in a podcast conversation with conservative commentator Dinesh D’Souza. She also said no one from the Biden administration or the Justice Department has answered her questions, including about the identity of the law enforcement officer seen on video firing his weapon at Babbitt.

NO one should be reprimanding Ashli's Mom. NO one. Those lousy POSs in both parties should be jumping up and down about what happened to Ashli. Since when is it OK to murder an unarmed person? WHEN! michael byrd needs to come forward, fall on his knees and beg forgiveness from God, Ashli's Mom, and her husband, then you and me!! What has happened should boldly exposed. To hell with the politicians. God bless Ashli's family.

Simple fact. One of Nasty Nancy's thugs, a Mike Byrd, murdered Ashli Babbitt in cold blood. Babbitt was unarmed and posed zero threat, yet was shot at a range of about 4 or 5 feet without any warning. The people running the Congress are evil, violent thugs. They break the laws with impunity.

I watched the whole thing immediately after it happened on “Jayden’s” video. Before anyone could get to it, cut it, splice it, tinker with it, whatever. Tiny Ashli just wanted to get up where she could put her cell phone/camera at the open part of the broken glass door pane. She was NOT crawling through. It would have been insane for her to try as the opening was too small and the bottom part of the broken pane was still fixed in its frame below the opening. Lieutenant Michael Leroy Byrd panicked for reasons we may never know. Maybe just a gutless guy. But I saw him lurch out of his hiding place and murder Ashli Babbitt and he shouted no warning. Period. If Ashli were my daughter, I’d be raising hell...

Our worthless Republican Party cannot do anything to help in this case, or the Jan 6 Republicans held in the DC gulags? What good is the Republican Party? The leadership cannot even raise a voice when the election is stolen. Heck, they turn on us and vote for Biden's infrastructure bill, which is nothing but slush funds for Democrats, and persecution for conservatives, the deplorables, whites, those that get attacked, if they wear a MAGA cap. The only purpose of the Republican Party is a false pretension that we have a choice, a palliative to keep us quiet. Now, now, just calm down, you are not being robbed, and tyrannized over, you have the Republican Party, just wait until the next election, and everything will be set right.

As Afghanistan crumbled on Sunday, the American people had one question on their minds: ‘Where is the president?’ [snip] One of the first things people noticed was the utter lack of Operational Security: It showed on the television that there were camera feeds from both the CIA and Doha Station. [snip] There is an issue with the clocks showing London and Moscow are three hours apart. Those two cities are two hours apart, so either the photo is wrong or the clocks at Camp David are wrong.

Nearly two dozen Texas House Democrats who fled the state last month have sued Gov. Greg Abbott and other Republican officials, alleging that GOP efforts to bring them back to the state Capitol for a special legislative session infringed on their constitutional rights. The 22 plaintiffs have been "deprived of liberty for substantial periods of time, suffered much anxiety and distress over separation from their families, and much discomfort and embarrassment," the complaint filed late Friday alleges. Their vacation does not affect the lack of quorum that the House has in Austin that prevents the chamber from passing an elections bill. But it is at odds with Democrats’ insistence that they would use their time away to advocate for federal voting rights legislation in the nation’s capital. State Reps. The ad he sought to have aired promotes his cyber symposium event that will discuss the 2020 election. Lindell has repeatedly asserted the election was fraudulent, claiming Dominion Voting Systems machines were manipulated to steal votes from former President Donald Trump. Election officials and the company have rejected the claims. Lindell asserted the commercial would not discuss claims of election fraud, according to the Wall Street Journal, but he has said the event will prove election fraud.

The federal government provides tens of millions of dollars each year to a nonprofit group that supports the movement to defund police departments and dismantle the criminal justice system. Officials with the Brooklyn-based Vera Institute of Justice have urged the government to "radically dismantle" police departments in order to fix a system they say dehumanizes people of color. The institute is heavily funded by the federal government. So far this fiscal year, the Department of Justice, Department of Health and Human Services, and other agencies have awarded the Vera Institute more than $89 million in contracts and grants.

President Biden's Justice Department warned states on Wednesday that they could face legal action in rolling back COVID-era voting procedures. "The department's enforcement policy does not consider a jurisdiction’s re-adoption of prior voting laws or procedures to be presumptively lawful; instead, the department will review a jurisdiction’s changes in voting laws or procedures for compliance with all federal laws regarding elections, as the facts and circumstances warrant," reads a document released by DOJ. It proceeds to outline a long list of statutory protections on voting rights, including those surrounding mail-in voting.

But a senior administration official indicated to reporters Sunday evening that Biden might address the country “in the next few days,” according to reports. Fauci said, “What’s coming next is that we are going to have to continue to get people vaccinated so that right now, even in states in which you have a good relative proportion of people vaccinated, you have to get the overwhelming proportion of people vaccinated. What will it take for Joe Biden to admit he is disastrously wrong about Afghanistan? The US leader struck a defiant pose last week. Sounding like a slightly desperate Olympics coach, he told Afghans it was their country. If they want it, they have to fight for it. In American politics-speak, this is called tough love. Without the love. Biden has more hands-on foreign policy experience than any president since George HW Bush. That doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing. Opinion polls suggest his abrupt Afghan withdrawal has majority public support. That doesn’t mean Americans will remain indifferent as the carnage and misery mount.

As the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack looms, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is crying poverty for the second year in a row. This time, it says it can’t afford to mount special exhibitions planned to mark the two-decade milestone. In 2020, the twin-beam “Tribute in Light” was canceled only to win a last-minute reprieve after soon-to-be-ex Gov. Cuomo pitched in state resources. But no such bailout appears in the offing this time. In fact, this year, the museum is shamefully restricting the reading-of-the-names ceremony exclusively to the families of 9/11 victims. No hero firefighters, cops, first responders or emergency workers,
