Thousands of people were seen running for planes in countless videos posted to social media at the airport in Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan, as the Taliban takes control of the country. Some of the videos were posted late on Sunday night and during the early morning hours on Monday local Afghanistan time.“Witnesses at the civilian domestic terminal said they had heard occasional gunshots and said thousands of people had crammed into the terminal and filled the parking lots, desperately seeking flights out,” The New York Times reported. “Late Sunday, the State and Defense Departments issued a statement saying the U.S. was working to secure control of the airport

Biden needs to resign now, or he needs to be impeached. Other option, the 25th amendment. He obviously is in way over his head. He is not intellectually capable of running this country and he has destroyed Afghanistan. The terrorists are probably already plotting.

I don't thnk Biden, Harris, and Pelosi care. They will claim it is all Trump's fault and the media will cover their butts.

We can't be concerned about Afghanistan at the moment we are in dire need to root out white supremist in the military. General Meat Head Milley is in the throws of CRT than to be leading military to evacuate or save Americans trapped in the hell hole we spent 20 years to free from the Taliban. It' s Biden's 'bug out' time now but the doofus is clueless of what's going on.

The Brits are also in full evacuation mode. Last report I saw indicated about 6,000 British contractors, military, and other civilians were still in the country.
Afghan President Ghani and his cabinet, and family were airlifted out of the country to a secure location over the weekend. I see that China's and Russia's embassies remain open for business in Kabul eager to cooperate with the taliban.
It's hell on earth for the Afghan people again. I view future events there with horror. The US military left plenty of tanks, humvees, helicopters, artillery, and small arms that the taliban will be using to tighten its grip on the people. The taliban is reportedly using biometrics data bases to figure out who helped the U.S. military. It will take special ops to get those people out, if this is even possible. God, our almighty Savior, please help the Afghan people.

The only thing holding this "country" together was President Trump and his policies. Not the treasonous generals who advised him and certainly not the cowardly and probable Talban sympathizers in the ranks.

We couldn't conquer Afghanistan in twenty years, yet the Taliban just conquered it in 20 days. We must be really, really weak.

This humiliating withdrawal was not Biden's decision. This decision was made by the Marxists in the White House. When Biden is removed from his presidency will Harris also be controlled by these Marxists? If the answer is yes, Biden's departure will not change things for the better.
Did our foreign intelligence agencies warn the White House that this disaster was possible, if not probable, but the White House did not heed such warnings? If the WH failed to heed such warnings, it's far worse than a failure of intelligence. It means we have an out of control WH and less likely that a Harris Administration will improve our foreign policy decisions.

There are more than one way to look at things...
What has happened?
America, and others, have given islam planes, helicopters, tanks, APC, vehicles,
small arms, side arms, and undoubtably, millions of rounds of ammunition.
And now, islam, being islam, will probably spend the next decade or so eviscerating itself.
It may not have been man's plan at all.

Those planes and all the people in them are sitting ducks if the Taliban decide to shut down the airport. And I doubt that airport has the facilities to accommodate thousands of people. This could turn into a humanitarian disaster.

We should have learned from Russia’s experience in Afghanistan. Back in late 2001, we should have gone in, taken out bin Laden and his crew and left.
The Afghans are tribal people. They are Muslims. Nation building was never going to work there.

If you watched the latest videos this morning of masses of primitive Afghans running all over the Kabul Airport trying to board the aircraft there, including US military aircraft, so much for Biden’s and his “woke” Generals plans to fly 6,000 US troops into that airport in large transport aircraft to take all the Americans and others out of Afghanistan.
Clearly instead of trying to find elusive and mysterious “White Supremacists” in the US military since Biden assumed office those “woke” Generals should have been planning for an orderly withdrawal of the remaining Americans and others out of Afghanistan. By announcing the date of his final withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan right in the middle of the Afghan fighting season, Biden gave the Taliban time to plan their current offensive to take over Afghanistan. Then Biden said essentially that the Afghans are on their own, and authorized his “woke” Generals to surreptitiously abandon Bagram airbase, that was the largest US base in Afghanistan, in the middle of the night without telling the Afghan Government and military. Clearly those actions by Biden destroyed whatever morale remained in the Afghan military. So here we are today!

If there are that many people trying to flee, it seems they have enough people to turn around and oppose the Taliban and maybe, just maybe, fight for their own freedom and win back their country.

We have the most inept and diabolical presidential administration of the past 100 years...and that's saying something. This is what you get when an election is stolen and a man the people didn't elect is placed into office...to be run by a demonic cabal of America-hating commies.

My heart is breaking for all of those lives lost and maimed during multiples tours in Afghanistan. My heart is breaking for the soldiers who are now in harms way because of an administration who doesn't give a damn about any one except retaining their power. My heart is breaking for this country which is being run into the ground by an inept old man and his cronies.

That demented little worm who thinks he’s our President hides out at Camp David ‘on vacation’ while our military are over there trying to get Americans out. Meanwhile Lyndsey Graham grovels to be Biden’s ‘friend’ and the rest of Congress sit on their collective asses as usual while Pelosi crows about what a great job Biden did. When does this nightmare stop? Somebody wake me up.

Hope our "intelligence" community (an oxymoron at this point) is proud of itself. A thorough housecleaning is in order - if we ever get the chance. Now Biden wants to bring these "refugees" (how many Taliban will be among them?) to US bases.
What could possibly go wrong with that? /s

Blaming the current debacle in Afghanistan on Trump's May 1st withdrawal deadline is specious at best. Had Trump rightfully been sworn in for his second term, he would not have waited until our military assets were withdrawn to begin evacuating U.S. diplomats and civilian workers, as well as Afghanis who had served U.S. interests in the country. It is Biden who pulled out the troops and air power before considering those remaining behind.

The video reminds me of the scene in the movie World War Z where mindless people are rushing to the last jets out of the country before the mindless Zomibie take over and kill everyone. The last luck few get on the last few jets out. Everyone else is overrun by the Zombies.
