As the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack looms, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is crying poverty for the second year in a row. This time, it says it can’t afford to mount special exhibitions planned to mark the two-decade milestone.
In 2020, the twin-beam “Tribute in Light” was canceled only to win a last-minute reprieve after soon-to-be-ex Gov. Cuomo pitched in state resources. But no such bailout appears in the offing this time.
In fact, this year, the museum is shamefully restricting the reading-of-the-names ceremony exclusively to the families of 9/11 victims. No hero firefighters, cops, first responders or emergency workers,

1) How much would it cost? Give us a number...
2) How much stimulus and Covid Money did the Museum receive?
3) What is it's management paid monthly/annually?
Now just Imagine the poutrage if Trump said: "I'll pay for it, and I'll handle ALL of the planning, catering, security, the whole event, but MY TEAM runs it ALL. The ONLY thing the City needs to do is keep the BLM/Antifa folks away, and make the buses/trains run on time."

I’ve often wondered where did ALL the money go?
All the millions (billions?) given to the victims’ and families and others. To say nothing of insurance and federal (taxpayer) dollars.

That entire operation is just grotesque grief porn. I cannot go anywhere near the place after seeing hordes of tourists wandering around taking selfies and gawking. We really are a sick culture.

Gee, maybe it could easily be paid for if we took the money from the billions we’re spending on feeding, housing, clothing and transporting hundreds of thousands of illegal criminal invaders and gave it to the museum.

Great idea, #1. Also, I could see that Donald and Mike might arm wrestle either or who pays, or if they'd split the cost.
PS: Good word, poutrage. I'll just have to co-opt it.

Most likely they diverted the funds to that slag that DeBlowsio is married to, or possibly for a later salute to Pisslam.

Looks like they would rather keep things on the down-low.
The real story about 911 is beginning to surface, and it ain't going to be good for the Marxists. People can call it a conspiracy theory, but never in the history of the world has any other steel-beam structures collapsed due to fire. Also, on September 10th, Defense Sec Rumsfeld announced trillions were missing from the Defense Dept. The next day Building 7, which reportedly held financial records, mysteriously collapsed, even though no plane hit it. I didn't believe in a deep state back then, but I do now. Trillions missing? Unreal.
Also, there were some devious insurance transactions leading up to the calamity, and the towers reportedly had a serious asbestos problem, but there's more to it. There's a huge story here, and the deep state would clearly rather not see the murky 911 "attack" re-scrutinized. And as far as I can tell, no one is looking for the missing trillions - still missing - someone should check the basement of the Hoover building.

The DHS wants to "educate the public about how these false narratives and conspiracy theories are not just confusing but dangerous." How can a theory be dangerous? It's thought. Here comes the thought police. Next Xi Bidan will institute the Ministry of Truth.
It's only dangerous to the deep state Marxists and the Luciferian media who have been lying to us about everything for years and are being exposed.

Democrats are trying to do everything in their power to prevent Americans from coming together over common ground. They want us disconnected from each other. In fact, it is important to them that we not remember 9/11 because evokes feelings of unity and that is the last thing they want. They do not want us to remember or honor the courage that was on display that day. In no way do they want to paint law enforcement in a good light. Therefore, it is necessary that we forget that day of shared mourning and our resolve to never forget. This is not about the money. They just too a rope to another historical monument.

#5 , you are absolutely correct .the “museum” is a terror tourist trap .A mawkish money maker .The only ONLY source of comfort is the light towers .
i is as there and ran into it .I saved my grandlings whose school was across the street from WTC and who lived The blanket hero tribute is crap .We were there when the 10 jumped together and by Grace of God they held hands tumbling over ..” I see people !” No, that’s just debris .” No , I see legs !
We prayed Psalm 23 and tower 1 went down then ran like hell ..
the museum isn’t a place a venue it’s inside and to make it a destination is not good because that evil is unleashed now ..especially today

Perhaps, President Trump could have a rally on the ship that they built with scrap metal from the twin towers to commemorate and memorialize the lost souls. It could be held in New York Harbor on 911 and they could invite all the surviving loved ones from 911 to attend.
Just a thought.

The firefighters and first responders won't be forgotten out here in fly-over land. The Nevada, Iowa first responders and others will be climbing the Verbio tower (abt 1/6th the height of the towers) to post the pictures of the 343 that lost their lives. The enlightened voters of New York support this fascism. I had an experience with a New York family at a vacation park and the father said, "We're New York Strong" in reference to aftermath of 9-11. I burst out laughing knowing they elect elites that could give a crap about 9-11 or them for that matter. Was I right?

They will repress it and shut it down for one simple reason. Having memorials generates patriotism and love for our country. Canceling and limiting these events are actions of the cancel culture.

Slavery. JFK's assassination. 9/11. It is one thing to remember and be respectful, but quite another to keep the pain and grief alive by constantly picking at the scab. I am not that fond of the yearly ceremonies that remind us of how a rag-tag group of terrorists, at a cost in the thousands, not millions, took advantage of the weakness of our airport security and whipped our butts on the world stage.
I would rather come together as Americans every day because we share the ideals of limited government and the God-given freedoms that are outlined in our Constitution.
Just shine the lights. That's all the reminder anyone needs in New York. It can't cost that much without all of the bells and whistles.

There will be a great tribute to Allah when the Taliban parades through Kabul on 9-11-2021 to celebrate the defeat of our disastrous USA Generals. Alexander Vindman is a respected author that retired honorably, an example of the politicization of the Pentagon officer class. Shame, shame, shame!
