Hagerty Holds Up the Senate—For Good

An article in the Washington Times this morning—“GOP Sen. Hagerty blocks Democrats from expediting $1.2T infrastructure bill in late-night session”—made this bald guy’s hair stand on end this morning. “Sen. Bill Hagerty blocked Democrats from ramming through President Biden’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill late Thursday, only hours after the package was found to be not fully paid for as promised. “Mr. Hagerty, a first-term Republican from Tennessee, refused to sign off on a deal between Democratic and GOP lawmakers to expedite passage of the legislation. Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer had worked out an agreement with Republicans to pass a series of amendments to the infrastructure package en masse.

Good for him, and about time someone on the Republican side stood up for us. Schumer and the Pierre Delecto crowd tried to shove another shady dealing down our throats in the middle of the night and then run out of town. Maybe this guy should be Minority Leader instead of McConnell.

Thank you Senator Hagerty. You are a man of character and are appreciated by the people. I just heard that Biden bought Romney's vote with 50 million out of the infrastructure for Utah. Many Republican Senators who are up for reelection next year, like Lisa Murkowski are getting a goody bag out of the Infrastructure bill.

Drew Altman, CEO and president of the Kaiser Family Foundation, said something very despicable about Americans who refuse to be vaccinated. This fellow who heads an untaxed foundation that is dedicated to improving health said, "A quarter of those who were unvaccinated say they will likely get a shot by the end of the year. Seeing their friends get sick and local hospitals fill up again with covid patients may speed them along and add them to the ranks." He is rooting for the infection of friends of Americans who assert their right not to be tampered with. The mission has shifted from fighting covid to coercing the vaccination of everyone.

President Joe Biden continues promoting coronavirus vaccine mandates for American citizens, but the White House still struggles to explain why that standard is not applied to migrants crossing the Southern border. White House press secretary Jen Psaki ignored a question Thursday asking if the administration wants to apply the same vaccine standards proposed for foreign visitors to migrants released into the United States. Psaki said that “interagency working groups” are developing a plan for international travel but did not address migrants coming across the Southern border.

After Interior Department Secretary Deb Haaland said in a video address taped earlier in the week that 34 staffers at the agency had died from COVID-19, the department’s communications director, Melissa Schwartz, wrote in a tweet Friday that one more person had died, bringing the tally to 35. Schwartz, in her statement, also updated the number of agency employees who have, to date, contracted the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, bringing that number up to over 4,000

I hate being right sometimes, and this is one of those times. As I feared, Brett Kavanaugh’s cowardice in not vacating the stay on the original eviction moratorium is coming back to haunt property owners across the country. In my previous pieces on this topic, I noted that Kavanaugh had the chance to join the conservatives, vacate the stay on the original moratorium, and do so in a way that clearly prevents any future issuance given how blatantly unconstitutional this theft of property is. Instead, perhaps in some misguided attempt to get the left to love him, the Trump-appointed justice joined the liberals, allowing the moratorium to continue and expire.

Clinical Trial Control Group Testing Vaccine Efficacy
and Safety

This is not just scientific madness, it appears to be very intentional and purposeful. The Moderna and Pfizer vaccine tests were conducted, as customary, with a control group; a group within the trial who were given a placebo and not the test vaccine. However, during the trial -and after the untested vaccines were given emergency use authorization- the vaccine companies conducting the trial decided to break protocol and notify the control group they were not vaccinated. Almost all the control group were then given the vaccine. Purposefully dissolving the placebo group violates the scientific purpose to test whether the vaccine has any efficacy; any actual benefit and/or safety issues.

They are just making up narratives now, and the media are not calling them out on it…. The Director of the CDC made an important admission during an interview today on CNN. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky stated the vaccine does not prevent COVID-19 infection, nor does it stop the vaccinated person from transmitting the infection or the delta variant. According to Director Walensky, the only benefit from the vaccine now is presumably that it reduces the severity of symptoms. If a vaccinated and non-vaccinated person have the same capacity to carry, shed and transmit the virus – with or without symptoms – then what difference does a vaccination passport

Dr. Rochelle Walensky has been making the media rounds. The University of Wisconsin removed a controversial boulder from its Madison campus Friday after the Black Student Union and other activists objected to its description nearly 100 years ago with a racial slur. Chamberlin Rock, which rests atop Observatory Hill, is named after a 19th Century geologist and former university president, Thomas Crowder Chamberlin, whose work centered on glacial deposits, according to a bio on the university’s website. But it was a reporter’s reference to the rock in a nearly century-old Wisconsin State Journal article that prompted the push for its removal. In October 1925, the university had the boulder excavated and placed prominently atop the hill to honor Chamberlin,
