On Saturday morning, California Republican Party delegates opted to withhold an endorsement in the upcoming special recall election set for September 14 when Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom could be ousted from office.Officials said the decision was made “with nearly 90 percent support” during a virtual meeting the day after two influential California Republicans reportedly encouraged members of the state GOP not to endorse a candidate. The four Republican contenders who qualified for endorsement consideration were conservative talk radio host Larry Elder, state Assemblyman Kevin Kiley, former San Diego mayor Kevin Faulconer, and former U.S. Congressman Doug Ose.

Democrats and Socialists spend all of their efforts to wend their way into positions of religious, political and educational authority. This is why government always tends toward the tyrannical. Only the busy-body neb-nose nagging neighbor work their way up to the top of that profession. Most people can't be bothered until those nasty creeps make living too difficult to endure.
The Elites, themselves are usually to incompetent in anything but brutalizing others to sustain a nation. Eventually, they either kill one another off, or instigate a disaster that practically exterminates their entire culture.

They should have chosen the strongest candidate and given him full support. It is way past time for Republicans to make a choice, stand up and act with courage.
But they can't and that is why they are Republicans, isn't it.

I continue to get pleas for donations to the Republican Party. Not one red cent from me until they get rid of the RINOS. So far, I don't see much needed house cleaning.

3, not here. Anyone officially supported would be targeted for destruction. The party here is so weak that no endorsement was the right call.

Spineless, worthless folks who pretend to be Repubs.
So, instead of throwing support to one candidate, helping to ensure that there is a less divided vote, and that one of the four might succeed.....they choose to go down the "completely divided" path, so that it is more likely that no single candidate will get enough votes to win.
They want to lose, don't they?

Any smart weaker Rep candidate would withdraw and support Mr. Elder.
After Mr. Elder wins, there might be room for these people in his administration immediately.

Feckless pieces of gutless trash. Larry Elder is the clear front runner, and should have been endorsed enthusiastically.
The GOP is worthless.

Gavin is already calling it the Republican recall so any endorsement would just have been added to his lying ads. Larry is already the clear fav so no need to help Gavin.

Larry Elder is clearly the best choice. Given how lame the California Republican Party is, Larry may be better off without the endorsement.

All the more reason for the citizens to choose a non politically endorsed candidate. Good job, Republican Party. Thanks for helping to destroy yourselves. At least we know who you are now.

This is typical example of the useless Ca. Republican Party leadership. They are part of the communist plot. They are part of the left wing stay in power diagram. We need MAGA supporting people with some integrity and spine to lead. Not more RIONO'S.

Clearly the CA GOP fears Larry Elder. Californians, you know what to do. Starve the GOP and work hard for Mr. Elder. Never give the GOP a dime. Donate directly. The GOP is corrupt.

Now that we know of the automated, convenient, 'voter fraud at home' system put in place, it won't make any difference.
Perhaps Repubs can triple vote, too with this system to offset the illegals voting and the Dems voting two or three times.
It would be interesting if California, with around 22 million registered voters in California, they count 45 million votes. They'd probably call that "a perfectly honest election" if Slick outcheats everyone else.

newsom's not going anywhere and neither is coomo - what have we come to, as a nation? -
this doesn't surprise me though because the repub party is, literally, non-existent in California and anyone who started out as a repub-like office holder, ie: Schwarzenegger somehow, was taught a lesson that you don't mess with the demcommie party -
the collapse is inevitable if we don't do something now.

When we read of the blatant, online, unlimited fraudulent voting system that has been set up for California, none of this makes sny difference.
Everyone can vote ten times if they want, apparently without any limits.

Guess they would prefer Newsome stay in?
Or maybe they are racist as well as RINO, and can't stand the idea of a conservative black man as Governor, since it looks to me like Larry Elder has the best chance.
