A bear attacked and injured a hiker in Yellowstone National Park Friday morning, marking the first incident of a bear injuring a person inside the park this year, officials said. A bear fatally attacked a man just outside the park in April. The 39-year-old man injured Friday was hiking alone on a trail near Mammoth Hot Springs when he encountered what he believe to be two grizzly bears. One bear attacked and injured the hiker. The Beaver Ponds Trail, where the hiker was injured, was closed until further notice. Park officials reported that staff were searching the area to make

Authorities frequently met last summer’s riots with a diffident response. National Guard troops remained in their barracks, and police often stood by as looting, arson, and property destruction took place in cities ranging from New York and Chicago to Seattle and Minneapolis. While political leaders deserve much of the blame, in some cases, the police themselves genuflected to left-wing protesters, endorsing their cause and reinforcing the protesters’ claimed moral superiority to the broader society.
The New Way Such responses by police and authorities are rooted in the fear that a heavy-handed response will cause more violence. This might be called the “blow off steam” approach to controlling civil

An explosive new study claims that Chinese scientists created COVID-19 in a Wuhan lab, then tried to cover their tracks by reverse-engineering versions of the virus to make it look like it evolved naturally from bats.
The paper's authors, British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen, wrote that they have had 'prima facie evidence of retro-engineering in China' for a year—but were ignored by academics and major journals. Dalgleish is a professor of oncology at St George's University, London, and is best known for his breakthrough creating the first working 'HIV vaccine', to treat diagnosed patients

Ensing posts family friendly beauty content mixed with some posts about her Christian conservative views — such as her support for the Second Amendment.

Days ago, I was honored to spend time with President Trump for an exclusive one-on-one interview on my nationally- syndicated radio show, “Wayne Allyn Root: Raw & Unfiltered” on USA Radio Network.
Before I get to the most important game-changer to come out of that interview, I’d like to get one thing out of the way. Just having this interview proves how wrong Democrats, liberals and assorted Marxist fools are about America. Most Democrats today are America-haters and national anthem kneelers. They find only fault with America. They see our history as negative. They see our country as “racist.”

A German team of researchers this week said they may have discovered what causes rare blood clots in some COVID-19 vaccine recipients.
Rolf Marschalek, a professor at Goethe University in Frankfurt who has been involved in studies looking into the rare clotting condition caused by the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, said his researcher showed the issue may be triggered due to adenovirus vectors.
An adenovirus—a common cold virus that can’t replicate—is the primary mechanism used by both the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, delivering the genetic instructions for the spike protein of the virus into the recipient’s body. Meanwhile, vaccines made by Moderna and Pfizer use mRNA technology.

President Joe Biden's 2022 budget proposal is projecting an economic boom for 2021 that will carry over into next year – with trillions in proposed spending increases the administration says will propel growth through the decade. The budget office is projecting 5.2 per cent growth for the year, with strong growth continuing into 2022 at a projected 4.3 per cent growth rate before leveling off.Annual deficits, which spiked amid a flood of spending to counter the coronavirus, will come down – but the accumulated debt held by the public will reach $24 trillion this year – 109 per cent of the nation's Gross Domestic Product.

For over a year, conservatives have suspected that the Wuhan virus came, not from people eating bats or pangolins, but from Chinese researchers messing around with bat viruses. That suspicion has now been pretty much confirmed. China, whether carelessly or deliberately, created and released a virus that essentially destroyed the world as we know it. It should be made a pariah nation, but instead, the Senate, by a huge margin that included almost all Republicans, adopted an amendment that cuts tariffs on hundreds of products that China ships to America. I'm probably being very stupid here, but for the life of me, I can't understand why.

Two distressing facts to remember about President Biden’s new 10-year budget proposal. First, his proposed spending spree would bring the largest federal debt in American history. Second, this budget does not even include additional spending and debt proposals that are coming later. On that first point, President Biden proposes that Washington spend $6 trillion next year — even as the pandemic recedes and the economy moves back towards full employment. Just a few years after federal spending first passed the $4 trillion threshold, President Biden would quickly blow past $6 trillion next year on the way past $8 trillion within a decade. Federal spending next year would exceed $45,000 per

Of all President Joe Biden’s awful economic policies, none will have as nasty and lasting an impact on average Americans as the sheer growth he’s proposing for the federal government. His newly unveiled budget lays bare once again the Democratic Party’s sharp socialist turn.
Biden’s budget is, in a word, mammoth. It proposes a total of $6 trillion in spending next year, with a budget deficit of $1.8 trillion. That’s a 36% rise above the pre-pandemic spending of $4.4 trillion in 2019.

Two men were escorted out of Yankee Stadium Thursday – one of them apparently in cuffs – after they hung a large pro-Trump banner from the second deck. Video and photos show two men unveiling a “Trump Won Save America” flag on the first-base side of the stadium which prompted a Bronx cheer of boos from many in the crowd. (Photos) At one point, someone on the deck below jumps up, apparently trying to pull down the banner during the second game of a doubleheader between the Yankees and Blue Jays. The two men appear to be struggling over the flag with a security guard in pictures taken by

Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot is now on the receiving end of a lawsuit following backlash for her declaration that she would only give interviews to journalists of color.
Lightfoot, who assumed office in May 2019, announced last Tuesday that she would only grant one-on-one interviews to 'black and brown' reporters to mark her two-year anniversary in office.
Her announcement about the temporary policy sparked anger from reporters of all colors, but Lightfoot doubled down on her decision the next day, insisting it was part of her lifelong battle for diversity and inclusion.

Video showing an unidentified flying object splashing down into the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego two years ago appears to have been corroborated by military radar which shows as many as 14 UFOs swarming a Navy combat ship while traveling at speeds of more than 160mph.
Earlier this month, investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell released footage showing what appeared to be a spherical object floating in the air above the ocean as it was observed by US Navy sailors aboard the USS Omaha in July 2019.Corbell on Thursday released another video of the same incident,

Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said Thursday on CNN’s “Don Lemon Tonight” that congressional Democrats wanted to investigate former President Donald Trump’s connection to the Capitol riot because Trump to be considered “an absolute pariah in America.” On the Senate voting on the House Capitol riot commission, Raskin said, “Well, they’ve elevated what they think is in their best political interests over what is clearly in the best interest of the country, which is to determine the truth of those events and the cause of those events.

In Times Square, the most densely tourist-populated place in the United States, a mentally disturbed man known as Mr. Kim begs cops to kill him. 'I want to die. You have a gun? Shoot,' he pleads. After the officers demur, he picks up a plank of wood and starts smashing it against the Pele soccer shop.On Sutton Place, one of the most affluent residential areas in the city, a lone man squats on the sidewalk, intently reading a paperback novel next to a shopping cart that contains his worldly goods. He begs for cash with a sign saying he has lost everything. 'Trying to survive,' it adds.

A Texas hospital claimed Thursday that the Biden administration owed it more than $200,000 as reimbursement for treating children who crossed the US-Mexico border illegally. Midland Memorial Hospital spokesperson Tasa Richardson told Fox News that the facility has submitted claims worth $206,287 but “no claims have been processed.” Richardson added that the hospital has treated 40 illegal immigrant minors since March, when the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) opened an emergency intake facility in the city of Midland.

Definitive proof, if found, that a laboratory accident at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) may have caused the Chinese coronavirus pandemic has the potential to break the nearly impenetrable shield of sovereign immunity protecting China from lawsuits by American victims of the virus.
American law protects foreign state powers from litigation on behalf of private persons through the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA). Mainstream diplomatic thought holds that sovereign immunity is a desirable policy to limit the power that individual citizens have to meddle in foreign policy, concentrating diplomatic powers in the state. The conventional wisdom holds

OK, that headline is clickbait, and we all know it is far too early to predict next fall’s elections with any confidence. Still, there are lots of positive indications. To begin with, there are multiple reports that while the Democrats feel comfortable with their position on the economy, with continuing rebound from the covid shutdowns assured and with some polls showing the public on board with the Biden administration’s money-printing scheme, they are deeply concerned about the unpopularity of their BLM/Antifa/CRT/anti-law enforcement agenda.
Then we have poll results from HarrisX suggesting that the Democrats’ spend-a-thon isn’t very popular either. The survey covered 10 swing Congressional districts:
Of those surveyed, just 12% support

Sen. Rick Scott said Thursday he will block top Homeland Security nominees until President Biden makes a trip to the southern border to get a firsthand look at the situation. Mr. Scott revealed his stance at a confirmation hearing with three nominees, the picks for deputy secretary, general counsel, and undersecretary for strategy, policy and plans. He said it wasn’t anything personal toward the three nominees, but rather a statement about Mr. Biden’s approach to the border. “Until the president goes to the border, I’m going to hold the nominations,” he said. A hold throws procedural hurdles in the path of the picks,

Once again, Joe Biden is trying to rewrite history by crediting his administration—and his administration only—for having “turned the tide” against the COVID-19 pandemic.
“From a year of darkness, we’re now emerging into the light,” Biden said during remarks at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland. “We’ve turned the tide on a once-in-a-century pandemic. We’ve turned the tide on a once-in-a-generation economic crisis, and families are beginning to be able to breathe just a little bit easier. We still have work to do, but our future today is as bright and wide open as it ever has been.”
Biden never once mentioned Operation Warp Speed.

Apparently, all would be paradise in crime-pit San Francisco if it weren't for all those lazy, racist cops who are persecuting poor, heroic Chesa Boudin, the city's leftist do-nothing district attorney.
That's the word from young Chesa, stepson of Bill Ayers, son of a terrorist convicted of killing a black cop, and former Hugo Chávez adviser, who's suddenly found himself unpopular in the city and facing a voter recall.
According to KPIX5 CBS of San Francisco (hat tip: LegalInsurrection.com):
District Attorney Chesa Boudin claimed Sunday that placing blame on his prosecutors for crime in San Francisco's

Homeland Security is moving to cut questions about gang affiliation from the application migrants file to get green cards, in a change that one former employee says could mean dangerous criminals will have an easier time getting through the process. Rob Law, a former chief of policy and strategy at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, revealed the planned changes Thursday, saying it appears to be part of the Biden team’s attempt at erasing the get-tough approach of the previous administration.(Snip)
The Washington Times has reviewed a document that does call for the deletion of Trump additions. Mr. Law said the new Biden team
