On Thursday, President Joe Biden traveled to Ohio to make the case that the economy is headed in the right direction. “We’ve turned the tide,” he told the crowd in Cleveland. Shortly afterward, during an appearance on Yahoo Finance Live, one of his top economic advisers acknowledged that in areas like inflation and in the labor market, “there's going to be some bumps in the road” as the economy continues to right itself following the pandemic. However, National Economic Council Deputy Director Bharat Ramamurti also told Yahoo Finance that the recent inflation jump is actually a positive sign. “The faster

Unemployment is also great because it means that people are staying safe in this deadly pandemic where it’s unsafe even to campaign for president!!! And higher gasoline prices are proof that petroleum is destroying the planet (it’s the only one we have right now, until elon and jeff get millions of colonist in outer space!). It also shows that audits undermine our country. No more Trump tweets!! The Startled Possum has saved us! Who cares about anything else?

Yeah Joe, paying more for everything is just what the American public wants. I look forward to the days when mortgage rates are what they were in the 70's and early 1980's. 18% for a home mortgage will do wonders for the economy. The media will go along with Biden's assessment of higher interest rates and inflation are good, but the rest of us know better.

inflation at any period of time in a countries history is not "a good sign" almost every war fought in the last 300 years has had an economic reason for the conflict and most population migrations were caused by economic dysfunction on the part of some government. we had better be careful how we handle our financial system but, unfortunately, the horse is gone and the barn door is broken so, as our President says: "we'll see what happens"

Carter said the same thing. These people are buffoons when they aren't being fools. If someone wanted to do a critique of representative government, look no further than who we elect. Look at our President. Look at our Senators. Look at our Representatives. Look at our Governors and Mayors. There are literally dozens that should be removed from office due to incompetence and corruption. Look at the policies they enact. They cause more harm than good. Who do they benefit? Certainly not the United States and the majority of its citizens. It isn't just the Democrats. Its both parties.

For months now, my friends who are millennials have struggled to find single-family homes on the market in the suburbs, exurbs and even in rural areas — and when they do, they face daunting bidding wars. Millennials are leaving the city in droves as urban centers like New York and San Francisco see their populations decline. At the same time, the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a housing shortage and skyrocketing prices, with “feeding frenzies” for houses, notably outside major urban centers. Millennials (age 25-40) are part of this dynamic, seeking to make their lives outside of cities and to

Democratic senator Kyrsten Sinema was absent for Friday’s historic vote on a proposed Capitol riot investigation, and she still hasn’t said why. After Republicans blocked a bill to establish a commission investigating the 6 January Capitol attack, Democrats directed most of their anger at the 35 GOP senators who voted against it. But there were also two Democrats who didn’t even show up for the vote: Senator Patty Murray, and Ms Sinema. “She will be entering into the Congressional record that she would've voted yes,” the Arizona senator’s spokesperson, Hannah Hurley, told The Arizona Republic.
