When U.S. Catholic bishops hold their next national meeting in June, they'll be deciding whether to send a tougher-than-ever message to President Joe Biden and other Catholic politicians: Don´t receive Communion if you persist in public advocacy of abortion rights.
At issue is a document that will be prepared for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops by its Committee on Doctrine, with the aim of clarifying the church's stance on an issue that has repeatedly vexed the bishops in recent decades.
It's taken on new urgency now, in the eyes of many bishops, because Biden.... is the first to hold that office while espousing clear-cut support for abortion rights.

It will finally depend on the momentary judgment of each individual priest. Especially if he attends the same church as he always attends.

Saw a video of the Gardai (National Police Force of the REPUBLIC OF IRELAND) entering a church, during a sparsely attended service, and one man could be heard telling the policemen that they had come into a sanctuary - a place of refuge - and did not belong there. Of course, they were told that Covid19 was to blame, not them.
If some of these wimpy bishops do not take a firm stand on principles, what happened in Ireland will happen here. It already has in Canada.

Frankly, it would not be the Catholic Church I would be afraid would excommunicate me or rescind Communion privileges, it would be God himself. You can breeze through life without the blessings of the Catholic Church but you cannot enter the Kingdom of God without knowing Jesus Christ as Savior. While we are told we must not judge lest we be judge. We are also told that we can look at a person’s fruit in order to determine if he is who he says he is. By that criteria, Joe and many others need to take stock and possibly rectify that before it is too late. The harshest words that the Lord ever used while He was on this earth was to the religious crowd. He likened them to whited sepulchers, white on the outside but full of dead men’s bones. God will not be mocked and one day we will all stand before Him to account for our lives here on earth.

What a load of crapola... Bishops don't have to nor should they ask about stopping Communion.... Real leadership on their part demands they forbid any priest form administering communion.

Biden and Pelosi will continue to buy communion from the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church has shown over the years it will sell it's faith for money and power, not unlike many organized religions.

I will believe it when I see it!!!!!! And to this you can add the Pope stopping meeting with Pelosi et al, giving them rosaries, and allowing Press coverage as to what good Catholics they are. I think most of us are pretty disgusted by our Church at this point.

#13’s posts always give me more to think about than what is in the article and he has again today. A priest once told me that when we die we stand before God naked and clothed only in our deeds while on earth. I imagine that Xiden will stand before God draped in the tiny dismembered bodies of millions of aborted children.
The US Catholic Bishops are some of the most gutless religious “leaders” on earth. I wonder if they have thought about what they will be clothed in when they stand before God.

Regardless of what US Catholic bishops do in their meetings, Biden already excommunicated himself long ago (for those of you obsessed with excommunication).
The 1983 Code of Canon Law attaches the penalty of automatic excommunication to anyone who knowingly does or backs something which the Church considers a grave sin, such as abortion.
Receiving the Body of Christ unworthily rains down its own eternal condemnation on the Bidens of the world without political or religious Karens jumping out of the pews with machine guns. God can handle it.

Is "asking him not to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion" the same as "denying him the Sacrament of Holy Communion"? Denying him the Sacrament would be excommunication -- literally.
If the Roman Catholic Church were serious about its beliefs, they would excommunicate this SOB. I wanna know, Your Holiness the Pope, whose soul is more important? Whose life is more important? Is it the life and soul of an innocent unborn child? Or is it the life and soul of an old codger who happens to be POTUS and who is all for chucking that innocent unborn child into an incinerator or allowing his/her body to be chemically destroyed in the womb?
Given the Roman Catholic Church's stand on abortion, why is this even a question for the old coot?!

I pray daily for an increase of sanctity in our priests, that Mother Mariam's Mantle of Protection surrounds our faithful ones, that the wavering, gutless ones can be pulled back from the brink, and that those that have gone to the enemy side are removed. This includes praying for the conversion or removal of Pope Francis the Destroyer. That so many clergy are failing the Church was foreseen by Our Lady at Fatima and Akita, and is explained well in the book Infiltration by Dr. Taylor Marshall. With the decrease in religious orders of nuns and the many laity who have left the Church since the debacle known as Vatican II and the Novus Ordo Mass, there are not enough prayers to protect the clergy from diabolical forces. Please pray the Rosary every day and inform oneself about Fatima, Akita and the vision of Leo XIII.

It's all very simple, really. Since God's standards on murdering infants will never change (hint: He's agin' it), the bishops have two choices: either enforce your standards (presumably the same as God's), or admit that you have no standards.
And they will have chosen the second option, by default, if they do not excom Biden.

Biden don't go to church. Maybe a photo shoot previously. The bishops may ask, but may not ask. Biden may just say no, since they only asked.

Is the Church saying it may?
Or is DM predicting that the forthcoming Church document may?
If the former, then it's probably a trial balloon; if the latter, it's just clickbait.
The Church has passed up numerous opportunities to make an example of an abortion-promoter at the highest level in Botox Nancy; it would be a major surprise if they break away from so much precedent.

Not-my-president Lyin' Joe biden is so far in the late stages of dementia that all he does is read the words his handlers give him, and sign whatever papers they put in front of him. He doesn't understand a word of either.
But he knows if he does what he is told, Jill will say "good boy" and give him extra milk and cookies before nap time!!!
And unless it's for a photo-op, he certainly never sets foot in any church. He wouldn't have a clue what he was there for if he did!!!

Archdiocese Annual Appeal is in progress and donations are down, at least in my parish. Can't help but think this is motivating the Bishops.
