Cheney says she'll campaign on impeaching
Trump 'every day of the week' amid
primary challenges

Rep. Liz Cheney said in an interview with Punchbowl News Thursday that she will stand behind her vote to impeach former President Trump "every day of the week" as she faces multiple primary challengers in her 2022 reelection effort. Cheney, R-Wyo., is the chair of the House Republican conference and has taken heat from many on the right over her vocal condemnation of Trump after the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol by a mob of his followers. That has spurred Trump's wrath in multiple forums and triggered a handful of Republicans to announce primary challenges to her

Comments:

I hope just one candidate will emerge to oppose her rather than a bunch who will cancel each other out.

Hi Liz, I'm a little confused about the math. If you alienate the 74 million voters for Trump and can't get the 81 million votes (alive, dead and manufactured) that Biden pulled in, who is left to vote for you?

She is so stupid that she doesn't realize that her political career is over, that she is dead meat. She actually points to her treasonous impeachment vote with pride. Only a simple-minded idiot would believe that President Trump committed any high crime or misdemeanor for either of the impeachment attempts. The Left, using projection to accuse Trump of the crimes that they had actually committed, tried to "Cancel" Trump out. Only a fool would believe otherwise.

I think what has emboldened Liz Cheney is how the entire weight of the federal government under Biden, as well as the media and major institutions of our country are focused not on conservatives per se but more specifically on the complete marginalization, if not elimination of Trump's MAGA supporters. Given how easily the democrats stole the election with little to no tangible pushback (the Jan 6 capital media trap notwithstanding), GOP opportunists and hard-core leftists perceive political, economic, and kinetic weakness among Trump's most ardent supporters. They no longer fear Trump as a threat to their Marxist transformation of the US. Actually, I believe they never really feared Trump as much as they feared his tens of millions of supporters and what actions Trump may have influenced this large segment of the population to take. The events of the last 6 months have taken that fear off of the table, while at the same time, there is a very tangible fear of all things BLM, which has essentially bastardized rule of law and fuels the virtue signaling RINO collaborators, who revel in Trump's loss of clout after the election. In other words, Liz Cheney and those supporting her, figure Trump's loss is their gain, so she's making like the Vichy French during WWII, who became allies of Nazi Germany. Cheney is advertising her willingness to go along to get along.

WY allows voters to change party affiliation on the day of the vote. She is hoping to form a coalition of democrats who will switch and vote in the primary and the never-Trump crowd. Her other hope is that many Republicans will enter the race to split the vote. Trump has already acknowledged the latter problem and will work to have only one challenger run against her. One or two Republican RINOs may defy Trump in hopes of getting rewarded if they help Cheney win. It's a dirty game about power and money - and Cheney loves both

I once worked in a bank that had thousands of custormers including two well-dressed lesbians. In my time at the bank over several years I had one short conversation with these women about interest rates and CDs. I could not remember their names. In three years I took another position with a different company. Employees gave me a friendly send-off. A senior executive, a brilliant woman, pulled me aside and told me about the lesbians. "They despise you," she said. I did not even know them, yet they hated me. The executive said she could only guess, perhaps an unknown body language or lesbian 'radar' some of sort. Let's hope Liz Chaney does not have this 'radar.'

A Texas Democrat who has been critical of Biden administration policies at the U.S.-Mexico border lashed out this week, accusing the administration of posting misleading photos from a migrant processing facility. U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar accused the Department of Homeland Security of trying to create the impression the facility in Donna, Texas, was emptying out, when in fact the migrant youths who had been located there were simply moved to a nearby location. "All they’re doing is, they’re moving kids from one tent to the other tent and saying, ‘Oh, they’re not in the Border Patrol (custody),’" Cuellar said, according to Border Report.

More than a dozen House Republicans Friday are questioning Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo on whether there "was any political interference" in the final census numbers used to decide how many House members each state will get for the coming decade. The Republican House members cited gaps between the number of House seats some right-leaning states were projected to gain -- or some left-leaning states were projected to lose -- and the final results announced this week.
