GOP Elites Drop Trump! Weakling Kevin McCarthy, the House GOP leader who is afraid of Liz Cheney, and Senator Lindsey Graham spoke with Sean Hannity on Wednesday after Tim Scott’s rebuttal to Joe Biden’s speech. McCarthy immediately pushed Tim Scott for US President following his 15-minute speech. Lindsey Graham urged FOX News viewers to go Tim Scott’s website and donate to his campaign because he is getting attacked tonight. And on Newsmax, Sean Spicer plugged Tim Scott as front-runner for the GOP nomination for president after his speech.Wow!

America is in the trouble it is in now because people voted based on a man's speech not on his ability to govern or his ideology. I liked Scott's speech and the fact that he is a conservative, but I need to know more about his ability to govern. Look what happened to us when they put Clinton and Obama in based on their speeches at the DNC convention. Most people had never heard of them before that. Be careful and do your research.

Donald Trump was not member of the Washington political elite, so the GOP stood aside and let PDJT take all the slings and arrows. Their fear of the cancel culture, and threats to their cushy jobs and lobbyist income, has turned the GOPe now in office to support anyone but Trump, even if it costs them the WH in 2024.

I absolutely love Tim Scott and think he is a class act. With that said, I don't know if he has the gumption to run. Right now, my #1 choice BY FAR in 2024 is Ron DeSantis. I also don't think Trump is going to run again, and if I'm a betting person, (which I'm not), I'd bet that Trump is going to get behind DeSantis.

My son and another friend predicted this exact headline and that the Bush Republicans employed at FNC were ready to lead the charge. None of these things are happenstance.
The GOP now distancing themselves from who is still the rightful President, taking credit for all his historic accomplishments OR refusing to give him honor due for what he did for the unborn and Israel is a mistake of gigantic proportions. They just keep digging the grave.

The GOP doesn’t want to be in the majority - they want to collect cash for wining and pontificating.
Time Scott cannot win the Presidency. He is a conservative black man. His would be “Uncle Tim”, all the time. Besides, if 2020 isn’t fixed, it doesn’t matter who the Republican bloc as run. (Not too mention the many of us who won’t vote for a Republican or Democrat again).

I think the only folks who will be dumped are the ones that try to kick Trump out of the Party. Don't they remember how many people voted for Trump in 2021? Yes, He actually won in a Landslide. They know it and we know it. They are going to be kicked to the Curb while the Trump Train runs right over them. I never did trust McCarthy (who sided with Liz Cheney when she voted to Impeach Trump) or Lindsey Graham who has ALWAYS been a Mealey Mouth, McCain, Bush Lover. He can't be trusted either. If Trump wants to run, he will be backed by the Conservatives in the Party. If he decides not to run, he will back Ron DeSantis with Rallies and money. Either way, Trump is in Charge!

Trump is for America, First. If that's Tim Scott, I don't think he would have many objections... BUT... Tim Scott should be aware, right off the bat, that trusting these two, with anything important, is HUUUUGELY stupid.

All I know is Tim Scott also pushed for police reform while Trump was President. Really doubt we need police reform. What the police need is a quick non-lethal way to take down a perp. The backstabbing Republicans (that includes Lindsey Graham who was all too quick to support Obama) are throwing up any name to derail Trump. Now they are trying to use Tim Scott.
Nope. Nada. No thanks.
We have a 28 trillion dollar federal debt. It will reach 30 trillion. It will most likely reach 40 trillion. We cannot go on like this, and its our career politicians on both sides of the aisle that brought this about. It is long pass time for new blood in Washington. Trump is a good start. Really doubt anyone currently in Washington is the answer.

The times are right for an independent to win. NOBODY believes or trusts either party anymore. The Democrat establishment are all socialist/communist now and there are a good number of Democrat voters who are going to get a belly full of what they're slinging now. And the Republicans are nothing but RINOs, weasels, and self-serving opportunists. A decent candidate who says a pox on both their houses could definitely win.
I doubt very much that Trump would run again. DeSantis certainly looks like a good man, but do you trust ANY of the Republican leadership now? I don't. They'll stab DeSantis in the back too if they get a good enough offer.
Where is the leader this country so desperately needs now?

Let's not get super sensitive about every statement a Republican makes.
McCarthy and Graham are among the least trustworthy Republicans. But mentioning Scott as presidential material is both a way to acknowledge the excellent rebuttal speech Scott gave and to tweak the nose of Democrats who are terrified of an up-from-the- bottom conservative black Republican. To them, Scott is Clarence Thomas.
If Trump runs in 2024, which I doubt, I will be a big supporter. If he doesn't, Republicans have some great Prez and VP candidates. Scott is among them

Every time a Republican gives a rebuttal, we hear "Ooo, ooo, he/she needs to run for president!" The job involves more than reading a prepared speech on a teleprompter. The reason I supported Trump was because he was a man of action, not pretty words.

I am perfectly happy with Trump/De Santis in 2024. De Santis/Scott in 2028 and 2032. And then Scott can have his chance in 2036.

Scott is the latest flavor of the month for the elites. It's still Trump in 2024 (if not 2021, after the vote audits in six states) or De Santis (if Trump decides to sit it out).

Democrats trot out the flavor of the month in order to win. Harris as VP was just that. By running a black man, we take away the Dems ability to claim the GOP is racist. Black men will vote for another black man before they vote for a half black female VP. We need to beat them at their own game. Even if Scott isn't perfect, he's miles away from a Biden administration not worrying about reelection.

Of course they did. Deep down both are Deep Staters. Big Government lovers. The only difference between Ms. Lindsay and McCarthy and the Dems, are the way they boil the frog. Sen. Scott is genuine. Donald Trump is Genuine. Ron DeSantis is genuine.

Scott is okay as a Senator. But being a senator, doesn't qualify you to be president. Just look at Obama and Biden. Do not forget Kerry was nominated and ran.
The media love senators because they a like the media; they are all talk and are not responsible for anything they say or do.

Here's my analysis of Tim Scott:
PDJT helped him get his "Opportunity Zones" off the ground. When Trump needed Scott to stand by him after the election, he stood silent. That's all I need to know.
Fortunately for him PDJT is more forgiving and apparently endorsed him for Senate. Truly don't know what I'll do in Nov. 2022 but I will be paying close attention to him before I vote for him again...

Unless the Republicans start backing whomever the people vote for as the Republican nominee in mass, it will just be a repeat of Trump's first two years in office. We'll have both houses and the White House, but will do nothing with it, because some Rino's don't like something or someone.

Forget 2024. Its too far off to worry about. Lots of things can and will happen between now and then, and anyone we anoint will get a scandal or be destroyed by the communists before then. Besides, the communists still have a society and an economy to ruin, and their Chinese masters to give the country to. Lets hold off on 2024 and get through 2021 first.

This is exactly why, after being a die-hard Republican for most of my 63 years, I became an "independent conservative" after this past November!!!
What we used to call RINO's are now the heart and soul of the Republi-Can't Party!!! So I want no part of being tied to that useless and evil party any more.
Don't get me wrong, I will still gladly vote for solidly conservative candidates that run as Republicans. And I will never ever vote for a Demon-Rat if it meant saving my life!!!! They are all pure evil!!!! But never again will I identify as a Republi-Can't, as they are spineless and impotent as a political party!!!

Republican politicians are the most mealy mouthed good for nothings. I've heard them all repeat the same clap trap since Biden took office. Or better yet. "We need to do this or that." We must do something..." "We need to pass this or that." It's all hogwash. Why didn't they get some male parts before the election. No. Just mealy mouth feces. I don't have much hope for this country. We don't have any politicians who tell us to tell us the consequences I have so many friends who don't know what the heck is going on. Oh but then. They did little to stop election fraud.

GOP needs to win the House, for certain, and the Senate in 2022. As the Speaker of the House does not need to be a House member the GOP needs to put Donald J. Trump in as Speaker. They can impeach Biden/Harris but not sure they will have to votes to convict. But, Trump can run the House and get things done.
