He's part of one of the biggest bands rock bands of the 20th century, having sold over 100 million records worldwide during their illustrious 50 year career. And The Who's Roger Daltry has taken a swipe at today's 'woke generation' as he declared it's 'terrifying' that they are creating a 'miserable world' for themselves. In a new Interview, the lead singer, 77, added that he feels 'privileged' to have grown up in a 'golden era'. Roger had joined band mate Pete Townshend, 75, on Zane Lowe's Apple Music 1, as they celebrated the release of the super deluxe version of their hit third studio album The Who Sell Out'.

Couldn't agree more. Got a delivery today. The young kid driving opened up the cargo doors on the back of the van and Quiet Riot's "Come On Feel The Noize" was playing. I asked why and he said that today's music was terrible. As for Roger, he was proud of the fact that - despite the The Who being a rock band - you can easily understand every lyric in every song. Quadrophenia - absolutely brilliant. "I mean, anyone who's lived a life and you see what they're doing, you just know that it's a route to nowhere." The only spark of hope I get for the future of society is that our parents always said something similar about us.

Looking back at growing up during the optimistic years following WWII and comparing them to now is depressing, to say the least. Our generation grew up in families, went to church and got a top notch education in the public schools. We walked and rode our bikes all around the neighborhood with never a thought of fear. The Saturday matinees found all our friends at the theater to see great movies and quality cartoons. We had freedom, fun and can't remember anyone who was perpetually angry. Lefty politics has reversed those happy days and made everything woke. -Who knows what today's children will find in their future if Big Government manages to take them over from their cradle to their grave. Pray they will choose freedom over tyranny as America's earlier generations always have!!

Remember when Daltry was considered a dangerous influence on youth? He's talkin' bout My G-G-Generation now....and I do hope I die before I get old(er) and see what will happen in the future unless we cancel the media. They spread all this poison for free for the Left.

I'm so proud to have been a Who fan since 1966. Roger (Daltrey) and Pete (Townshend) get it. I wish more would. BTW, Who's Next (1971) is the greatest rock and roll studio album of all time, with the greatest political rock song with the greatest title: "Won't Get Fooled Again." Those were the golden days of rock. I love the Who.

The Ohio Republican Party on Friday passed resolutions censuring U.S. Rep. Anthony Gonzalez and calling on him to resign for voting in January to impeach ex-President Donald Trump. Gonzalez, from Rocky River, is the latest Republican to be rebuked by their state parties for supporting impeachment proceedings against Trump in January. Trump was impeached by the U.S. House for inciting a riot at the U.S. Capitol as President Joe Biden’s electoral victory was being certified, though the Senate did not vote to convict him. One resolution, offered by Shannon Burns of Strongsville, called on Gonzalez to resign, claiming he “betrayed his constituents,” “demonstrated a hidden vendetta against” Trump...

Now, as President Joe Biden is pushing a more than $2 trillion infrastructure plan, with billions going toward green energy, those in the coal industry are concerned about what that could mean for the future of their jobs.

Every spring the Supreme Court seems to find itself in the headlines with consequential rulings on the horizon. This spring is no different. Over the coming weeks, major cases impacting various aspects of American life are poised for rulings. One of the biggest outstanding cases involves the Affordable Care Act. The Supreme Court ruled in 2012 that it was constitutional, but this is a new challenge. This challenge was brought by conservatives who believe the last ruling was only ruled constitutional because the Supreme Court interpreted the law as a tax. Congress has since removed tax penalties from the law and therefore critics believe justices now have grounds to strike down the entire law.

Severe cases of COVID-19 are 2.5 times more likely in men with male-pattern baldness than those retaining a full head of hair, researchers have warned. Male-pattern baldness — or 'androgenetic alopecia' — is a common, genetically-determined form of hair loss that affects around 50 per cent of men aged over 50. [SNIP] Researchers found that male patients with a common biomarker linked to hair loss appeared to be significantly more susceptive to severe coronavirus infections. Specifically, these men were more sensitive to male hormones known as androgens, which is also found in patients with androgenetic alopecia.

President Joe Biden's proclamation of the annual National Day of Prayer failed to include the word 'God', an omission that is drawing criticism from some religious leaders. Biden, a devout Catholic, typically ends his public remarks with the phrase 'May God bless you all, and God protect our troops' - but his proclamation for Thursday's Day of Prayer contained no such acknowledgement of a higher power. 'Prayer has nourished countless souls and powered moral movements — including essential fights against racial injustice, child labor, and infringement on the rights of disabled Americans,' the proclamation read in part.
