Joe Biden clearly hasn't learned a thing from the failed and immoral War on Drugs - a disaster that he played a huge part in creating. The president on Thursday ordered the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ban menthol cigarettes, a plan first reported on Wednesday by the Washington Post. Since it's a regulatory change, Congress has no say in the matter. (Snip) The ban will make menthol a prized commodity, a sought-after product whose artificial scarcity will inevitably drive up its price on non-legal markets. A flavor will now be a crime, making criminals out of people who want
Imagine an Executive Branch that thought its job was to keep the roads paved and the Post Office working, rather than a scolding nag telling us what to eat, drink, or think?

The FIRST thing I'd ban would be burner phones.
Anyone can get an Obamaphone for free.
Burner phones are only used by criminals and politicians. But I repeat myself.

The 50-year-old "War On Drugs" is NOT a failure.
It's just starting to build up steam - - just starting to work. Give it three or four more decades - - and you'll see what a smart idea it is.

If black people smoke a lot of menthol cigarettes and they are banned maybe a few will finally realize that democrats are their nannies, not their friends.

Meanwhile.... the Biden regime’s open border policy is creating a boom for drug cartels and Chinese made fentanyl (the stuff that killed George Floyd) is pouring into democrat urban zones at record levels.

#2, I use a Tracfone, and I believe they are called burner phones. I am not a criminal and I rarely use it, so paying $20 for 3 months is a good deal for me. It is only a plus that the feds cannot track me.

My doctor told me I wasn’t getting enough tar.

Abortion originally was pushed to eliminate black babies. Popular culture dictated education was for whites. Welfare keeps blacks under the control of the government. Drugs have ravished inner cities where mostly minorities live. Bringing in more hispanics lessens the blacks percentage of population and more violence on and by blacks has occurred because of less police. Blacks will now have to turn to unfiltered cigs probably creating more cancer. Hum.. seems to be a pattern against blacks.

Outlawing a product that's mostly used by blacks because he thinks he needs it's best for them. Can you imagine what the press would say if Trump did this?

I do not believe that politicians ever actually do things that result in "unintended consequences," which are then called "unforeseen." Just as the author of the articles says, we can see the consequences plain as day. I'm sure they have a clear intent by doing this. We haven't seen nothin' yet. This will drive blacks crazy when they can no longer get the cigarettes they want. More rioting, more violence, black markets for menthol cigarettes, etc. etc. Then the states crack down even harder because they are losing sales tax. A smoker suddenly deprived of his nicotine tends to get a bit crazy and unpredictable.
Liberals always tell us it's "for the children" or this is for the health and welfare of blacks, but as we all know, leftists hate children and blacks. They murder children by the millions through abortion, keep blacks in poverty and dependence for generations, and constantly stir up racial hatred, class warfare and violence among them. God help us when the government shows up and says "we're here to help." Nobody is safe when congress is in session, or a demoncrat president can sign executive orders or make an adminstrative change such as this.

Step 1 Ban menthol smokes in the USA.
Step 2 Figure out an executive order to ban them in Canada and Mexico because ...
American tobacco companies will still make them for their international customers and ...
Smugglers will take care of their supply chain. Sort of like Cuban cigars (Mr. Clinton).

Ole Joe is just opening up new business opportunities! Many people will experiment to find ways they can treat smokes with extra chemicals to reproduce the menthol flavor. Most likely, many of these treatments will be toxic and kill or cripple the smokers. See? Money making opportunities for entrepreneurial chemical hobbyists, additional patients for the medical community and undertakers and righteous law enforcement opportunities for police. Also, remember that every breathing person on the planet produces about 832 pounds of CO2. For every million people who stop breathing you save close to 380,000 metric tons of carbon spewed into the atmosphere. Yes sir, Ole Joe is shrewd!

Canada has a thriving business in cigarettes... so... order the menthols from Canada... or France... or England...this command by biden is meant to hurt working poor...the Floyd disaster happened because Floyd tried to buy cigarettes with a counterfeit bill and the police were called..the rest is history...so what's the angle...restrict consumption by law so citizens will be pushed back onto the city plantations...dependent on government for monthly checks and coerced to vote for democrats???

This prohibition is the ultimate in systemic racism - he is targeting blacks. So now even more blacks will be arrested, resist arrest and we’ll have more riots. Xiden seems to want a race war but I can’t imagine what he and his cabal think they will accomplish with one.

That criticism also applies to the closure of the pipeline, COVID-stimulus, taxes on the "rich," double masks, the Iranian nuclear deal, reentry in the Paris accords, opening the southern border - everything the brainless, communist traitor has done since January 6th. A government that can control personal behavior (mandating masks and social distancing, banning cigarettes, regulating seating in churches, restaurants and even at picnic tables, confiscating firearms, etc.) is a short step away from creating chronic shortages of everything from gasoline to meat, all ostensibly to promote the greater good by protecting us from ourselves.

Blowback on ban already starting. 'Black' market will mean its a crime to have menthol smokes and so police will be able to arrest those who have them.
