The Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association board has switched its endorsements of Democrat candidates to Republican after one Democrat candidate was purportedly caught on video beating a piñata with the likeness of top police union official Bob Kroll.
Fox News reports:
Minneapolis state house candidate John Thompson stood outside the police union leader’s home and and gave an expletive-laden speech to a crowd of Black Lives Matter demonstrators in August.
“Come on over here with your ‘Blue Lives Matter’ sign,” he said. “Blue lives ain’t s—, and if people in Hugo don’t support black people, f— Hugo.”

Retired judge John Gleeson argued Friday that the Department of Justice (DOJ) should not be allowed to drop charges against former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn because his guilt is “obvious” and the DOJ has become “corrupt.”
Gleeson was appointed by Judge Emmet Sullivan to submit an amicus curiae (“friend of the court”) brief arguing against prosecutors’ motion to drop charges against Michael Flynn after exculpatory evidence emerged following a DOJ review.Sullivan originally sought amicus briefs arguing why he should not find Flynn in criminal contempt of court for changing his original guilty plea, for the crime of lying to the FBI, to a plea of not guilty after exculpatory evidence

My family used to live in Pennsylvania. Bucks County, one of the key counties to winning the state. Just look to any Republican who won statewide, Donald Trump, Tom Corbett, Pat Toomey—they all either won or did well enough in Bucks County. This year, it could be different. For starters, the rural counties in the “T” region of the state should be sky-high again for Trump. You all know how Pennsylvania is described for national elections; Philly, Pittsburgh, and Alabama in between. The old way for the GOP to win the state might not be the game plan this cycle.

One of them is that, like all incumbents, President Trump is seeking reelection on the basis of his record in office. Sacramento, Calif. -- Sixty-four percent of California voters do not want Gov. The survey, conducted by Spry Strategies in conjunction with the Women’s Liberation Front, shows that conservative Christians and radical feminists, who have joined forces to oppose AB 2218, are more in step with California voters than state legislators. The controversial bill passed the Assembly 54-10 and the Senate 28-9 late last month, and now sits on Newsom’s desk awaiting his decision.

CLAIM: The Obama-Biden White House depleted and did not replenish the nation's emergency stockpile of medical supplies, including N95 masks.
Joe Biden is attempting to rewrite history, pretending that he and Obama didn't deplete the nation's stockpile of medical supplies and leave it empty after the pair's eight years together in office. It's the same revisionism they're attempting to do with travel restrictions that President Trump placed on China in the early days of the pandemic. Biden not only opposed those restrictions -- restrictions that even Dr. Fauci credits with saving an untold number of lives -- Biden attacked the restrictions as "racist" and "xenophobic."

The debates may not matter, but if one candidate is going to commit a significant gaffe, it likely would occur in one of televisual spectacles. Brace yourselves.
Both parties already are trying to shape expectations before the debates begin. On that front, Trump and his allies have made a major mistake. For months Americans have been inundated with claims from Trump, his son and countless media allies that Biden suffers from some type of mental deficiency such as dementia.

While on the campaign trail earlier this year, Biden falsely claimed that he never told Obama “don’t go” after bin Laden that day.Biden had the following interaction with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy on Jan. 3, 2020: DOOCY: “And to follow your remarks earlier, as commander-in-chief, if you were ever handed a piece of intelligence that said you could stop an imminent attack on Americans

The year 2020 will not go down in history as anyone’s favorite year. It had something for everyone in terms of the misery factor. Moreover, when I think about the misery inflicted during the year, it was almost entirely from Democrat schemes. That’s why it’s so utterly delightful to watch Biden’s spokesman, TJ Ducklo, squirm, duck, and bob when Bret Baier asks him whether Biden relies on a teleprompter to get through interviews. (snip)To fully appreciate how funny Bret Baier’s interview is, you have to watch some videos showing Biden visibly struggling to read from teleprompters

The excuses being used for destruction of evidence by the Mueller team are about as plausible as a mob accountant purportedly committing suicide by shooting himself in the head three times. The posse of Trump-hating prosecutors that sought and failed to find evidence of “collusion” between Russia and his campaign managed to completely wipe out their text messages – the kind of evidence that revealed the bias and illicit sexual relationship of Lisa Page and Peter Strzok – as well as call records on their government-issued cellphones. We only learned of this yesterday, two years after these public records were demanded by Judicial Watch

In his op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, Walter Olson defends his decision to not vote for Trump four years ago by saying he will double-dog not vote for him this year.
Like every other never-Trumper, the reason is almost entirely personal.
“No modern president has shown so little care for or grasp of how government works … his conduct fell short of what Americans should expect … the lack of impulse control, the vindictive meanness of spirit, the Niagara of lies,” Olson writes.
He hoped Trump would, once in the White House, “put away childish things … and banish

For months now, it’s been clear that Joe Biden has been using a teleprompter for supposedly off-the-cuff campaign interviews and conversations.
In April, when Bernie endorsed Joe Biden, they had a live stream conversation on Periscope where it was clear Biden was reading off a script. Since then there’s been a lot more evidence of Biden reading off a teleprompter, and rather poorly, even during interviews with the media.
While appearing on Fox News on Thursday, Biden’s national press secretary, TJ Ducklo, had an opportunity to go on the record on this issue but refused.
“Does Joe Biden ever use a teleprompter during local interviews or to answer Q&A with supporters?” Baier asked.

A Democrat bureaucrat finally said what we all have known to be the truth: The Wuhan virus limitations that Democrat politicians and bureaucrats have imposed on Americans will go away after the election because that was the plan all along. (snip) "So we don’t realistically anticipate we will be moving to tier 2 or to reopening K-12 schools at least until after the election, after, you know, in early November When we just look at the timing of everything it seems to us the more realistic approach to this would be (snip) after we are done with the election."

Earlier this week Joe Biden got a strange endorsement, a blast from the past. It came from Anita Hill, the law professor whose sensational allegations against Clarence Thomas during his confirmation hearings in 1991 riveted the nation and humiliated Thomas, forever tarnishing his character and reputation. Those hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee were chaired by Sen. Joe Biden.
Hill’s endorsement for old Joe in 2020 was one that Biden and the Left coveted. She offered it despite her “objections” and his “mistakes.”

In 2017, the New York Times ran an editorial claiming that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was connected to, and even incited the 2011 shooting that killed six people and wounded Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. Palin is now suing the paper of record for defamation, and discovery documents obtained by The Columbia Journalism Review (CJR) reveal how chaos and editorial negligence played out in the Times’s newsroom.
The editorial titled, “America’s Lethal Politics,” first penned by Elizabeth Willaimson on the congressional baseball practice shooting in Arlington, Virginia, was reportedly submitted right before 5 p.m. but required extra editing from The Times’s editorial page editor James Bennet.

After a dismal June and July, President Trump found his campaign sea legs in mid-August. The political winds are now trending in Trump’s favor, and the polls are tightening to the president’s benefit in a handful of battleground states that will decide this election.
Don’t tell that to the Democrats and Biden campaign surrogates and those masquerading as political journalists who want to convince you that the race is over and has been for some time. Trump supporters and Republican-leaning voters shouldn’t fall for the doom-and-gloom poison being churned out by the national media daily. There are plenty of indicators that Trump can and will win in November.

Pandemic be damned: America’s 400 richest are worth a record $3.2 trillion, up $240 billion from a year ago, aided by a stock market that has defied the virus. Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos, worth $179 billion, is number one for the third year in a row, followed by Bill Gates at number two. It still takes at least $2.1 billion, unchanged for the past three years, to make the cut. Even in these trying times mega-fortunes are still being minted.

During the urban unrest that followed the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis in police custody in May, I told a friend from high school that I disapproved of the riots. “So do I,” he said. “But just so you know, if this had been happening when we were in high school, we’d be out there breaking things, too.”
He reminded me of a story from when we were teenagers. It’s 2007. “Where’s Seth?” I ask, looking through the fridge for another Keystone Light.
“He’s sleeping in his room. He has work tomorrow,” my friend Josh replies.
Seth is our friend. He works at a grocery store.

Former Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann fired back Thursday at an ACLU associate and a college professor who warned that he was “dangerous” and a “provocateur” and should be watched closely when he begins his freshman year at Kentucky’s Transylvania University, telling the pair that he is a “pro-life conservative Republican college student who won’t let cancel culture silence me” in a Fox News op-ed.
On Wednesday, The Daily Wire reported that Sandmann was the target of a two-pronged attack that began when a graduate of Transylvania University, who became an associate attorney for the ACLU, warned that Sandmann’s presence at the school was a “bit of a stain”

Barack Obama, the Left’s erstwhile patron saint, appears to have taken his deputy Rahm Emanuel’s advice to heart: “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” On Wednesday, Obama rushed to blame climate change for the wildfires ravaging the West Coast, insisting that Californians’ “lives” depend on Joe Biden beating Donald Trump in November. As usual, Obama has the entire situation backward: Climate change isn’t the culprit behind the infernos, poor forest management is — and the climate regulations Obama champions have prevented the controlled burns necessary for keeping the fires in check.

“I don’t know what happened to Jon,” Jane Fonda told Howard Stern about Jon Voight in a Wednesday interview. “We were pretty close. He was my best friend among Hollywood people. We won Academy Awards together for Coming Home.”
But now, because the star of Midnight Cowboy, Deliverance, and The Champ sees the world through a new lens, Fonda rules out the possibility of any friendship. “I couldn’t, no,” she says of holding a friendship with someone who holds very different political views. “I couldn’t.” “He changed into an extreme right-winger,” which she called “very sad.” Others who recall the half-century friendship between the liberal Democrat Henry Fonda

California has become a third world country, in which electricity works only intermittently. Why is that? Because California relies on wind and solar energy, which produce electricity only intermittently. It isn’t hard to figure out, and yet there are some states, like mine, Minnesota, which seem determined to follow California’s downward path to third-world status. Why? Well, for some people there is a lot of money in it.
California’s energy problems are compounded by its irrational forest management policies, which have led, inevitably, to forest fires.

Amid a pandemic, economic woes and a raging campaign season, as well as nationwide and too-often-violent protests, New Yorkers, and all Americans, should still take the time Friday to mark the 9/11 anniversary. The events of 19 years ago remain of seminal importance — and the sacrifices and heroism deserve honoring.
On that day in 2001, Gothamites were also preoccupied — headed to the polls for the mayoral primary. Then the planes started hitting.
One hit the North Tower, and newsies rushed to cover what seemed an accident. Then came the strike on the South Tower — and a nation realized it was under attack.

As president of Unite Here International, Donald “D.” Taylor watched helplessly as the coronavirus outbreak put 98 percent of his union out of work.
Before the pandemic, Unite Here was growing by leaps and bounds, and its political clout with it. The union’s Nevada chapter parlayed its 60,000 casino workers into a hot streak of Democratic electoral wins in recent years, taking control of the governor’s mansion and the state Legislature, plus a pair of U.S. senators.
But with 80 percent of his 307,000 members in the hard-hit hospitality and entertainment sectors still out of work and not paying dues, Taylor had to lay off organizers and force early retirements —

A new video montage from The Washington Free Beacon shows how easy the questions Joe Biden receives from the media truly are.
Free Beacon senior writer and "video guy" David Rutz put together a sampling of the rather simplistic line of questioning the Democratic candidate has received in recent weeks.
"Really, your strength is in traveling around the country and connecting with people... you can't do any of that right now. Mr. Vice President, does that worry you?" CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin is seen asking Biden at the beginning of the interview

More than 15 phones belonging to the investigative team of then-Special Counsel Robert Mueller were 'wiped' for a variety of reasons, according to recently released documents from the Department of Justice. Phones were wiped of information because of forgotten passcodes, irreversible screen damage, loss of the device, intentional deletion or other reasons - coming before the Office of Inspector General (OIG) had a chance to review the devices. The documents were released after a lawsuit from the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, Fox News reports.

In response to a statement that California had implemented the 1619 Project in public schools, President Trump tweeted Sunday: “Department of Education is looking at this. If so, they will not be funded!” That is welcome news, as the 1619 Project is an elaborate and much-lauded (Pulitzer Prize-winning, in fact) exercise in historical; according to political science professor Peter C. Myers, it is “animated by the same conviction that animates BLM and the rioters: America is and always has been a racist tyranny, and there can be no black liberation absent its radical transformation, by any means necessary.” The general acceptance of this propaganda today makes it vitally important
