President Donald Trump’s policy excluding undocumented immigrants from census data violates the law, a panel of federal judges ruled, blocking it from taking effect.
Three judges in Manhattan on Thursday ruled that Congress hadn’t given the president authority for the policy. The case, brought by several states including New York and advocacy groups, is notable because census results are used to determine representation in the House of Representatives and to allocate federal funds.Throughout the nation’s history, the figures used to determine the apportionment of Congress -- in the language of the current statutes, the ‘total population’ and the ‘whole number of persons’ in each state -- have included every person residing

This is 100% proof that the Democrats are colluding with foreigners to sway our elections.

Since there is no Constitutional authority for
the courts to interpret law, nor any enforcement authority,
why should the President or Congress comply with
the opinion of judges. Courts do not render decisions
only opinions, opinions ain't law.

Anyone with sense (of course that excludes "liberals") would understand that using illegals to determine representation in Congress and apportionment of funds should not be done. They are not citizens; and the use of them disenfranchise the rest of us.

Without illegal aliens, california would probably have fewer than 50 electoral votes. Ive estimated that we have 14 or more congressional represenatives representing illegals. 11 million divided by 750,000.
Thats why the democrats want them counted. More house seats and electoral votes for sanctuary states.

If you are here as a visitor, you are not counted, as you are not “residing” in the US. The argument can and should be made that folks without status for residency are not residing in the us.

The census is supposed to determine representation in the Congress of Citizens. Not illegal aliens.

The matter of numbers of illegal aliens sojourning in certain States influencing the location of Congressional seats has to be appealed up to the US Supreme Court for a definitive opinion. Common sense will tell you that it is nuts to allow a silent invasion of illegal aliens to decide where US Congressional seats are moved to and located.

I don't understand. How is citizenship to be determined from the census? I'm a census enumerator and no where in my list of questions do I ask if the person is a legal or an illegal Immigrant. Also, when I went on line that to do my census, I don't recall a citizenship question.

If they are undocumented, then they aren't immigrants, they are illegal alien invaders.
Immigrants are by definition, Documented

Yes #5, it is being appealed, but with that idiot Roberts on the Court, it will probably not be reversed.
