Earlier this summer, James Bennet, editorial page editor of The New York Times, resigned from his post after internal and public outcry over his decision to allow an op-ed by sitting U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton arguing for military intervention as a response to the recent riots.(Snip)This past week, one of National Public Radio’s most popular shows, “Code Switch,” gave a microphone to Vicky Osterweil, author of the “In Defense of Looting,” a book that argues precisely what it sounds like it’s arguing. Now, Code Switch’s tag line is “Race. In Your Face,” and in their “About” portion of their website note the following:

I listened to an NPR interview last weekend. I turned it off halfway thru to lower my blood pressure. The interviewee was an "expert" on facism. He started out making statements thst were patently and demonstrably false. He then went on, with no pushback whatsoever, to imply that Trump and his supporters are facists. The Feds going in to breakup peaceful protests, the President wont leave office, we are all racists and my personal favorite, the Trump cult of personality.

End federal funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which is who funds the shows on both NPR and PBS. Leftists would lose their minds if there was a any other private corporation that was funded with tax dollars. Cut the head off the snake.

In a mood for American jazz two nights ago, I turned my radio upstairs to public radio and was enjoying tenor saxophone great Sonny Rollins--now 90 years old--from his classic 1957 album Way Out West. But it was NPR, and the news had to break into the program from time to time. Then I had to listen to Fake News and left slanted propaganda, quite insulting to those of us who take the time to know what's actually happening in this Nation. Within 45 minutes I had had enough and had silenced the radio. Music good, leftist politics bad. Corporation for Public Broadcasting should be unloaded from the federal budget. I'll just listen to my own jazz collection from now on.

It is tragic indeed that NPR has been allowed to establish itself in many universities throughout this country, saturating the socialist agenda not so subtly into America's youths. The complaints about political bias and even indoctrination by tax funded npr/pbs have long been ignored by the U.S. Congress. Public Broadcasting was first presented to the public as a venue to bring the arts to everyone but in the decades since has morphed into a microphone for the radical lefties in the dem Party. It is way past time for public broadcasting's abuse of its authority to be totally defunded.

There are some areas in the nation that do NOT have local radio stations. When such an area is identified, and a potential operator asks for a license from the FCC, the word is out, and the matter is handled by selecting the potential owner who would get the license. Q: Guess who gets the license preference. A: NPR.

The death of Harry Dunn, an English teenager who was killed on August 27 2019, sparked a “bitter diplomatic row” between Great Britain and the United States. At the center of this row is the concept of “diplomatic immunity.” While riding his motorcycle, Dunn was killed in a head on collision with an SUV near RAF Croughton, a military base used by the U.S. Air Force. British police identified the driver as Anne Sacoolas — the wife of an American diplomat — and said that she was driving “on the wrong side of the road” when the collision occurred. The Arkansas Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that Democrat Jimmie Wilson is ineligible to serve in the state Legislature due to decades-old misdemeanor convictions in federal court, wiping out Wilson's victory at the polls earlier this month in House District 12. Wilson, a former state lawmaker who was convicted of selling mortgaged crops and illegal use of farm loans, had argued that a pardon he received from President Bill Clinton in 2001 removed any barriers to his potential return to the Legislature. Running against Republican David Tollett, Wilson received more than 52% of the vote in the Nov. 3 election. A unanimous decision by the high court, however, held that the pardon

It’s hard to believe we’ve already arrived at Thanksgiving week in this crazy and tumultuous political year. That means it’s time for my annual list of the biggest turkeys in politics. The 2020 list doesn’t just rank not-ready-for-prime-time candidates, but also the institutions and strategies that didn’t live up to expectations. This year’s lineup most fowl includes a deep-pocketed presidential candidate, well-funded Senate candidates, ideologically-out-of-step Democratic recruits, and an appointed GOP senator who lost two straight elections in a traditionally Republican state. 1. The Trump campaign's top lawyers -- Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis -- went into the weekend on the offense. On Thursday they held a news conference vowing to prove the existence of a far-ranging conspiracy to defeat the president. They were pressing a case alleging unfair voting practices in Pennsylvania. They were predicting victory. By Sunday night, everything had changed. A judge threw out the Pennsylvania case. Trump needs to have overwhelming evidence of election fraud, and he needs to bring that evidence to light in very public hearings. Without such evidence, his claims won’t be taken seriously enough—by the press or a sufficient number of the electorate—to ensure a peaceful transition to a second term. The rush job to affirm Biden as president-elect by the media and the Democrat Party is not constitutionally required, and indeed smacks of a kind of desperation to avoid scrutiny. Contrary to their claims, Trump’s thorough investigation of potential large-scale election fraud is fully in accord with the Constitution. As the one in whom executive power is vested,

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
