Federal prosecutor Nora Dannehy, a top aide to U.S. Attorney John H. Durham in his Russia investigation, has quietly resigned - at least partly out of concern that the investigative team is being pressed for political reasons to produce a report before its work is done, colleagues said.Dannehy, a highly regarded prosecutor who has worked with or for Durham for decades, informed colleagues in the U.S. Attorney’s office in New Haven of her resignation from the Department of Justice by email Thursday evening. The short email was a brief farewell message and said nothing about political pressure, her work for Durham or what the Durham team has produced, according to

Pretty obvious that Dannehy was putting her political leftism ahead of rule of law. Shame on you, Dannehy.

Can one assume she is actually a member of the dem or the commie party??? Perhaps Durham found out that she was dragging the work out or did she hide important findings??? Whatever. She won't be missed!!!

the democrat machine got to her, too. wonder what they promised her to turn on Mr. Durham. she will learn a hard lesson because the democrats eat their own rather than have their endeavor fail.

We are aggravated and suspicious because the investigations have been corrupt and/or have taken far too long while political enemies use ambiguities flowing from uncertainties encased in vagaries construed to obfuscate the facts and thwart the smooth operation of the Trump Administration. The successes of President Trump are all the more astounding, given the obstacles thrown at him beginning with the day of his election, as he tried to set up his Cabinet, and on from there.
I don't blame all of his problems on the travesty of false accusations, he can be his own worst enemy. He thinks he can win over political adversaries: no! they are a different animal. Political enemies want to crush and destroy, especially when the Clintons are involved.
In other words, leftist, ideologue Democrat lawyers are like sludge in the judicial system pipes, especially those running along the DC-NY corridor.
And meanwhile, President Trump has suffered under unjust accusations by the likes of Schiff-Pelosi et al in and out of government, as he works for the people of the United States. This has enabled people who hate him to use suspicion to taint his Administration. Early on in the Mueller investigation it was clear that there was no collusion with Russia, and yet the Report's release was delayed and delayed in order to get past the mid-terms (just who had enough clout to get that acquiescence?), and allow the House to fall to the Dems which would provide the conditions for filing (vacuous) impeachable offenses, which Pelosi finally exulted in filing, using another fraudulent concoction of lies.
These are some of the reasons for our outrage and impatience. and why Dannehy's discomfort is of little concern.

Understand, this is war. She may be a victim, as easily as a plant. Depends on whether the carrot or stick was applied. While I have my doubts about any long-term political operative, We should apply pressure, not denigrate operators. Make them understand what we want.
For all we know, Barr and Durham have theri ducks in a row, but know that the evidence is useless if Trump loses. The Democrats have hit us often enough with October surprises. Next month, if they reveal lawsuits and perp walk the guilty - associates of Biden, and perhaps Biden himself, along with the Clintons...
Well, one can dream.
At this point, Barr and his people are either an asset or just another disappointing piece of crap. There's nothing that can be done about it, till we see what the election brings. Just let Barr know what you expect, and hope he delivers.

So far, that investigation has been tight as a drum. Just hope it remains so, or we'll know where the "leak" is coming from.
Who knows, maybe she suddenly had a conflict of interest, and realized her pension was waiting for her.

Typical 2020 journalist ... from headline to this ... as the basis for the whole article...
“””But Durham associates, none of whom have specific knowledge of the investigation, have said recently that it is THEIR BELIEF he is under pressure to produce something — perhaps some sort of report — before the presidential election in November.”””

My post disappeared. Anyhow, I would hope Durham is being pressured, He certainly should be, He was suppose to get a report out and it sounds like he isn't going to have it done. What is taking so long that all we have to look forward to is a report, not indictments and arrests. This is ridiculous the whole world knows what happened, they know every players and all the details and all the documents. If all he has is a report he could have tapped CTH and Fitton for help and they would have buried him in evidence, timelines, players, connections, all of it. It's probably taking him so long because is trying to figure out how he can use their material without running afoul of the plagiarism laws.

From Mark Wauck:
UPDATE 2: I highly recommend SWC's tweets on why Dannehy might have left. Basically, he goes over her career, figures she may not actually have tried any cases since around 2010, is around 60 years old, and may simply not feel up to putting in what he figures would be 18-24 months minimum taking a case to completion--taking appeals into account. She may have a good earning private gig lined up and can put in a few years doing that before retiring.
