Ten suspected cartel gunmen and four police were killed during a daytime shootout on Saturday in a Mexican town near the U.S. border, days after U.S. President Donald Trump raised bilateral tensions by saying he would designate the gangs as terrorists.
The government of the northern state of Coahuila said state police clashed with a group of heavily armed gunmen riding in pickup trucks in the small town of Villa Union, about 65 km southwest of the border city of Piedras Negras. Nine people were killed and three others injured Saturday afternoon after a plane crashed in southern South Dakota, authorities said.
The Pilatus PC-12 had 12 people on board when it crashed near Chamberlain -- about 180 miles west of Sioux Falls -- shortly after takeoff, Peter Knudson of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) told the Sioux Falls Argus Leader.
Three people were reportedly injured. Among the dead were the pilot and two children, Sioux Fall’s KELO-TV reported. The Pilatus website states that the PC-12 can carry up to 10 passengers and is flown by one pilot.

Dutch police have arrested a homeless man and brought him in for questioning, suspecting that he was behind the stabbing of three teens in The Hague, Netherlands, during Black Friday shopping.
Dutch police haven't released the 35-year-old man's identity, and the motive for the stabbing remains unknown.
“We are keeping all scenarios open,” a statement from police said.
The stabbing occurred around 7:45 p.m. in an area teeming with shoppers and close to the city’s most popular nightlife centers.
The three victims -- two 15-year-old girls and a 13-year-old boy -- have spoken to detectives and were released from the hospital late Friday.

Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee are calling for the panel to expand its list of witnesses ahead of the Dec. 4 hearing it will hold in the House’s impeachment investigation into President Trump.
Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.), the ranking member of the judiciary panel, sent a letter to Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.). demanding that he expand the panel beyond the four constitutional law scholars from whom the committee plans to hear.
“To ensure fairness and restore integrity to the ongoing impeachment process, I request an expanded panel and a balanced composition of academic witnesses to opine on the subject matter at issue during the hearing,” he wrote.

On Friday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Rep. Friday on Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Hoover Institution senior fellow Victor Davis Hanson criticized the reasoning behind a Democratic push to impeach President Donald Trump.

Whodathunk it? President Trump's little laser pointer trick on the press, posting a Photoshop of himself as "Rocky" to tweak those pompous clowns, had a knock-on effect 8,140 miles away.
As President Trump flew overhead to Afghanistan to cheer the U.S. troops there, Hong Kong's locals waved the "Rocky" picture as their own emblem of victory, identifying easily with Trump's fighter image.
They also waved thousands of American flags and sang The Star-Spangled Banner, too, in what was billed as a Thanksgiving for America rally.

One of them went over to Slettehaugh and grabbed his hair, the report said.

For the U.S. troops abroad, President Trump made a major personal sacrifice by skipping his own Thanksgiving in order to surprise them by helping to serve them theirs. Under cover of secrecy, he flew nearly 7,000 miles, met with them, praised and cheered them, took selfies with them, served them in the chow line, and generally gave the brave fighting men and women in the world's most forlorn hellhole something to smile about. It was a lovely presidential gesture, well in keeping with past presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, who also made holiday trips to cheer the troops.

When she launched her campaign with a rally in Oakland, I was worried about the organizational capabilities that brought a claimed 20,000 people to downtown Oakland to cheer her on toward the White House. A woman who began her political career by sexually servicing a decades’ older powerful male politician who bestowed public office on her should not get anywhere near the Oval Office as its tenant.
"Unconventional" describes Trump from the beginning. Trump is a real estate tycoon with TV celebrity status but no official political experience in running for or serving in local or state government. With his celebrity status, charismatic personality, demeanor, organizational skill, oratorical skill, and personal wealth he miraculously managed to win an election and became president of the United States against all odds.

An Oklahoma police chief says an officer bought Starbucks for 911 dispatchers working on Thanksgiving only to find that the word “PIG” was printed on the cups’ labels.

For many on the left, the Trump impeachment has been as much and as passionate the dream of three years as was the Zionist Dream of 2,000 Years (“Hatikvah”) for Jews to return as a free people back to the Biblical land from which the Romans had banished Jewish life. The Washington Post dreamed of impeachment immediately — from Day One on January 20, 2017. Rep. Al Green never stopped pushing for it.
