Friday on Fox News Channel’s “The Story,” Hoover Institution senior fellow Victor Davis Hanson criticized the reasoning behind a Democratic push to impeach President Donald Trump. He referred to the congressional Democrats’ allegations as crimes of “thought.” “It’s not against the law, at least it wasn’t under the U.S. Constitution, to think something,” he explained. “If I want to think about speeding at 80 miles per hour and I talk about thinking about it, but I actually don’t, I’m not guilty of anything other than harboring bad thoughts.” “Trump may or may not,” Hanson continued. “We don’t really know. The evidence suggests he didn’t think about delaying aid, and that aid was delayed.

Well the leftist and liberal Democrats also want to impeach President Trump for bad behavior that took place during White House deliberations, including arguments and disagreements that the Democrats claim took place between the President, and his close advisors and aides, as serious issues were being decided, regardless of the outcome of those deliberations, that were based upon the discretionary final decisions made by the President in accordance with his constitutional prerogatives. No President in the entire history of the USA has ever been held to such a standard by the Congress. You have to ask where were such Congressional Democrats back during the President Lyndon Johnson era, when Johnson would call Oval Office meetings to a short recess, as he stepped out into the Rose Garden and urinated? I forgot Johnson was a Democrat so he automatically would have been given a pass.

It goes deeper. They are attempting to impeach Trump for being not them. The voters selected someone that they don't like and who is making them look stupid and incompetent and they are using their 2018 election win in the House to do EVERYTHING they can get away with to impede and remove Trump. This has nothing to do with governing or law or even politics. This is pure viciousness and hatred being expressed. Unfortunately, as John Adams said, "Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." and the dems are neither moral or religious and it's about time that we realized it. We are in a bare knuckled brawl and we need to come to the fight ready to get roughed up a bit and give better than we get. If this Country matters to us, this is what it will take.

Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) is one of the few Democrats who aren’t insane. Yes, that club has lost a lot of members since 2016. She’s still a liberal Democrat, but she’s not nuts. For days on end, even Trump news was booted from the top of the network evening newscasts by dire warnings of the “triple storm danger” heading across the country and the “holiday travel nightmare” likely to result. As one can readily see, Hillary Clinton has been unable to recover from having lost the 2016 presidential election -- a self-inflicted wound that she will never cop to. Or, possibly, an act of divine intervention. She has come up with well over a dozen reasons for her defeat -- every one but the real one, i.e. she is a loser -- not just a sore loser, but a total loser. She is incredibly incompetent, fundamentally dishonest, and criminally corrupt, and these are her good qualities. Buckingham Palace has been decontaminated. Prince Andrew’s office has been closed down. Any chair he sat in has been reupholstered, all doorknobs swabbed down. Let’s not even talk about the bathrooms. I can’t remember a time when the royal family’s damage control was so swift and absolute. Priests are excommunicated with less haste and more mercy than Andrew in the wake of his disastrous BBC Epstein-related interview, and its ever-cascading fallout. But I detect the odor of scapegoating and hypocrisy in the decisive role that Prince Charles has played in this purge against his brother.
