On Sunday, outgoing Secretary of Energy Rick Perry told Fox News viewers about a recent conversation he'd had with Donald Trump in which he told the president he was "the chosen one" placed by God in the White House. Perry made sure to add that he had given Trump a "one pager" on the imperfect Old Testament kings who God had appointed to carry out his plans. "Don't get confused here, sir," Perry claims he said to the president. "This is not a reflection that you're perfect, but that God's using you."
As liberals predictably freaked out over Perry's words, other Trump backers quickly confirmed that,

I think this is true. Not one of the other 17 (?) candidates could have done what he has with the economy and calling out the MSM and deep state, and many other things. God has to be the wind at his back to keep him going every day, facing what he and his family face every day. God knew what this country needed and provided. I pray for the safety of PDJT and his family daily.

What a pathetic column written by someone who didn't understand what Perry and others were saying at all. And to continue to shovel the BS that Trump acts as dictator is beyond stupid. Only a nitwit would look at regulations removed and TRump refusing to issue executive orders and telling Congress to do their job and write legislation as somehow dictatorial. Only a complete nitwit would twist the words of a man saying some women would do anything to get ahead to somehow accuse him of assault. Only an utter nitwit would not understand that evangelicals understand that none of us are perfect and to think otherwise and think you can find a perfect man to lead you is just plain foolish.
We are all imperfect. I think of President Trump as Michael, no not the one portrayed in the Bible, but the one portrayed by John Travolta in the movie of the same name, flawed, but a servant of God who loves humans and wants the best for us. President Trump really loves America, I think it is what the left hates most about him. He understands we are not perfect but we are a darn sight better than anything else on the planet regardless. If we were not, the battle to keep throngs of people from overrunning our borders would not be necessary. At last count 155 million people said they would like to come here. Let that sink in you leftist loons. 155 million.
President Trump is not a saint and he may be a sinner but we are all sinners and if you don't see your own flaws and can only concentrate on his, perhaps you need a better mirror.
God has been good to this country and we know it. People point to empty pews in churches but I point to polls that say that 90% of us believe in God and sometimes you don't have to be in a building to communicate with Him. The loudest 10% get the attention of the left but the silent majority will sing out on election day. And when they sing the world hears us. The world heard us in SHOCK in Nov of 2016, but they will hear us in AWE in Nov of 2020.

The First Paragraph was all I read. It summed up my opinion better than I could myself!
God gives us the Leader we deserve...and He often works through the unexpected!

Rick Perry is a suck up only to be outdone by Roberto O'Rourquez. He's just angling for a new job.

I know that President Trump was chosen by God for this specific time in history since I believe He wants to expose and end all the corruption we've known about for decades. In the same way He chose Hussein for another purpose...... through him enough people finally got thoroughly fed up with the direction this country was taking. Would we have Donald Trump now if we had not had Hussein then?? I'm not so sure.
And while people are leaving their churches they are not leaving God. Churches these days are run like businesses and many pastors act more like CEOs than shepherds of their flocks. Many of them have sold themselves to the Government. Do a search on "clergy response teams" to find out what thousands of pastors have signed up to do against their own congregations.
Additionally (although I hope this is not true) 30,000 guillotines and a half million coffins have been found. One of the pastors involved blew the whistle on the others. Seems this is a brainchild of DHS.
Why would guillotines and coffins be needed?? I'm thinking that President Hillary would have made liberal use of that equipment and 3 years into her term of office some of us would be in FEMA camps or - as they will be called - community centers. Those of us who are most recalcitrant would be meeting Mr. Guillotine.
Finding information like this makes me so thankful to God that he spared us from that horror. Every single day since our President was elected I have thanked Him for the miracle He did for us. I expect I'm not the only one.

The author holds an A.B. from Duke University and a Ph.D. in history from Columbia University, but no indication of attending or graduating from a Christian seminary yet presumes to be an âauthorityâ on religion--some might describe him as a hypocrite. He judges and lambastes President Trumpâs morality and denigrates âwhite evangelicalsâ when Scripture makes clear âmanâ is not to judge (Matthew 7:1-5). He mocks President Trump being âchosen by Godâ when Scripture makes clear that God selects heads of nations (Haggai 2:20-23; 1 Chronicles 14:2; Daniel 2:21, 4:17; Romans 13:1-2; Revelation 1:4-5); further, God will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7-8).
Without the time to provide a point-to-point reality check addressing the judgmental, malicious, vicious attacks made in the article, which is a nasty piece of work, suffice it to say that people in their âright mindsâand hearts,â with sincere reverence for God, would not very likely be so judgmental, malicious, vicious. The article is misguided, dishonest, despicable, shameful.

#3,#6- Simply as informational, through the years, three clergymen have explained that God does select heads of nations; however, sometimes God give people the person they want, instead of the person they need, and that makes a significant difference in understanding leaders of nations who harm their people instead of caring for their people. When God gives people the person they want instead of the person they need, it is for people to learn from their mistakes. As always, prayers are offered for Godâs will, not our will.
