Actor Robert Redford Loses It:
'A Dictator-Like Attack by Trump

It's always entertaining when famous actors or singers think that we -- normal people -- are curious to know their political views. I mean, we all know that members of Hollywood are generally radically liberal. If they take a political position, it's going to be in favor of abortion, against "climate change," or -- of course -- passionately anti-Trump. Case in point, this op-ed written by actor Robert Redford for NBC News. "We’re up against a crisis I never thought I’d see in my lifetime." Namely: "A dictator-like attack by President Donald Trump on everything this country stands for. As last week’s impeachment hearings made clear, our shared tolerance

What the hell is he talking about? Trump doesn’t get anything he wants from Congress. To whom is he dictating? And what does he think America “stands for“?

Redford lives in a self-reinforcing bubble, like all his Hollywood friends. Bobby, isn't it ironic that you've benefitted so much from this country, when all you've done is play pretend in front of cameras in pictures that others have bankrolled? Oh, and you run the Sundance film festivals. You certainly rub elbows with the common folk there! Elitist idiot.

I’ve been receiving his Sundance catalog in the mail for decades. I’ve never purchased a single item, yet they keep arriving in my mail box. The trees! The trees! Aren’t his catalogs contributing to destroying the planet?

Redford looks like an ancient mummy from the 3rd dynasty who escaped from one of those glass coffins on display in the Egyptian wing of a museum and immediately headed for a hair salon and got a very bad hair dye job. Watching this dwarf's acting on the big screen has been the same as watching paint dry. Another one of these very wealthy Hollywood hypocrites who got theirs and now want to take what we have. Fortunately his shelf life on this planet is about to expire.

Evidently, the very notion of "what America stands for" can only be defined by ultra-liberal socialists who DO NOT TOLERATE the dissenting views of other AMERICANS... Redford id free to express his views, but so is everyone else under the 1st Amendment-- Those who want to TAKE AWAY that right in favor of their own perceptions BY THE FORCE OF GOVERNMENT are UN-AMERICAN

Words from a one dimensional actor. If you've seen Redford in one movie then you've seen him act the same in all. Acting with Barbara Streisand in The Way We Were her dumbness political soundings must have rubbed off on him or maybe not. Just more garbage from a Hollywood crapweasel who cares.

Redford, like other liberals, lives in his own head, with a loose association at best with reality, the reality the rest of us live in. It is no accident that so many in show business are this way. They earn their money by pretending to be someone else, inhabiting make-believe worlds. And when anything occurs (like nationalism or Trump or blexit) that doesn't comport with their made-up worlds, they lash out, opposing it with made-up accusations and made-up labels to do battle with their made-up villain. Earth to Redford: wake up and look around, and I don't mean on your ranch. Take a drive through the small towns and small cities in the midwest, mile after mile, town after town, state after state, where the people live who have supported you financially your entire life. Drive past the abandoned factories and empty, grass covered blocks where nice little houses once were, past the closed stores and derelict buildings. Then come back, and we'll talk.

The hat is styled to look like a "Make America Great Again" hat that supporters of President Donald Trump wear. "People were just coming up to me and, you know, just loving the little word play on the hat and taking pictures and wishing me happy birthday," Sprague told News4. However, one woman at the bar was not as amused.

MANCHESTER, NH -- Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont narrowly edged former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg to claim victory in New Hampshire's Democratic presidential primary. But the biggest winner in Tuesday's contest - the first primary in the White House race - may well be Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, who came in a strong third. Klobuchar finished far ahead of Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and former Vice President Joe Biden, who are limping out of New Hampshire facing serious questions about the future of their campaigns. "We love you New Hampshire," Klobuchar stressed in her primary night speech. "Because of you, we are taking this campaign to Nevada.

California Rep. Eric Swalwell said on Wednesday that Democrats may consider another go at removing President Trump from office, this time for the Justice Department intervening in Roger Stone’s court case.CNN host Jake Tapper asked Swalwell whether House Democrats might consider impeaching Trump for ostensibly aiding the longtime Republican operative, who was convicted of obstruction, witness tampering, and lying to Congress last year. Prosecutors initially sought a sentence of up to nine years in prison, but the Justice Department stepped in and said it would pursue a lesser penalty for Stone."We’re not going to take our options off the table.

Republican Devin Nunes warned that the layers of lies have unraveled in the putrid onion that was Robert Mueller’s investigation of the failed Russia-collusion hoax. Congressman Nunes told Fox Business host Lou Dobbs that Americans will soon learn the disturbing depths of deceit and corruption perpetrated by the Mueller team to promote the Russia-collusion hoax. “The lawyers that stepped aside today who made the seven-to-nine-year recommendation [against Roger Stone] — we believe that this is not going to be the only example,” Nunes said. He continued: “There’s other examples of things they did during the Mueller investigation that the American people will be very interested to learn in the coming weeks,

Billions of locusts are swarming across East Africa, eating everything in sight and threatening to cause starvation in a region already affected by extreme hunger. The United Nations says the region “simply cannot afford another major shock." The locusts have been destroying crops in Kenya after chewing up crops in Somalia and Ethiopia -- arguably two of the most desperate nations for food on earth. Fox News: Now the “waves and waves of swarms” are spreading further across the region, said Keith Cressman, the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organizations (FAO) senior locust forecasting officer.

As my colleague Nick Arama reported here, it was a great night for Trump. With 97% of the New Hampshire primary results in, the President is at 85.7%. In other words, he’s now in Reagan territory. And Tuesday’s Republican turnout, currently around 120,000, far exceeds that of any other incumbent president seeking reelection. Although this is certainly good news, Republicans shouldn’t get too cocky because the Democrats had a very good night as well. The most updated figures (97%) show that 283,440 Democratic votes had been cast. Based on that number, 100% would bring it to approximately 292,200, which is significantly higher than Democratic turnout in 2016

Primped and poised, Siba the standard poodle owned the ring. Even with the crowd at Madison Square Garden chanting for a popular golden retriever, the statuesque Siba strutted off with best in show at the Westminster Kennel Club on Tuesday night. Adorned with black puffs and pompoms, the 3-year-old Siba was the absolute picture of what many see as the epitome of a show dog. Not everyone shared that view. As judge Bob Slay studied Siba in the best-of-seven final ring, a fan shouted out: “No way, Slay, no way!”
