Secondly, even if it is true, it is hard to see the foul play as the allegation of Hunter Biden’s grift has been the subject of media attention on the past and the Obama administration had leaned on Ukraine to stop their investigation. This, alone, merits asking the Ukrainians to reopen the case.

Federally-licensed firearm dealers—gun stores, department stores that sell guns, etc.—are already required to conduct background checks on their customers. By current appearances, Barr’s “idea” proposes to expand the check requirement to “advertised commercial sales” by non-dealers and all sales by non-dealers at gun shows, but not to sales arranged informally, at locations other than gun shows, between people who know one another.
Late Thursday, the St. Joseph County, Indiana clerk’s office confirmed that South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s campaign disclosure reports from 2011 were shredded. Indiana state law allows for the disposal of campaign filings after four years, and personnel with the clerk’s office told The Federalist that Buttigieg’s records were destroyed because of the “retention schedule.”

During that conversation Trump repeatedly asked or demanded that Ukraine investigate the possible corruption that may have occurred while former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter was a member of the board of directors of a Ukrainian energy company.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued an enthusiastic endorsement of Donald Trump on Sunday, and lauded their 'chemistry,' as he seeks more support from Indian-American voters. During one of Trump's largest rallies to date, which was dubbed 'Howdy, Modi!' and included about 50,000 attendees, the Indian leader made his support of the incumbent president very clear, giving kudos on a strong economy, good foreign relation initiatives and the president's celebration of Diwali in the White House. Modi said Trump has always been friendly, warm and accessible – words with which not many other world leaders have used to describe this president.

During a visit to the region on Sunday night, President Donald Trump said he is working with lawmakers on “trying to come up with a solution” to gun violence in the wake of last month’s mass shooting in Dayton’s Oregon District.
In an exclusive interview with the president, News Center 7’s Molly Koweek asked President Trump what a solution might look like.
“We have to protect our second amendment,” Trump said. “We can’t let guns be taken away from good people, but we want to have them taken away from crazy people.”
