Why Liberals and Progressives Lie to Blacks

Original Article

In a Slate article -- "Democratic Candidates Are Misrepresenting Michael Brown's Death"-- the reliably-liberal William Saletan wrote: Last week, in a Democratic presidential debate, former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro read a list of black Americans killed by police violence. (Snip)But let's leave that aside and examine why the candidates are promulgating such a well-proven lie (Saletan does a good job demonstrating its extent), not even correcting it when confronted by the press, in Warren's case most egregiously so. The obvious is that they are fishing for votes. Warren has a putative weakness with African American voters.

Just remember... Leaders, black or otherwise, are usually self-declared. Either nobody else wanted the job, or were too busy with more important things to care. Which was our mistake. NEVER let someone say, "I'm the boss of you..."

Keeping blacks in the minority is an industry. It provides money and power to the dems and many black 'leaders,' like Sharpton and Jackson. Look how they denigrate blacks who have become successful, especially if they develop conservative views, and how they are against charter schools. It's extremely obvious It is a major problem for our country.

Sorry ... but this all must be lain at the feet of the black population itself. Why? Because they do not rise up and tell these self-anointed "leaders" that they don't need them or want them and they can and will speak up for themselves. These "leaders" constantly lie to them but are still welcomed with open arms. Does any other racial or ethnic group in America have a spokesman? Do you see one person claiming to represent their race? Is there a Native American "spokesman"? Hispanic? No --- yet you see that as part of a cultural heritage for blacks dating back to pre-Civil War times. The real issue is, such spokesman as Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc. really hurt more than they help. They'll stay on the scene until the American blacks finally say: "Time for you to sit down and shut up!".

The most egregious lie I have heard a demonrat tell in recent memory was Gropey Joe’s, “They’re gonna put ya’ll back in chains”. Not only was it an absurd lie, but the pandering “ya’ll” to a black audience was insulting. No one from Delaware uses the term “ya’ll”. It was just as bad as Illary’s fake accent in the famous “Ah ain’t no ways tarred” rant.

I hope that more Blacks will realize the truth of this article. There are actually two major lies going on. One is that all Blacks are victims. The second is that the dems are going to do anything significant to "fix" it. Mislead by their leaders and liberals, Blacks have been on the wrong path for decades. They have a lot of housekeeping to do. The breakdown of the Black family, the disdain of education, and the acceptance a violent culture are corrosive beyond belief and it is Blacks who must address these issues. The rest of us can stand ready to help when appropriate but it's an internal cultural issue for Blacks. The BIG problem that liberals face is that when Blacks are truly "woke" their hatred of their ex leaders and dems will be justified and strong.

They lie to the blacks because they can. Poor ones and not so poor ones. The poor ones really don't care what they are being spoon-fed because of their gimmedat mentality. Hence, perpetual daily dependency on the state.

Who runs Britain? When Boris Johnson’s lawyers made their case in front of the Supreme Court this week, defending his right to prorogue parliament, they in effect brought it back to this simple question. This was a controversy for politicians to settle, not courts. Judges, they said, should think twice about ‘entering the political arena’ and unsettling the UK’s ‘careful constitutional and political balance’. He may be the first prime minister to frame the matter so starkly, but no previous prime minister has had to. This is about far more than Brexit. Britain is witnessing political litigation on a hitherto unseen scale. We have a government

By announcing that the impeachment inquiry is now “official,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi gave the nation (or at least the national media) loads of drama Tuesday evening — but without actually doing anything. House Judiciary chief Jerry Nadler has already been calling his committee’s work an “official” impeachment inquiry, after all; now the speaker says the same. But she’s still not allowing any actual votes on the House floor about it. All she’s “done” is instruct six committee chairmen, including Nadler, to pull together all the dirt they’ve got. That’s apparently to go to Judiciary, which then might eventually vote

Former FBI Director James Comey said he hopes Congress will not ultimately impeach President Trump, saying it would too easily let the American people "off the hook." House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., on Tuesday announced a formal impeachment inquiry, saying "the president must be held accountable" for his "betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of our national security, and the betrayal of the integrity of our elections." Invoking the "darkest days of the American Revolution," Pelosi called on lawmakers to honor their constitutional oath to protect the country "from all enemies, foreign and domestic." House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced on Tuesday the formalization of an impeachment inquiry and specifically charged that the Trump administration had violated the law by not turning over a whistleblower complaint concerning Trump's July call with Ukrainian President

Joe Biden’s now famous run-in with notorious gangster “Corn Pop” was a scene right out of West Side Story, The Outsiders, or some other overrated movie that hasn’t aged well. Speaking of things not aging well, Biden’s brain is not having a good decade. From his claims of intimate involvement with the civil rights movement to his opposition to the Iraq War from its start, Joe is very creative with his own history. In that vein, I thought I’d help him by clarifying a few parts of his biography before he makes the mistake of thinking these things happened to him. Biden did not team up with his dance partners

A foreign natural gas company brings a top US politician’s son onto its board, even though he has no relevant expertise, for $50,000 a month. The politician travels to that country and demands the removal of a prosecutor who’s investigating the company. That prosecutor then gets axed, and the investigation shut down. Imagine the son was Eric Trump, and the politician Donald Trump. Would the media be dismissing it as nothing worth looking at, a “debunked” issue? Yes, Ukraine’s chief prosecutor declared in May that he’d seen no evidence of wrongdoing by Joe or Hunter Biden. (Of course not: Again, the investigation got closed years ago.)

Nobody is going to hold Donald Trump accountable for his alleged Ukrainian shenanigans because—as we’ve seen in his career and the first 32 months of his presidency—he’s too good at deflecting investigators, irate Democrats and pesky reporters. To begin with, Trump suffers no shame when confronted with the outrages of his personal, professional and political lives. A normal fellow would blush crimson if caught paying a porn actress hush money after purportedly having sex with her. He’d cringe if confronted with the lascivious things he’d repeatedly said about his eldest daughter. He’d wear a mask to avoid being recognized if 17 women had accused him of sexual misbehavior.

Year-old texts contained in a Senate Judiciary Committee report show that New York Times reporter Robin Pogrebin engaged in questionable journalistic tactics to shape a false narrative against Kavanaugh by telling a source what to say and by asking sources to confirm information she herself had given them. And despite including a highly opinionated discussion of the text exchange in their book, the authors never admitted that Pogrebin was a key player in the exchanges. Pogrebin made a bizarre and unsupported claim this week that Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh had told her to lie. It turned out Pogrebin had mischaracterized discussions with the Supreme Court’s public information officer, not Kavanaugh,

"No, we have guns because it's our God-given right enshrined in the Constitution." The first part of Sanders’ tweet, though, is mostly accurate. The National Rifle Association's money doesn't corrupt Republican legislators.
