That’s why I’m reaching out to my former friends to tell them all is forgiven for that time in 2016 when they abandoned their family and tried to start a new and exciting life with that political femme fatale, Hillary Clinton. You know who you are, Never Trumpers. I have a list of at least 6-8 "conservative commentator" which are just GONE to me. It would take a couple of years of serious groveling before I would even consider thinking well of them again, and they haven't shown the slightest signs of sanity yet. I, sadly put a certain Mr. Jonah, on that list.

True Never Trumpers are those republicans who wanted Jeb, McCain, Kasich or Rubio but not Sir Edmund. She represented the Dark Side from which there is no return. Those sourpuss harpys, school teachers, hollyweirds and all-around Clinton worshipers will never get over it and will vote for anything that the dems throw at them. Trump now has a far larger base and even some additional Black and Hispanic support for gravy. I don't think they will be able to make enough MAGA and KAG hats in time.

"He needs you." NO, he DOESN'T! The Never Trumpers have made it clear that they are willing to sacrifice this Country to the Left out of spite because they can't have their own way. We don't need those type of "supporters", obviously quite willing to stab us in the back. I KNOW the Left cannot be trusted. I thought these "fellow Conservatives" could be. Live and learn.

Then there are the once Trumpers who changed their minds after hearing the 'pu***' tape. That would be people like my 93yr. old mother. I really doubt she voted for hitlery, but she sure didn't vote for Trump after hearing that. I've tried telling her that when he said that he was a Democrat and they were allowed to say things like that. But since he became a Republican he is now a decent human being. Also, I've told her to look at the stock market and if it would be doing as well if a GDdemocrat was President.

Utah's Never Trumpers are still planning a primary to rob Trump of Utah's Electoral votes, if possible. They hope their globalist "church" will divide the votes 3 ways: One half of the state (the non-Mormons) is divided between the liberals who vote Dem and the conservatives who support Trump. Romney and his fellow leadership of their "church" are backing another Evan McMullin type in hopes that their slaves (people still being claimed by their "church" as members) will vote as a bloc got this third party guy. IF they actually did vote as a bloc they (1/2 the state's population) would win the state for their front guy. But the reality is, those so-called "church"members think for themselves inside the voting booth (possibly the only private place they have in life) and have voted both Trump and Hillary in the past.

Assuming #14 incorrect, then Miele is being an adult here and is correct. The president needs more votes, not less. A huge landslide is better than a modest landslide. Leave no doubt.

There’s an old saying that wars are easy to get into but hard to get out of. President Trump understands this, which is why he wisely resisted the temptation to launch a military strike against Iran after that nation launched a missile and drone attack last week against Saudi Arabian oil facilities. When he was running for president, Trump promised the American people he would not jump into endless conflicts in the greater Middle East, where thousands of members of the U.S. military have been killed and wounded in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Fighting began in 2001 in Afghanistan and 2003 in Iraq and still continues in both countries.

The Democrats increasingly resemble those wannabe jihadis who blow themselves to rags by mishandling homemade explosives. Their animus for President Trump is such that they consistently underestimate the danger to themselves presented by “bombshell” revelations when managed with insufficient care. The already questionable credibility of Elizabeth Warren was recently damaged when, based on a now-debunked New York Times story, she precipitously demanded the impeachment of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. A similarly impulsive Democratic response to the “explosive” claims made by an anonymous intelligence official about a telephone conversation between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will inevitably explode in their faces.

The Democrats’ media narrative of impeachment portrays President Trump and his administration as serial law-breakers who, true to form, obstruct all congressional investigations of wrongdoing. This then becomes the analytical framework for every new controversy. There are at least two fundamental problems with this. First, our constitutional system is based on friction between competing branches vested with separate but closely related powers. The Framers understood that the two political branches would periodically try to usurp each other’s authorities. Congress often does this by enactments that seek to subject executive power to congressional (or judicial) supervision. Presidential pushback on such laws is not criminal obstruction

Unless the mother of all earthquakes strikes and the largest of the West Coast states tumbles into the sea (Steely Dan said it would happen, but it hasn’t), California is not an island. More to the point, it’s not England in the summer and fall of 1940—an actual island fortress that was standing alone against Nazi tyranny (although historians love to debate just how alone Great Britain was in its darkest and finest hours). One way to look at California: it’s not so much a detached land as it is the uppermost reaches of a liberal peninsula

The swamp is bottomless. Truly undrainable. Unlike blood-sucking vampires that can be tamed with garlic necklaces, holy water and a stake driven through the heart, this THING cannot be stopped. The Leviathan has become a glioblastomic tumor with roots so deep beneath the Potomac that they can never be wrenched out. Its gnarly fingers of government intrusion slither into every thin cranny of American life. (Unless, of course, you are an illegal alien living in the United States illegally, in which case you may carry on unmolested by the Federal Swamp Leviathan. Daniel Patrick Moynihan famously chided a debate opponent, “Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts.” This would be a useful lesson for gun control advocates to learn. Every candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, for example, has echoed the familiar refrain that the number of mass shootings is on the rise and that more stringent federal laws regulating the sale of firearms will ameliorate the “crisis of gun violence.” The problem with these claims is that mass shootings are not increasing in frequency. Nor is there any objective evidence that new gun control laws would reduce their number.

All Darrin Kelly wanted for the energy workers in Western Pennsylvania was that the Democratic presidential hopefuls would talk to them before going to war against shale. That opportunity slipped away last Friday when Elizabeth Warren joined Bernie Sanders in calling for a total fracking ban. “On my first day as president, I will sign an executive order that puts a total moratorium on all new fossil-fuel leases for drilling offshore and on public lands. And I will ban fracking — everywhere,” Warren tweeted. “It is disappointing that any national candidate would not come in here and want to talk to the men and women of this area first

I’ve gotten out of the prediction business when it comes to American politics. Primarily because I no longer trust the information on which I used to rely to make predictions. Mainstream American news media continues their Wile E. Coyote routine with President Trump. And just like the cartoon, you quickly figure out after a couple of episodes they’re never going to catch Trump’s roadrunner. This week’s episode featured Media Coyote telling us President Roadrunner has lost his magic in North Carolina and in no way would Dan Bishop be able to pull off a victory in the state’s 9th Congressional District because of the roadrunner’s unpopularity.

As I wrote earlier this week, the Democratic Party is accomplishing what the Republican Party—conservatives in particular—failed to do for more than two decades: Exposing the general public to the radical, authoritarian, and wholly unrealistic agenda lurking behind the facade of the climate change movement. The Green New Deal betrayed the climate crusade’s outlandish demands in its starkest, darkest terms yet, and a seven-hour climate change “town hall” on CNN this month featured Democratic presidential hopefuls promising everything from abortion and plastic straw bans to government-ordered veganism as solutions to halt supposed climate change. Democrats onstage in Houston aspire not so much to govern America as to punish it. Former Congressman Beto O’Rourke called racism not only “endemic” to America but “foundational.” He explained, “We can mark the creation of this country not at the Fourth of July, 1776, but August 20, 1619, when the first kidnapped African was brought to this country against his will and in bondage and as a slave built the greatness, and the success, and the wealth that neither he nor his descendants would ever be able to participate in or enjoy.” The villains in the Democratic Party story of America do not remain hundreds of years beyond our reach.

"Democrats say we have guns in America because of 'corruption,'" former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders declared on Twitter on Sept. 12. "No, we have guns because it's our God-given right enshrined in the Constitution." (Snip) The second part of that tweet is silly; God didn't give people the right to own AR-15s any more than a divine entity gave Americans the right to own automobiles without seat belts. The first part of Sanders’ tweet, though, is mostly accurate. The National Rifle Association's money doesn't corrupt Republican legislators.
