The Left’s Cynical and Childish ‘Climate Strike’

What is even more obnoxious than thousands of smug, self-righteous leftists preaching hysterically about the Church of Mother Earth and the imminent destruction of our planet due to “global warming?” Hearing this same song-and-dance from a bunch of literal children. And that is exactly what the Left and its enthusiastic enablers in the corporate leftist media have unleashed upon us. No matter how much you may have tried to resist it, chances are that you have seen some images, videos, and social media posts crammed into your feed recently from the #ClimateStrike sensation. Even though this march is yet another vain effort

Of course listen to the children because some of them might have the audacity to think for themselves when they grow up. Listen now while the left controls their minds. We don't see through this? The government takes our money to teach our children then spends it on a political stunt. How is that ok?

The Left recruits a 16-year-old child to promote their Climate agenda; what did they expect, the Gettysburg Address? Their obvious aim is to harvest the votes of children which they could advance by lowering the voting age to 16. I don't know about any of you but judging the intelligence, good sense and morals of today's teenagers would prompt me to start the revolution sooner rather than later.

Lendrum reaches the inescapable conclusion that the Left has become infantalized. They have. FTA: "...(T)hey want us to submit to the will of hysterical children because the Greta Thunbergs and David Hoggs of the world most accurately reflect the mindset of today’s adult Left: a cult of drones who are ill-informed, hyperemotional, over sensational, devoid of common sense, and adverse [sic] to facts. And they want all of us to be just like them." Misusing children for political purposes ought to be a crime. In my grammar school class only one classmate cared enough about politics to lecture the class. She had been turned into a kind of activist by her political donor father, a Democrat who had received illegal fund raising calls from Al Gore from his then vice president's office. The rest of the class knew who their parents voter for--in my private school most children had Republican parents--but wouldn't take a real interest in politics for another decade or more.

The simple reality is that if you tell school kids that if they go to some sort of a "rally" that they can skip a day of school, at least 95% will laugh and jump at the chance, REGARDLESS of the purpose or theme of the "rally".....for them the theme is actually OUT OF SCHOOL. The whole thing is just BS, and means absolutely nothing.

I keep hearing these brainwashed kids telling adult that we are taking their future away because of "climate change". Who told them this? These brainwashed children say they are "afraid" of the future because of this. The climate change zealots, it seems to me, are child abusers. They are telling children things that are not necessarily true to scare them and get them to go along with their point of view. They get some disciples like Greta Thunberg who garner headlines and the other kids willingly follow her. She might not know what she is talking about but she knows how to deliver her speech.

Me Too started with a hashtag, then morphed into a trend of public humiliation, trial by media, and personal boycotts that altered the standards by which a person is judged. Initially the movement was used to take down chronic abusers of women who had been using their power and influence to silence complaints. As the movement picked up steam, private sexual encounters became fair game. Many of the Me Too infractions that came to light aren’t criminal offenses, and much of the shaming has been against non-public figures. Those accused who are known in their field but not tabloid superstars experience being

The life of the Trump-Ukraine affair can be measured in days, and the most basic facts of the matter are still unknown. Yet many Democrats and their allies in the media are already renewing their calls for the impeachment of President Trump. By doing so, they are observing one of the lessons of the Trump-Russia investigation: Act before finding out what happened. Don't wait for the end of an investigation, with its facts, details, and messy inconclusiveness, to call for the president's removal. Strike first, before things get complicated. We don't know precisely what was said in the July 25 telephone conversation in which Trump reportedly pressed Ukrainian President

Senior Republican operatives are confident President Trump will not absorb lasting damage from fresh allegations that he pressured Ukraine to investigate political rival Joe Biden, predicting he might even win over swing voters in 2020 if Democrats initiate impeachment. Republican strategists are not dismissing the gravity of accusations. They are simply skeptical that the unfolding scandal will hurt Trump with GOP voters any more than did a two-year federal probe into charges that he colluded with Russia to defeat Hillary Clinton. Some Republicans even see an upside. Impeachment lacks critical support from voters, yet House Democrats are more likely to pursue removing the president through extra-electoral means, risking a backlash.

Financial advisers call it “the proximately principal,” meaning people located near enormous amounts of money tend to benefit. As proof, the non-stop flow of federal funds in the form of salaries, pensions, bonuses, grants, subsidies, overruns, waste and fraud has created a Washington-area economy second to none. Other parts of the country have economic ups and downs. The DMV (for the District, Maryland, and Virginia) has only ups.

According to the latest presidential opinion polls, the 2020 presidential election is over. Newsweek is giddy, reporting several days ago, “The latest Fox News poll about the 2020 election shows President Donald Trump losing to every Democratic frontrunner including Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.” Propaganda, used extensively in the past by communists and Nazis, is information put out by governments, or their media allies, to push an agenda and influence people rather than to inform them. Much of mainstream journalism today falls into the category of propaganda with the media presenting only part of a story, or fabricating news entirely, in order to further their political agendas.

In some ways, President Trump has been going quiet in recent weeks. I wonder if that is because his people are ranging the heavy artillery wheel-to-wheel a couple of miles behind the front lines before the Big Push starts for next year’s presidential election. Think about what we know. We know that the nation’s intelligence services were used by the Obama administration to spy on the opposition’s presidential campaign in 2016. And used again to cover up their crimes and take out a duly elected president after the election. Stop and think about that for a minute. (Snip) The second part of that tweet is silly; God didn't give people the right to own AR-15s any more than a divine entity gave Americans the right to own automobiles without seat belts. The first part of Sanders’ tweet, though, is mostly accurate. The National Rifle Association's money doesn't corrupt Republican legislators.
