Texas and Florida Shatter the ABA’s
Gatekeeping Power

During the left’s infamous “march through the institutions,” it brilliantly captured organizations that held gatekeeping authority over access to careers and professions. Among these were education, journalism, and much of the fine arts, but the most important was the left’s capture of the American Bar Association. ABA accreditation of a law school has been required in all 50 states for a law school’s graduates to be able to take the bar exam. Texas and Florida just ended the ABA’s monopoly, and not a moment too soon.

Another brick out of the liberal wall. The best thing about these types of changes is that the original procedures were put in quite a while ago before the Left was so IN YOUR FACE. They remained in place through inertia. Now that they are gone, they are NOT going to be put back in place in the future because no one trusts the ABA anymore. That's not to say that the Left won't come up with new sneaky ways to get what they want but it's going to be a lot harder to accomplish that, especially in Conservative states

ABA is an extremist, far left political hack organization. They should be in charge of nothing at all.

Well I think all states should follow suit. I’m sure some are fine with the ABA, but any law schools in those states should take heed and look hard at Texas and Florida.

It comes once a month, often quietly, but lately it’s landed like a thud. Heating your home now costs hundreds more a month than it did just a few years ago. You use the same appliances. You flip the same switches. Nothing in your daily life has changed – except the price. Why? The American electricity market is not guided by an “invisible hand” of supply and demand, but an accumulation of misaligned rules laid down over decades. Layer upon layer of regulation, subsidy, mandate, and accounting rules

For those of us who’ve been most passionate about defeating the mandates and regulations designed to impose an all-EV future, we understood that it wasn’t really about replacing gasoline-powered internal combustion (“ICE”) vehicles with electric vehicles. Rather, the goal was to eliminate all personal transportation freedom, and by outlawing ICE vehicles, the battle would be halfway won, ... Here in the U.S., blue states are pivoting toward mileage caps, which would establish maximum “vehicle miles traveled” (“VMT”) allowed for an entire state, with regulators then creating “incentives” to reduce individual driving so as to achieve the VMT objective.

What if I told you Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., has the power and the votes — right now — to save Republicans’ congressional majorities, President Trump’s second-term agenda, and maybe the republic itself, all while poleaxing Democrats on the short side of an 84-15 issue? Requiring voters to prove their citizenship is one of the most popular ideas in the country, with 84 percent of Americans supporting and only 15 percent opposed. That’s why 36 states and most of the world’s developed countries already have it on the books.

Jim Crow is back, you guys! Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer invoked Jim Crow regarding the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which requires proof of citizenship to register to vote. Schumer whined:I have said it before and I’ll say it again, the SAVE Act would impose Jim Crow-type laws to the entire country and is dead on arrival in the Senate,” Schumer said in a statement on Monday. “If House Republicans add the SAVE Act to the bipartisan appropriations package it will lead to another prolonged Trump government shutdown.

John Ondrasik hasn’t won a Grammy … yet. The Five for Fighting singer came close with “Superman (It’s Not Easy),” a song that evolved into more than just a Billboard smash over time. “Superman” became part of America’s enduring spirit following the Sept. 11 attacks. So Ondrasik knows a thing or two about both music and culture. It’s why he decided to weigh in on Sunday’s Grammy awards, a night replete with ugly, persistent attacks on ICE agents. (snip) Disturbed lead singer David Draiman shared a similar post regarding the Grammys.
Stupidity or Evil: Which is More Dangerous? 8 replies

“Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than evil.” — Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Bonhoeffer’s insight remains one of the most unsettling diagnoses of moral collapse ever written—not because it flatters our intelligence, but because it strips away comforting illusions. Evil, he observed, can be confronted. It can be named, resisted, punished. Stupidity, by contrast, is immune to argument. Facts bounce off it. Evidence is dismissed as irrelevant. Moral reasoning fails not because it is weak, but because it is no longer being received.

A Utah police department's use of artificial intelligence led to a police report stating -- falsely -- that an officer had been transformed into a frog. The geniuses who are planning New York’s energy future think that they can make intermittent wind and solar generators work to power the electrical grid by the simple device of providing some battery storage. The idea is that when there is abundant wind and sun, they can store up the power for use during those calm and dark periods in the winter. How much battery storage will that take? It’s a simple arithmetic calculation, but none of our supposed experts have taken the trouble to crunch the numbers.

Former Mesa County, Colorado Election Clerk Tina Peters broke no state or federal laws by backing up her Election Management Server (EMS) hard drive, having it analyzed, and even publishing the results.  If she had, the federal and Colorado state governments would have legally come down on her for doing so, especially during the Biden administration. In other words, not one state or federal charge resulted from Tina’s actions backing up her county’s server.  Because they had NOTHING, Colorado (likely at the behest of the DOJ) had to manufacture imaginary felonies and misdemeanors and prosecute her in the state courts.

Weeks after her abduction, and with Israeli troops advancing in the area, a Palestinian doctor “injected air into her vein,” Noa’s father said.

Some of America’s wealthiest couples are now collecting $100,000 a year in Social Security benefits, a six-figure payout that a new proposal says should be capped to help keep the retirement program solvent beyond 2032. About 1 million beneficiaries receive at least $50,000 annually — or more than $100,000 for a retired couple — representing less than 2% of the roughly 56 million people age 65 and older who get Social Security, according to an analysis by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. The nonpartisan think tank projects that share will grow over time because of annual cost-of-living adjustments and as more Americans reach retirement age.

Will Fariah Brewer be disciplined? Will she be thrown out of the military? Wearing a hijab, Brewer on Monday recorded a video that quickly went viral. In it, she happily admits that if she is commanded, as a member of the U.S. military, to fight other Muslims, she would disobey the orders. She makes this clear in the context of a discussion of the conflict with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Will the Army take action? Or would doing anything to call Brewer to account be “Islamophobic”? [Tweet, video] It’s axiomatic: a soldier in the U.S. military should be loyal to the United States.

In addition to serving as senior bishop and the symbolic leader of the Church of England, Archbishop Mullally also becomes the most prominent figure in the worldwide Anglican Communion, which includes Episcopalians in the U.S.

The Southern District of Florida (“SDFL”) federal grand jury has just issued criminal subpoenas to major players like former FBI Director James Comey and CIA Director John Brennan. This action is no fishing expedition but rather the telltale sign that a massive RICO criminal enterprise is finally being cracked open, which I’ve suggested earlier would happen given the Clinton crime family and Seth Rich’s unsolved murder. Two thousand years ago, Jesus walked into the Temple and saw money changers and merchants turning a house of worship into a profit racket. He flipped tables, scattered coins, and exposed the corruption. The Pharisees and Sadducees panicked and plotted his death.

The agency intends to pause Gateway in its current form and shift focus to infrastructure that enables sustained surface operations,” Jared Isaacman said in a statement given during a day-long event at NASA headquarters in Washington. Despite challenges with some existing hardware, the agency will repurpose applicable equipment and leverage international partner commitments to support these objectives,” he said. The European Space Agency among other international organizations were partners on the planned Gateway project.

The Mexican Navy announced on Thursday that it has begun a search-and-rescue mission in the Caribbean Sea for two sailboats carrying "humanitarian aid" to Cuba. Reuters describes the vessels as "sailboats" and says they left Isla Mujeres, in the Mexican Caribbean state of Quintana Roo, last week. They did not arrive in Havana as scheduled on Tuesday or Wednesday. The journey is about 300 to 350 miles, depending on the route. Combined, the two boats had nine people on board, including eight adults and a four-year-old child. Reuters also reports that they were a part of the "Nuestra America Convoy."

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard recently learned of the intercepts and has asked the U.S. Agency for International Development officials to scour for records to see if the plot actually was carried out and whether a criminal referral should be made to the FBI.

There are up to a thousand “no-go zones” across Europe and thousands more “sensitive” neighbourhoods as a result of decades of mass migration policies and the failures of multiculturalism to integrate disparate groups of foreigners into Western society, a report has found. The report, “No-Go Zones, Immigration and the Rise of Parallel Societies,” from the conservative New Direction Foundation for European Reform think tank, estimated that there are between 900 and 1,000 urban areas that could be deemed as “no-go zones”, in which there are elevated levels of crime, social fragmentation, and weakened state authority.

After two months of unyielding negotiations, both parties gave up early Friday on reaching a grand accord to reform and fund the Department of Homeland Security. Instead, Senate Republicans accepted what Democrats have been offering for weeks — cash for all of DHS except for ICE and part of Customs and Border Protection. The Senate approved the funding package by a voice vote and is now expected to begin a scheduled two-week recess. The House could vote as soon as Friday, before the shutdown would break the record Saturday night for the longest funding lapse of any federal agency in U.S. history. Senate Majority Leader John Thune called the outcome “unfortunate” Friday.

March 20, 2026, marked a turning point in the 2026 Iran war, when Iran launched two intermediate-range ballistic missiles at the joint U.K.–U.S. military base on Diego Garcia, a remote island in the Indian Ocean. Although both missiles failed to reach their target—one malfunctioned in flight, while the other was successfully intercepted—the attack sent shockwaves through Western Europe. This missile proved that the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had lied for years about the true range of Iran’s missile arsenal. Khamenei claimed Iran’s missiles could not threaten beyond the Middle East and their range had been limited to 2,000 kilometers.
