Illegal Immigrant Accused Of Killing Loyola
Student Is Missing Brain Part, Has "Development

The Venezuelan illegal immigrant accused of murdering Loyola University student Sheridan Gorman is missing a part of his brain and has the "development of a child," his lawyer said in court Friday. Jose Medina-Medina was held without bail by Chicago Judge D'Anthony Thedford (snip.) Medina-Medina was shot in the head during a robbery when he was living with his mom in Colombia (snip.) He's being treated at the health facility inside the Cook County Jail, where his lawyer asked he remain so that immigration officials don't arrest and deport him.

Comments:

Medina-Medina's attorney seems to be preparing to claim that this murderer, released into the United States by the Biden Administration and previously shielded from deportation by Illinois Democrats, lacks the mental capacity to comply with our laws. Note that Medina-Medina remains in jail at his attorney's request -- to shield him from deportation.

He is a board member of the Illinois Prison Project, a former board member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a former President of the Illinois Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers."

The Democrats and RINOs responsible for the tsunami of illegal aliens in 2021-2025 deserve to be tarred and feathered. They knew exactly what they were doing, and they should pay the ultimate political price, gone from power, unmissed, and cordially hated by Americans. Every damn one of them should be a pariah, dodging flying rotten fruit when they venture outside. Their allies in the left wing press--the most corrupt institution in America--should be equally despised, also running the gantlet of smelly, flying stuff such as osage orange aka mock orange, nasty when rotten.

Apparently, it's not part of his brain but rather part of his skull that was affected by a gunshot and removed. He can't read or write -- the implication being that part of his skull (not brain) that was removed is responsible. But more likely is a faulty education, he probably skipped school out of choice.

It's Cook County. No matter how lame brained his theory is, the defense will find an"expert' with a bs CV (for the right price) sufficient to raise a reasonable doubt in at least one juror's mind to prove to the jury that the defendant is not competent to stand trial on the grounds that he cannot understand the charges against him and is unable to fully assist counsel in his defense because of his mental condition. Just one juror out of twelve. Put the right garbage, poc expert, and get as many jurors who share the same attribute as the poc expert, and the guy has a shot at walking. He certainly has a better-than-even shot at pleading out. 2/degree, maybe vol/man, 20-40 with a chance at an earlier out or first parole in 5 (to 10)/, throw in uncontested deportation after any prison time. It's let's make a deal time - after the lawyer makes some money, of course. He clearly has a judge who will sign off on a deal for this poor unfortunate. He's a good boy, after this is the first time he has ever killed someone. I'll bet the little maggot was one of those Maduro dumped on us. I don't get it, the article said the mom ID'd him. How did they know who the mother was? I liked/s the way the article pinned it on the BP.

Major automakers unveiled new electric vehicles at the New York Auto Show on Wednesday, despite lagging consumer demand and a sharp downturn in sales after Washington eliminated a $7,500 EV tax credit. Kia said it would begin selling its lower-priced EV3 in the United States later this year, while Subaru offered a new three-row EV named the “Getaway” that can seat seven. The Japanese automaker’s family EV SUV will go on sale later this year or next year, its fourth EV model in the US market. Automakers are facing a tougher US EV market but higher gasoline prices in recent weeks have spurred fresh interest. “The market is going to come back

Should California codify Islamic religious observances into state-recognized holidays in the United States? As a nation, the essence of who we are as a People is rooted in our Judeo-Christian values and principles, dating back to the Magna Carta. This shared moral vocabulary has shaped Western thinking since America’s founding. Why, then, would any State in the Union formally endorse or incorporate into our educational and other public institutions a religious doctrine with practices antithetical to the belief system? AB 2017, introduced by Progressive Democrats Assemblyman Matt Haney and Senator Aisha Wahab, proposes adding Eid al-Fitr (Festival of Breaking the Fast) and Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) to California’s recognized holidays.

The President said the UK “doesn’t even have a navy” as he accused Keir Starmer of only caring about building “windmills”. He also dismissed Nato as a “paper tiger” and said America leaving the military alliance was now “beyond reconsideration”. It’s easy enough to dismiss Sen. Bernie Sanders’ endless lament that the rich don’t “pay their fair share of taxes,” but he should still be held to account when he flat-out lies about how much the rich do pay. In an op-ed published by the Guardian, Sanders repeats a number of leftist tropes: income inequality has never been greater, the Trump tax cuts benefited the rich and big corporations, the middle class is getting screwed. Yadda, yadda, yadda. But then he starts making some remarkable claims. He says that Warren Buffett’s tax rate is 0.1%, “while the average

Michael Goodwin, writing at the New York Post, made a claim remarkable for its simple clarity: “The Democratic Party We Once Knew Is Dead.” You and I can readily agree with Goodwin, but the party is certainly not dead and gone. What has it become? Victor Davis Hanson provides the answer: There is no Democratic Party. There’s a Socialist Party. But it’s a very weird Socialist Party. It’s a ... [pyramid] with a lot of very wealthy, globalized elites that run things at the top. Nothing in the middle of the pyramid. And then an expansive big base of poor people, of immigrants. The Democrats, Hanson explains, no longer champion their
