President Donald Trump started the State of the Union with a bang, honoring America’s 250th birthday, praising WWII and Korean War heroes, and awarding high honors to a brave Coast Guardsman and a gold medal-winning hockey player. And the president crowned it all by awarding two rare Medals of Honor.
Trump managed to shame even a few Democrats into standing up for the Olympic men’s hockey team, which won gold for the first time since the historic “Miracle on Ice,” and the Medal of Honor winners. But mostly it was Republicans who applauded them and also the other patriots whom Trump specially invited and praised. The president also

This is your weekly reminder that just because the Europeans do wounded vanity, umbrage, and virtue-signaling lectures so much better than we do does not necessarily mean that what is issuing from their sanctimonious streusel-holes matches what they are doing in actuality. In his quest for the Presidency, Gavin Newsom has a few things to overcome.
First, he’s burdened with all that great hair.
Second, he’s the Governor of the State of California, which used to be a great-state-to-go-to, but is now a-great-state-to-be-from.
Third, he’s a victim of white privilege. I know, I know, white privilege is a privilege, not a liability. The problem, however, is that in order to run for President, he first has to win the Democrat nomination (notwithstanding the Joe Biden 2024 rule). Many of the people who vote in Democrat primaries see whiteness as a liability.

Every election cycle, super-rich, out-of-touch white Dem politicians try to convince us that they’ve got some mega magical connection with minority voters. They claim to understand minority struggles, speak their language, and know exactly what these communities need. How do they know this? Well, nobody’s known until now. Apparently, wealthy white liberals understand black voters because they also have low SAT scores and can’t read.Yes, you heard that right.
Gavin Newsom just announced this to the world.
At an event that was supposed to focus on outreach to black voters, Newsom twisted himself into a pretzel, trying to present himself as relatable to black folks. Instead, Gavin wandered

The death of Jesse Jackson, who got his start lying about holding MLK’s body in his arms, shaking down companies with fake racism accusations to get franchises for his sons, and subsidize his affair and his out-of-wedlock baby, has given a boost to his criminal son.
Jesse Jackson Jr, a former Obama campaign co-chair, had been busted and sent to prison for making off with $750,000 in campaign cash and spending over $10,000 on Michael Jackson memorabilia, including $8,500 on two fedoras, not to mention $800 on a mink cashmere cape, is relaunching a campaign for his old House seat in Chicago, while exploiting his father’s death.

Gavin Newsom, California’s golden-boy governor and likely 2028 White House hopeful, recently decided to “bond” with a black audience in Georgia.
Newsom proclaimed, “I’m not trying to impress you. I’m just trying to impress upon you, I’m like you. I’m no better than you. You know, I’m a 960 SAT guy. And I’m not trying to offend anyone, trying to act all there if you got 940. But literally, a 960 SAT guy. I cannot — you’ve never seen me read a speech because I cannot read a speech. The O’Keefe Media Group went undercover at CattleCon in Nashville, Tennessee, and exposed how Tyson, JBS, Cargill and National Beef secretly control America’s beef market.
In November, President Trump said cattle prices were falling while beef prices kept rising and launched an investigation into price manipulation.
Trump directed the DOJ to investigate the meat packing companies who are driving up the prices through illicit collusion, price fixing and price manipulation. The O’Keefe Media Group went undercover at CattleCon and ranchers spilled the beans on how the “Big Four” control the beef industry.

Next month the most important political book of the year, or perhaps the decade, will be published. It is called The Information State: Politics in the Age of Total Control. The author is Jacob Siegel, a journalist for the Tablet.
To summarize: shocked by the arrival of Donald Trump in 2016, American government officials, the media, and the technology giants created a system of censoring the public, spying on other opponents, and planting false stories. The media was complicit and will never fully recover.
Trump’s rise, Siegel writes, “meant that politics had become war, as it is in many parts of the world,

That’s a good idea, and Trump should tout a series of amazing economic and financial accomplishments. Stock market at near all-time highs, inflation cut in half, real incomes up, middle class savings from the big beautiful tax bill, gas prices down, and energy production up. Private employment is up, while government employment is down. Retirement savings for American families (including 401k plans) are up almost $22,000 on average, more than reversing the losses from the Biden years when runaway inflation

California's progressives must really hate children. I don't know how else to explain this one.
One of the dumber laws passed in California (and that's saying something) over the past decade is one designed to give parole hearings to elderly convicts. Initially, anyone who has served more than 25 years and was over 60 years old was given a second chance at freedom whether they deserved it or not. And the law led to absurd results like this one from way back in 2019:

I was once asked by my father—a couple of years ago—if there was a single Democrat in office whom I respected.
The answer was easy: Ro Khanna.
Obviously, I agree with Khanna on very few things and strongly oppose his positions on most public policy issues. But I thought Khanna was smart, honest, and well-meaning, and one of the few politicians who didn't lie his arse off all the time. I could see having a conversation with him without feeling the need for a long, hot shower.
Welp. Another one bites the dust.
Now that Khanna is obviously preparing to run for president, he has sold his soul to the devil,

Cheung specifically called out CNN and MS NOW for refusing to broadcast the ceremony.
But CNN took it a step further and treated these Angel Families with pure, unadulterated contempt.

Remember that scene in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith when the Galactic Senate votes to give all-encompassing emergency powers to Emperor Palpatine?
That’s basically what will happen in Hawaii if a pair of emergency powers bills are passed. State lawmakers have advanced two bills that would empower the governor to declare an emergency and then order quarantines, enter private property, suspend existing statutes, regulate and seize firearms, and completely exterminate the Jedi order.
Okay, I made that last one up, but the fact remains: These bills are some of the scariest I’ve seen at any level of government lately.

Decades from now, when historians finish poring through the millions of Epstein documents and 300+ gigabytes of data, the uproar of today, I suspect, will be lumped into the same category as the Satanic panic of the 1980s and the daycare sex-abuse hysteria of the 1990s: More hype than substance; more conspiratorial fearmongering than fact-based reporting.
Because, after both Republican and Democratic administrations reviewed them, there’s just not any there there. Instead of an avalanche of evidence about foreign espionage, blackmail schemes, and Jeffrey Epstein being the James Bond of pedophilia, a far gloomier image emerges:

It didn’t take long for opponents to attempt to diminish the most notable Olympic victory in decades. On Sunday, the US men’s hockey team secured the gold medal by defeating its archrival Canada. This occurred 46 years after the Miracle on Ice game, which was also the last Winter Olympics in which our hockey team won gold.
However, because liberals are often seen as misguided, anti-Trump, and worse, un-American, they tend to dampen the mood. The good thing is that there are few, so the rest of us patriots just laugh at them. This isn’t a time to rely on those worthless “whine like a b**ch” degrees. No way.

The benefits of CO2 are indisputable, as anyone who knows anything about photosynthesis–i.e. everyone who went to school before the collapse of recent years–will understand. To say that the Artemis program – which has so far cost taxpayers more than $93 billion – has been plagued with problems is an understatement. It has been a case study in bureaucratic bumbling, one made more obvious when compared with the rapid advances achieved by private space companies such as SpaceX.

The Democratic Party’s latest talking point against the SAVE Act is almost performance art in its absurdity.
We are now expected to believe that birth certificates are mystical documents, whispered about in legend but never actually seen. They are simply too elusive for modern Americans to locate and too burdensome for a civilized society to require.
Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom and socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, an independent from Vermont, have both recently claimed they do not know where their vital records are, as though those documents vanished into the same void as missing socks. “I don’t have my birth certificate,” Sanders said last week. “God knows how I get it.”

Endorsed by President Donald Trump, the election integrity bill passed the U.S. House of Representatives last week with the support of just one Democrat, Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX).
In the Senate, the act faces a steeper hill to climb due to the 60-vote threshold to bypass the filibuster. Currently, Republicans say they have 50 senators on board while Democrats say they will block the bill.

The Department of Defense just made a move that ensures American military dominance for the next 50 years.
It’s secured access to a breakthrough semiconductor technology that will power the next generation of American military systems.
Fighter jets that outperform anything else in the sky. Missile defense that can track threats twice as far. Electronic warfare capabilities that protect our troops and keep them coming home.
And it’s all being manufactured right here in America… with technology no one else can replicate.
The technology is gallium nitride. And if you’ve never heard of it, you’re not alone.

How do destructive ideas and bouts of collective madness so quickly become policy, law, and the status quo? After all, most have little public support—and are not Western nations supposedly rationally governed?
There is usually a multi-step process on the road to these self-destructive fits of society-wide insanity.
The suicidal impulse so often begins with left-leaning researchers in elite universities (i.e., the tenured in search of a novel, grant-getting theory). They begin insisting that a new existential threat requires immediate government intervention, novel legislation, ample funding, and public awareness of the impending danger.

By now, we all know that most AI models are, by happenstance or more likely design, purveyors of propaganda. A lot of people rely on AI in the way they have relied on Wikipedia—as a quick and dirty way to access information and get up to speed.
More than that, AI is getting baked into everything, which is why so many data centers are being built, and why Big Tech is suddenly less worried about climate change than expanding the power grid as quickly as possible. News is being served to you by AI, and sometimes it is even written by it. It is everywhere, and it's pretty clear
