As President Donald Trump considers whether and how to conduct military strikes against Iran ahead of another round of talks in Geneva, Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine has advised the president and senior officials that such action could carry significant risks, including the possibility of a prolonged conflict, according to Axios.
Axios reported that Gen. Caine has advised Trump and top members of his national security team that a military campaign against Iran could carry serious consequences, including the possibility of the United States becoming entangled in a prolonged conflict. The account was based on conversations with five sources

I guess conversations between the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the POTUS are available upon request to anyone with a Press Pass? But really now, Axios? Axios?

There comes a time when we have to take action against an avowed enemy that cannot be diplomatically controlled and trusted! The current leadership of Iran is a danger to civilization and their own people! Enough!

Colin Powell said the same thing. They say Gen. Marshall and staff were unhappy with Germany first policy. These things happen. The decision belongs to the C-in-C.

The election was won on the promise of no more endless wars. Promises made, promises kept. Let Zion do its own fighting. Remember we were defeated in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya.

We've heard this advice for 46 years. Hold back. Just take moderate action. Don't defeat them. Advice that has cost us trillions, and we still have the problem, no resolution ever. As for the disagreement re Joint Chiefs, isn't it every day we get a story that this cabinet member is going to be fired, that person is going to quit, Steve Bannon is a Democrat, never ending efforts to divide and conquer Republicans, all with Deep State psyops.

Let's just let the mullahs get some nukes, possibly buying them from some rogue like North Korea and letting them threaten us and the rest of the Middle East for the next thirty years.

The goal has nothing to do with Iran. The goal is perpetual war and the resulting drain on our people and our treasury. Dont listen to what they say, look at what they've done for the last 250 years.

President Trump from Truth Social:
Numerous stories from the Fake News Media have been circulating stating that General Daniel Caine, sometimes referred to as Razin, is against us going to War with Iran. The story does not attribute this vast wealth of knowledge to anyone, and is 100% incorrect. General Caine, like all of us, would like not to see War but, if a decision is made on going against Iran at a Military level, it is his opinion that it will be something easily won. He knows Iran well in that he was in charge of Midnight Hammer, the attack on the Iranian Nuclear Development. It is a Development no longer, but rather, was blown to smithereens by our Great B-2 Bombers. Razin Caine is a Great Fighter, and represents the Most Powerful Military anywhere in the World. He has not spoken of not doing Iran, or even the fake limited strikes that I have been reading about, he only knows one thing, how to WIN and, if he is told to do so, he will be leading the pack. Everything that has been written about a potential War with Iran has been written incorrectly, and purposefully so. I am the one that makes the decision, I would rather have a Deal than not but, if we don’t make a Deal, it will be a very bad day for that Country and, very sadly, its people, because they are great and wonderful, and something like this should never have happened to them.
PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

5, Zion? Who is this Zion? Why not just say outright what you wanted to say, "I hate Jews, they run the banks and Hollywood, Hitler should have finished the job" because that's what people who make half hidden references to Zion really mean when they use wording like that on the kkk sites.
Also, how about a brief history recap?
Vietnam was a tremendous military victory. After the Tet offensive, the VC was wiped out, they had nothing left. Militarily they inflicted trivial damage. But we ran away because our liberal press lied about it.
Afghanistan: we should have found and killed bin Laden and left. But Obama said it was the good war so we stayed until Trump finally arranged to get us out. And Joe's puppet masters screwed it up.
Iraq: another hugely successful military victory destroyed by incompetent post war management.
Libya: what? Which war did we fight in Libya? The one where Reagan blew of Khaddaffi's tennis court and he back off his silly line of death? Or the one where Hillary encouraged a psychotic movement of Islamic terrorists to take over and left our ambassador to get raped, murdered and his body dragged through the streets? How did her little color revolution work out?
You can't post leftist nonsense here without getting called out. That's what Bluesky is for.

We have been in a prolonged entanglement with Iran ever since Jimmy Carter put the Ayatollah Assaholah back there to be in charge.

Then he should resign. When a person is conflicted like that he would not be expected to perform to his utmost abilities. His next job is retirement. Got it.

"You break it you bought it" is not Pottery Barn Rules...That corporations policy was nothing of the sort, In Fact even when it came to theft the policy was to not make anyone pay, notb try to stop them, not call security...If some one tried to drag a couch out the door without paying employees were told to help them carry it to their car.
"Common sense policy"...These are the rules, this is the agreement, this is the border, these are the red lines, here are the restrictions "You break them? You've bought the Farm".
"No forever wars" doesn't mean "No more Wars", It means "If we've got to? Get it over with quickly, decisively, as completely as possible, by either completely removing the leadership that caused it...or removing completely their ability to strike outside their own borders" All too often we have Won the War, but then lost the peace. Viet Nam was won when the TET Offensive failed, even the Chinese and N. Viets called it a loss....but then communist sympathizing Media stepped in and called it a major defeat. Iraq would be entirely different, Libya/Syria/Yemen/Lebanon, and Iran would be entirely different IF we had taken out Mookie AlSadr when he crossed the border with his Mahdi Militia, wiped him out instead of treating him like "A new Arafat, That could become a trusted partner for Peace by simply Treating him as such" It would all have been tirely different if we had simply strafed and eliminated ISIS as they rolled eastward on open desert highways armed with nothing more than, black masks, black flags, and small arms in the back of Toyota Hi-luxes...but the "PR Dept" at the Whitehouse/State at the time was afraid of "Highway of Death" stories, such as those at the end of the Kuwait "Victory". That made us out to be heartless slaughterers of the "Mostly Peaceful, almost innocent, fleeing looters"....in fact very few people were killed in those strafing runs, most fled on foot off the roadways as the led vehicles were struck, and watched from the dunes as only the vehicles were destroyed. Internationalist/Globalist American Media...and the 5th Column Dems...have a pattern of "Snatching defeat from the Jaws of Victory" and calling any win a Loss.

First, this article though written by Breitbart, is sourced from Axios. Axios is hardly a reliable and honest source for anything Trump or Republican.
Second, as would be expected from Axios, it is trying to push that there is serious dissent in the Trump Administration regarding Iran. Instead, what I read is that Trump is being advised by people who are telling him the good and the bad regarding any attack on Iran, something that is required in order for Trump to make an informed decision. Gen Cain is doing his job in telling the negative and possible shortfalls of what could happen, but of course Axios is presenting it as dissent.
Third, this kinda puts a lie to the MSM talking point that Trump is surrounded by yes men afraid to tell him like it is.
Don't fall for this Axios BS.

SO Gen. Caine, The only way your concern comes true is if WE don't take out ALL the Mullah's, their Thugs and all of the IGRC, on top of all their weapons, planes/boats etc. So let's do it right the first time, OK, we don't need a forever war, kill ALL OF THEM, GOT IT?
