As NASA eases its Artemis II rocket back to the hangar for repairs this week – the second launchpad delay this month – it raises the question of whether this government agency should be in the manned spaceflight business at all anymore. To say that the Artemis program – which has so far cost taxpayers more than $93 billion – has been plagued with problems is an understatement. It has been a case study in bureaucratic bumbling, one made more obvious when compared with the rapid advances achieved by private space companies such as SpaceX. Here’s a brief timeline.

OK, it just seemed that way. But the made-for-TV award-aganza – incredibly including, twice, America’s top military honor – was just one feature of perhaps the most spectacular event of its kind ever.
“Spectacular” in the word’s original sense, “of the nature of a spectacle or show.” As in:
The bombastic beginning: “Our nation is back. Bigger, better, richer, and stronger than ever before.”

That includes the I&I/TIPP Poll. Believe it or not, many voters are already deciding whom they will support.
The latest national online I&I/TIPP Poll asked registered voters of both major parties and independents two questions about their preferences.
The poll, which was taken by 1,126 registered voters from Jan. 27 to Jan. 29, has an overall margin of error of +/-3.1 percentage points.

President Donald Trump’s 2026 State of the Union speech gave every American a front-row seat to see exactly who Democrats are — and more importantly, what they refuse to stand for.
According to reports, more than 70 Democrats chose not to attend the speech, but most did, and several times over the course of the evening, they made a choice. They sat. They scowled. They heckled. While Republicans rose time and again in applause, the left side of the chamber looked like a group of children being punished.
And Trump noticed.
He called them out — repeatedly — for refusing to show even the most basic bipartisan enthusiasm for moments
President Trump's State of the Union speech Tuesday night got extra heated when he relentlessly called out Democrats for supporting sanctuary city policies and refusing to stand for the American people over criminal illegal aliens.
Literally, refusing to stand.
The President challenged Democrats to affirm their support for the American people over illegal immigrants. And they just couldn't do it.

Well, we knew the Democrat antics ahead of and during Tuesday night's State of the Union address from President Donald Trump would not disappoint, and it surely hasn't so far, with Democrat Rep. Al Green (TX-09) keeping up his tradition of getting kicked out of Trump presidential addresses by being deported out of this one, too.
Green was seen during the early portion of Trump's speech holding up a "Black people aren't apes" sign. He was ejected soon after:

He luxuriated in the moment as the Democrats sat there, stone-faced, thinking it would play well at MS-Now. It probably will. Trump wanted all of America to see it and remember it. He set a trap. They walked right into it.
“You should be ashamed,” he said.
