The Jan. 7 shooting death of Renee Good has become a political Rorschach test. A Quinnipiac poll released on Tuesday finds that a majority of American voters, 53%, believe ICE agent Jonathan Ross, who shot Good on a Minneapolis street last Wednesday, was not justified in doing so. Thirty-five percent believe the shooting was justified, while 12% have no opinion. But the poll results vary widely when the respondents’ political affiliations are examined. Republicans were doubtful but the Dem cohort overwhelming agreed - and 16 people were condemned and executed - during the mass formation psychosis episode we remember as "The Salem Witch Trials". What's old comes new again.

Dunphy, who writes, "I’ve been a police officer for more than 40 years," responds cogently to criticisms from the left about the shooting of the irritating woman in the Honda Pilot, who accelerated toward the officer. Nice essay. I'm in agreement with everything in it. One other thing: Look at Dunphy's picture in PJ Media's author lineup. Does that face remind you of a famous actor? Just the facts, ma'am. Wouldn't you say that Dunphy is Jack Webb's doppelgänger?

Again, Quinnipiac polling is total crap, as is most any poll coming out of any university. As soon as I see it's a Quinnipiac poll, I immediately move on, full knowing that what would follow will be manipulated statistical lies designed solely to push the DNC talking points of the day. You should do the same.

Leftist propaganda like that quoted "Litman" hit piece are read by credulous people, and they scream "murder"....when in reality it was fully justified. And, I will say again, it can be at the same time fully justified and a real tragedy that she is dead. Whether she intended to run over the officer to harm him, or just was exceptionally stupid in her reactions to the order to get out of the car....we can never know. Ulitmately, what SHE did precipitated the whole thing. ALL on her, 100%. As her relative said "She should have minded her own business".

A majority of people found the shooting unjustifiable. We are seeing George Floyd, Version 2.0. People never learn. Democrats will milk this to the next Presidential election. It might work too. Money line: I do not, however, share Litman’s opinion that the FBI and other federal agencies should cooperate with a Minnesota state investigation. There is no reason to believe Jonathan Ross would be treated any more fairly than was Derek Chauvin, whose trial was a farce and whose continued imprisonment is a stain on Minnesota’s entire justice system.

This is very simple. You purposely inserted yourself into a Law Enforcement issue. You did not follow instructions by Law Enforcement to "get out of the car". You laughed and taunted the Law Enforcement personnel at the scene. YOU backed up your vehicle, then YOU hit the gas pedal using your vehicle as a weapon in that instance. Imagine, if one of those "citizen watchers" jumped in front of your vehicle and you slammed on the gas pedal, hitting that person, what would happen to YOU? Yes, she recklessly left the scene. All she had to do was exit her vehicle and she would still be alive. All she had to do was not punch the gas pedal in her attempt to flee Law Enforcement.

FTA: When Ross unholstered his weapon, there was still no perceivable threat to him, and he fired “simultaneous with Good putting the car into gear and driving off to the left, the direction of traffic.” (Litman misspoke here. Good drove off to the right.) ******* Litman must havw been watching a video without sound. He missed Good and wife taunting Ross and the other offcer. And he cdledarly missed the wife's yelling "DRIVE!" whern Ross was in front of the vehicle. Litman is no expert when it omes to trhis case and the use of the word "saunters" is far from objective. Good morning. (Snip) First, the premise: You are not going to have a country for long when you’re actively protecting the people who are invading it and destroying it. There are only two possible answers as to why those invaders and destroyers are being protected. Either their protectors are lacking the brainpower required to come to that conclusion, or else they do understand, and destroying the country is their goal. There is one other option that is more sinister, however, and we'll get to that shortly. Just so we understand which of the first two is which, let’s consider a couple quotes: Trump: We will walk peacefully and patriotically

A billionaire's yacht was renamed after the media mogul didn't realize that the ship's title, spelled backwards, was a vulgar antisemitic phrase. Larry Ellison, once the world's richest person and the co-founder of the media and entertainment conglomerate, Oracle, renamed his German-built yacht the Izanami, which, spelt backwards, reads: 'I'm a nazi'. The 81-year-old chose to name the enormous, 191-foot vessel after a Shinto deity in Japanese mythology, the goddess of creation and death, seemingly without realizing the phrase it spelled in reverse. Ellison, whose family has strong ties to Israel, became aware of the vile phrase and renamed the yacht, according to Futurism. The yacht owner has repeatedly shown his support for Israel,

Shakespeare warned, “Ingratitude is monstrous; and for the multitude to be ingrateful, were to make a monster of the multitude.” In the case of TPS, “multitude” is correct. As of January 2025, approximately 1.4 million foreign nationals in the United States were shielded from removal under the program. The Trump administration decided to terminate TPS for several countries, with Somalia as the most recent. That choice is the right step in a long-overdue course correction for an immigration program that previous administrations exploited far past its statutory purpose. Somalia was first designated for TPS in 1991
