Good morning. (Snip) First, the premise: You are not going to have a country for long when you’re actively protecting the people who are invading it and destroying it. There are only two possible answers as to why those invaders and destroyers are being protected. Either their protectors are lacking the brainpower required to come to that conclusion, or else they do understand, and destroying the country is their goal. There is one other option that is more sinister, however, and we'll get to that shortly. Just so we understand which of the first two is which, let’s consider a couple quotes: Trump: We will walk peacefully and patriotically

Comments:

Elmer Fraud is try to stay out of prison. Anything, even war, to prevent that. He doesn't care.

When it comes right down to it, dems (and too many Republicans) are in politics for what THEY can get out of it. Dems support their idiotic agenda because the people pushing that agenda are willing to pay them back with political support and cash. THAT is why so many people in Congress are in office so long. It's a great gig and the longer you are there the more you can make. This is why when we ask, "How can these people be this stupid?", the answer is, they, mostly, are not. It's worth their effort to get support for their continued time in office. It also explains why they can pivot so fast. If an idea proves to be a dud, no one is willing to support it, so everyone quickly goes chasing the next thing that they think they might get away with. Consider that Tim was trying to become VP. If he had succeeded, all his Minnesota problems would have been buried. A lot of Biden's problems were buried when he became BO's VP. If Biden's brain hadn't turned into tapioca, he would probably have gotten away with things that are now haunting him. Unfortunately for him, electing an obvious cabbage head was a bridge too far, although if it were up to the media, it would have been OK. And unfortunately for Kamalalala, her word salad thinking was too close to Biden's vegetative state for comfort and she got no "Joy". What we a seeing is the cascading and catastrophic breakdown of all the dems schemes and all their support structures at once. Trump is helping this along through expelling Deep Staters, cutting grifting pathways the dems have used for a long time, and humiliating the media clowns. This is serious stuff and the Left is desperate. The most evil of them, like Tim will do just about anything. I suspect they are going to be in deep doo doo soon but it will not be a smooth process.

FTA - "He’s trying to get out in front of the proverbial lynch mob, and pretending it’s a parade he’s leading, riding a white horse. The move, if left unchallenged, will undoubtedly kill more of his constituents. Walz doesn’t care, so long as it serves to muddy the legal waters enough to keep him as governor and out of jail." Now you know about the real Putz, Kamalie's vice presidential candidate. Without the msm giving him cover, he would have resigned already and would have been booked with rather serious felony charges. Wonder who is advising him.

Gov. Timpon just mobilized the MN National Guard. It's not clear if he wants them to cook his dinner (he has compared National Guardsmen to short order cooks), or do battle with ICE. In any case, he wants to be a 5-star general of the Democrat party.

The Jan. 7 shooting death of Renee Good has become a political Rorschach test. A Quinnipiac poll released on Tuesday finds that a majority of American voters, 53%, believe ICE agent Jonathan Ross, who shot Good on a Minneapolis street last Wednesday, was not justified in doing so. Thirty-five percent believe the shooting was justified, while 12% have no opinion. But the poll results vary widely when the respondents’ political affiliations are examined. Seventy-seven percent of Republicans believe the shooting was justified, while 28% of independents and only four percent of Democrats hold the same opinion. These poll results are unsurprising. As news of the shooting broke,

Dylan Mulvaney, a "transgender influencer" most famous for sparking the massive 2023 Bud Light boycott that tanked sales and alienated millions of customers, is now set to make his Broadway debut as Anne Boleyn in the hit feminist musical "SIX." This is a good reminder that this kind of woke mind virus, widely rejected in the previous national election cycle, is still making the rounds in various corners of the entertainment world. I mean, seriously. Not only will Mulvaney be taking a significant role in a musical about women in history, but he will be taking that role away from an actual woman. This is progress for women ... or something.

But “The Crazy” marches on, both on the streets and in Supreme Court case arguments, where liberal justices continue to not disappoint, providing endless comic entertainment. A billionaire's yacht was renamed after the media mogul didn't realize that the ship's title, spelled backwards, was a vulgar antisemitic phrase. Larry Ellison, once the world's richest person and the co-founder of the media and entertainment conglomerate, Oracle, renamed his German-built yacht the Izanami, which, spelt backwards, reads: 'I'm a nazi'. The 81-year-old chose to name the enormous, 191-foot vessel after a Shinto deity in Japanese mythology, the goddess of creation and death, seemingly without realizing the phrase it spelled in reverse. Ellison, whose family has strong ties to Israel, became aware of the vile phrase and renamed the yacht, according to Futurism. The yacht owner has repeatedly shown his support for Israel,

I reported about the big warning that Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche had given Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a couple of days ago, that they were treading on thin ice with how they had been inciting anti-ICE action. (X) ICE operates in thousands of counties without incident. Men and women doing their jobs, protecting us from criminal aliens. Minnesota insurrection is a direct result of a FAILED governor and a TERRIBLE mayor encouraging violence against law enforcement. It is the question that is naturally raised by the resistance of Minnesota’s state and local authorities to federal law enforcement. In the X post below Starbuck responds to the Leninist question: • Invoke the insurrection act • Military arrests rioters and politicians • ICE triples presence and deports maximum # of illegals while DHS denaturalizes anyone who committed immigration fraud and deports them too • Not one apology from the right for anything This must be put down so thoroughly that the far left extremists can’t effectively recruit people in other left wing cities to replicate the chaos and

Here in California, billionaires are under attack as the Democrats are pushing a referendum that would levy a 5 percent wealth tax on unrealized gains and other assets of these very rich people in the Golden State. In Washington, DC, Donald Trump is telling big financial corporations that he’s going to limit their credit card interest rates to just 10 percent instead of the 20 percent or 30 percent they’ve been charging their customers. On the one hand, these are terrible economic policies. They are the opposite of classical conservatism. It’s ridiculous to tax unrealized gains

What is it about failed governors that convinces Democrats they should lead the nation? Mark Halperin released his January installment of his “8 for ’28” Democratic nomination rankings, and California Gov. Gavin Newsom remains at the top of the list. Remarkably, another failed governor — Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker — made the biggest jump in the rankings and now sits at No. 4. The third member of that trifecta of America’s worst governors, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, almost became vice president, which would have made him a heartbeat away from the presidency. With Newsom still at No. 1 for 2028, it’s instructive to look at what other lists he tops.

Videos of Weaver's past statements have gone viral on social media since Mamdani chose the 37-year-old to lead the city's Office to Protect Tenants. "We decided that fighting for rent control was a strategic and critical first step in the fight for full social housing," she said in a newly surfaced clip. “So, a lot of times people ask, ‘Why are we fighting for rent control when we have NYCHA?

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz have been digging themselves a big hole that they may not be able to get out of with their encouragement of anti-ICE action. They now have President Donald Trump talking about the Insurrection Act, and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche warning the two of them that he's going to hold them accountable for their actions as the anti-ICE violence in Minnesota gets worse. Everything's coming together for mining in Alaska. If you've been reading my work for any length of time, you'll be aware of how much I love Alaska. I am in the habit of describing the Great Land with four words: Vast, clean, wild, and free. But Alaska is also loaded with resources, and what's more, Alaska is big enough that we can have our cake and eat it, too; the amount of land taken up by mining and oil/gas development is tiny set against the vastness of this great state. And now, in part due to the Trump administration's push to open up this treasure chest, mining is poised to make a

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Federal officers in the Minneapolis-area participating in its largest recent U.S. immigration enforcement operation can’t detain or tear gas peaceful protesters who aren’t obstructing authorities, including when these people are observing the agents, a judge in Minnesota ruled Friday. U.S. District Judge Kate Menendez’s ruling addresses a case filed in December on behalf of six Minnesota activists. The six are among the thousands who have been observing the activities of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol officers enforcing the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area since last month. Federal agents and demonstrators have repeatedly clashed since the crackdown began.

While I was writing that article, some rumors were circulating about a big gesture she made, but I couldn't confirm them at the time. Now I can. The Venezuelan opposition leader, on behalf of her people, gave the president her Nobel Peace Prize. Not a replica. The real thing. Since the meeting was purposely kept private, I wasn't sure that a photo would surface, but one got out, and as of late Thursday night, both the White House and Machado have shared it on social media.
