San Francisco plunged into darkness when nearly 30 percent of the city was struck by a power outage, which brought vital transportation, such as self-driving cars, to a grinding halt on Saturday night.
Over 130,000 houses and businesses were left in the dark, largely in the northwest part of San Francisco,[snip]
The company shut down its operation at around 8 p.m. because the cars were unable to operate without traffic signals. Residents shared footage of the Waymo vehicles parked with their hazards flashing

And the (electrical vehicle) hits just keep on coming.
Just a day after car manufacturing giant Ford Motors announced that it was eating a sizable $19.5 billion bullet for putting too many of its eggs into the EV basket, a WIVB-TV report is pouring even more cold water on the left’s EV craze.
As New York shifts to meet a new statewide mandate requiring all purchased school buses to be electric, parents have already identified a significant issue — especially in the rather chilly Empire State.
According to WIVB, parents “in the Lake Shore Central School District are speaking out, claiming some bus drivers are turning the heat down, or off completely,

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy’s pregnant daughter had a bad travel experience Thursday morning, and she’s letting everyone know about it on social media by blasting the TSA and their “rude,” handsy ways. In her tweets, she described the frustration that so many of us feel when we are forced to go through the annoying, often dehumanizing ritual of emptying our bags, taking off our shoes, or possibly even being pulled over for a pat-down.[snip]
Yes, I bet all of us have had the experience of rude, power-drunk agents barking orders at you and treating you as if you’ve somehow committed a crime.

In recent years, the Democrat party has steadily shifted left, embracing ideas once considered fringe, including open borders, transgenderism, and the Green New Deal.
In abandoning the political center to Trump and his MAGA base, Democrats effectively cost themselves the House in 2022 — and the presidency and Senate in 2024.
[snip]
That Democrat party no longer exists. Rather than recalibrating in anticipation of the looming 2026 midterms and 2028 presidential race, today’s Democrats have accelerated their embrace of far-left ideology, blending with socialist movements — particularly the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

When it comes to hit jobs, the 10,000-word Vanity Fair spread on Susie Wiles is a classic of the genre.
Chris Whipple, a veteran journalist, producer and author with a career spanning the constellation of left-wing media — CBS’s “60 Minutes,” ABC, MSNBC, CNN, NPR, Politico, The Daily Beast, The New York Times, The Washington Post — has craftily framed the president’s chief of staff in a narrative of typical Trump-derangement fantasies.
The wonder is that she let him do it.
And there’s no doubt she did.
Washington journalism veteran Mark Halperin on his 2WAY podcast says Wiles may have thought the 11 interviews Whipple said she did this year were off the record.

The Chinese national charged in a deadly tour bus wreck on a Tennessee highway had entered the US illegally — but was still issued a driver’s license by New York state, The Post has learned.
Huang Yisong, 54, crossed the US-Mexico border in 2023 and was released under Biden administration policies, eventually ending up in Brooklyn and snagging a commercial driver’s license from the state, federal homeland security and transportation officials said.
“Far too many innocent Americans have been killed by illegal aliens driving semi-trucks and big
rigs,” Homeland Security Secretary Kirsti Noem said in a statement to The Post.

Do you know what a “neopronoun” or a “xeopronoun” is?
The teachers’ unions want to make sure your little kids do.
Earlier this month, the National Education Association held an “Advancing LGBTQ+ Justice” event.
Documents obtained by the education watchdog group Defending Education (full disclosure: I am on the group’s board) contained slides illustrating these neo- and xeopronouns.
Neopronouns are “new” “pronouns” such as “xe/xem/xyr,” and other letters randomly shoved together. Xeopronouns are for “conceptual identities” such as “cat/cats/catself.”
Got it?
No?
But our kids are being force-fed this garbage in America’s public schools.

Abdul El-Sayed, a candidate in the 2026 Michigan Democratic primary for the state’s open Senate seat, campaigned in 2018 to commute all sentences for juveniles sentenced to life in prison in the state—a policy that would grant early release for a school shooter, a child rapist and murderer, and other heinous killers.
El-Sayed promised the reforms during his unsuccessful bid for Michigan governor, saying he would "commute all sentences for juveniles sentenced to life in prison and raise the age of adult prosecution" from 17 to 18, as well as "explore commutation options" for any juvenile sentenced to more than 25 years

Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., called those concerned about whether she married her brother “sick” after the far-left lawmaker was approached by Fox News Digital about border czar Tom Homan, signaling that federal officials have started digging into records pertaining to the matter.
Homan said last week that records and files related to Omar’s potential immigration fraud were being pulled and looked at after President Donald Trump revived the years-old scandal amid an ongoing debate over the Somali Medicaid fraud scandal taking place in Omar’s state of Minnesota.
While Homan suggested that fraud likely took place, he also signaled that the crime’s statute of limitations could present a problem when it comes

The Bondi Beach attack in Australia was shocking, but not at all surprising.
Some of the details were distinctive — an idyllic spot on the Pacific Ocean instantly turned into a killing field; a father-son terror squad — but the basic picture of radicalized Muslim immigrants targeting a gathering of Jews was drearily familiar.
These events follow the same pattern because the fundamentalist version of Islam is, at its root, hostile to Jews.
Let’s say, for the sake of argument, that there was a refugee flow of Unitarians, and some proportion of those Unitarians were antagonistic to traditional Christians — such that they vandalized their businesses, harassed them in the streets,

Federal investigators believed there was significant evidence worth pursuing related to possible criminality involving the Clinton Foundation and the State Department’s approval of the sale of Uranium One to Russian state-owned interests, but delays by the Justice Department and FBI led the inquiry to whither and die because of statute of limitations issues.
The sale of the Canada-based Uranium One to the Russian state-owned Rosatom was the focus of great controversy and scrutiny from Republicans and others who argued that then-Secretary of State Clinton helped approve the deal and that the Clinton Foundation may have stood to benefit from it.

Well, if you caught that snippet from last night’s shambolic presser about the Brown University shooting, you’ll know that the authorities are still not answering what the shooter allegedly said before the attack. There are too many witnesses saying the same thing, so next time this circus comes before the podium, they'd better have an answer. It’s been making the rounds on social media, but witnesses claim the shooter yelled, ‘Allahu Akbar’ before opening fire. Two people were killed in the attack, and another eight were wounded. Ella Cook, 19, and Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov, 18, have been identified as the decedents
