More than a dozen files tied to notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein mysteriously vanished from the Justice Department’s website just one day after the agency released the massive, long-awaited trove of documents and photos to the public, according to reports.
At least 16 files — among thousands available Friday — were taken down with no explanation from the government, leading to criticism from Democrats on Capitol Hill.
The missing docs included images of nude female paintings — and according to the Dems, a picture of a desk that had numerous framed photos on it and some photos piled in an open drawer.

We should declare the Democrat party a terrorist organization once and for all.
Enough already.

Its not just the dems. The cover up is coming from all of them. It should be obvious to even the most partisan political hack that they have been hiding something all along and continue to.

Bill Clinton and Barack Obama must still have some influence remaining inside the beltway. I pity the fool who did this sabotage.

For the aforementioned perverts, you have Monica's blue dress and the crowd at the Chicago bath houses as proof. Just enjoy the other 30,000 files until the missing 16 are put back up.

Federal contractors must jump through a hundred flaming hoops merely to qualify to even bid. One of the most demanding requirements is certification of data security including access/permissions and system stability ie redundancy, backups, disaster recovery etc.
It's sad, hilarious and preposterous that federal agencies regularly and predictably lose (or claim to lose) data. It always happens when they are feeling the heat or when the content will certainly embarrass or incriminate them.
The final irony is that these agencies are often using the aforementioned federal contractors. Which means the contractors are risking their lucrative contracts by being careless (very very unlikely) or they have been ordered to make a 'mistake.'

I wager that the mysterious missing files -IF there ARE missing files- have photos of prominent Democ'RATS. If there were photos of Trump or someone associated with him, the Lamestreams -who likely immediately and eagerly copied the entire release and picked through, looking for something 'juicy'- would have put them on the front pages of the NYSlymes, the WaPooPoo, NPR, and AssPress. ABC (the AllBarackChannel) would have broken into their regular programming with the 'BOMBSHELL REPORT'.... it would have been eagerly and relentlessly shoved in our faces from every possible direction by now.
But if it was a 'Rat who is still in a powerful position (the HornDog is a has-been and doesn't count), the Lamestreams know about it, and are covering the photos.... with a pillow..... until the story stops moving.
What's that sound?....... crickets going chirp..... chirp,,,,,, chirp.

Can we rest assured that Epstein did not release these "oh so important files" from the website? Doesn't the "Just Us" Department know that anything ever erased from the internet is available somewhere else in time or space? As usual, our "Nanny-government" thinks we are all stupid and helpless. Just put an ad in the paper and the files will come home. /s

To build on #9, perhaps this is an attempt to highlight the "missing " files.
They are out there.

It’s already been said many times and it’s true. If there was anything in these files even hinting at a connection between Trump and Epstein they would have been released when Democrats had the WH and Congress. A number of people at the DOJ could have accessed this web site, especially in IT. It won’t be a rocket science to figure out who removed these images in order to start a new scandal, or at least who they were logged in as. The Democrats have come up empty handed and they’re desperate.

No disrespect to his victims but I am sick of this whole Epstein file mess. First, AG Bondi shooting out way over her skis on releasing eveything, etc ad nauseum.

They should be able to recover those from routine system backups.

There is likely a very simple explanation for these "missing files." If yesterday was a weekday this story would already have been swatted down but since it was a Saturday the damage will have been done by the time it is addressed on Monday. The Trump Administration needs at least a "corporal's guard" in their media shop when nonsense stories like this pop up on weekends. The regime media are particularly fond of striking on long weekends and we have two holiday weekends ln a row coming up.

It's either Democrat sabotage or Republican ineptness. Which is it?

Since it's being glossed over in these comments, I'll quote from the article: "The missing docs included images of nude female paintings — and according to the Dems, a picture of a desk that had numerous framed photos on it and some photos piled in an open drawer." The only images *known* to have been removed - not just claimed by the Democrats - are images of nude female paintings. It's a fair bet that, being from Epstein, the paintings were far more pornographic than artful, and were taken down to avoid getting a Facebook warning... The better approach would have been to mask the offensive parts of the paintings, but leave them posted.

Now that a select tranche of files has been publicized as "missing", AG Bondi should be able to tell us _tomorrow_ that their backups will make another appearance.
And if she won't/can't, Trump needs to fire her on the spot and juggle with whatever the RINO infested Senate will "consent" to.
