Socialism Is Always Evil and Hideous—Never ‘Gorgeous’

Hollywood imbecile Amanda Seyfried thinks that “socialism is a gorgeous idea.” While on a media tour promoting her latest movie, “The Testament of Ann Lee,” Seyfried told Variety that most people don’t “understand what the word [socialism] actually means.” “For me, it’s taking care of each other. If I have more money, I can spend more money on other people,” Seyfried said in defense of socialism. Sadly, Seyfried is a moron who knows nearly nothing about the hideous history of socialism. Moreover, her assertion that socialism is beneficial to society and results in people taking care of each other is absurd. Every time socialism has been implemented, it has led to mass poverty,

The stupidity of these people is astounding. You idiot, under socialism, you wouldn't have anything to give because it would be taken from you. Also, if giving to the needy is so important, why don't you just do it NOW?

The key words in her statement are “for me…” It’s sort of like the phrase se “my truth”. That’s how you know they’re lying. Amnda Seyfried is a moron.

It always starts as a gorgeous idea about fairness and opportunity. It only gets dicey later once the failure is obvious and the guys with guns show up to help the people who won't get with the program think correctly.

The ‘beneficiaries’ soon realize it’s not temporary, it’s permanent and they never have to work again. And then the victims realize they are fools, they too stop working or work less hard. You have two choices, you can be a sucker or a blood sucker.

The White House Rapid Response account has posted the clip below from Minnesota Fifth District Rep. Ilhan Omar’s interview with her fan Esme Murphy on CBS Minnesota yesterday. Murphy began this hard-hitting interview with her characteristic fangirl approach to Democrats, striking her usual tone with her first question: “I do want to ask first of all, how are you and what is it like being the focus of a president’s ire repeatedly over and over again?” Hey, Esme, skip to the easy questions! She takes Chris Farley’s tack with Paul McCartney: “How can you be so great?” However, Farley was engaged in comedy. In the clip, Omar addresses the facts

Where are all these mysterious "right-wing extremists" the left loves to yap about? This talking point seems to come out every time there's a terrorist attack or mass murder event, and the perp, when identified, is never a "right-wing extremist." Case in point: The jihadi attackers in the infamous Bondi Beach attack; their motivation isn't hard to work out, but in a statement about that event, Australia's Labor Party Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had to trot out that old bugaboo. (Snip) Now, I'm willing to concede that the prime minister may have simply been reacting to a comment from someone else, but this happens so often

A recent Washington Post article about a trans comedian starts out with the following passage,As far as questions go, this is an easy one. What have you done before?’ the judge asks Jamie Mack. (Snip) I got that far into it when I had to ask myself what just happened. Then, I realized that the author had just mobilized the English language to confound me. As a good liberal and Washington Post reporter, he was doing what is expected of him. Modern leftist etiquette dictates that we should all mangle the English language to comply with the needs of a transvestite; he was now called a “they.” The story that the author recounts is typical. It is one of a closeted q**** having dalliances with other closeted
Norway Avoids ‘Green’ Energy Quicksand 4 replies

While the rest of Europe shivers under the self-imposed austerity of net zero mandates, Norway in the frozen north is keeping the lights on and the bank vaults full as it avoids the “green” ideological quicksand that has defined the continent’s energy policy. Despite pressures to decarbonize, Norway has increased efforts to exploit oil and natural gas reserves. The crown jewel of this fossil fuel renaissance is the Johan Castberg field. Located in the Barents Sea, 100 kilometers north of the 20-year-old Snøhvit natural gas field, Johan Castberg is expected to be a beast of a producer—450 million–650 million barrels over 30 years, with a peak daily capacity of 220,000 barrels.

Long-time readers may remember that I used to cover the main international beauty pageants, Miss Universe and Miss World. Why? Two reasons: I generally admired the young women who competed in them, and it seemed like almost every time, an interesting news story would emerge from the pageant. Plus, it was fun to post photos of contestants and identify favorites. So why did I stop? To paraphrase Ronald Reagan, I didn’t leave the pageants, the pageants left me. They became politically correct; they downgraded the swimsuit competition or abandoned it completely; and, worst of all, they started producing terrible web sites with zero content that would make it possible to write

Among the first things I taught my new students at the beginning of every new school year was the difference between deference and respect. One defers to others because of their position of authority, regardless of whether they are honest, honorable, decent and capable. Respect, however, must be earned every day. We defer to others because of their positions and to a lesser degree, their accomplishments. We respect others because of who they are, because they’ve proved themselves worthy of our respect regardless of their positions of authority. In the military, you defer to rank, but you respect those who don’t trade on it, or who fling their accomplishments

For years, politicians managed to hide the damage caused by the green transformation. Now, deep cracks are appearing in municipal finances amid the severe economic crisis gripping the country. Cities like Stuttgart serve as showcases for the future of the republic. For a long time, Stuttgart’s city treasurer was more than just a steward of solid numbers. He was regarded as the uncrowned king of fiscal policy in the region -- and held a position envied by many colleagues. The robust foundation of the automotive industry and its extensive supplier network funneled generous tax revenues into the city’s coffers for years, particularly from trade taxes.

There are so many lies and liars, it’s hard to know where to begin, but here are my takes on this week’s unveiling of them. Let’s begin with science. When Joe Biden announced his presidential library plans back in September, the writing was already on the wall. Donors were checked out, interest was nonexistent, and the whole thing smelled like a vanity project nobody wanted to fund. Now, a New York Times article confirms what was painfully obvious from the start — Biden's library is turning into an epic fundraising disaster. The numbers are embarrassing. According to the report, Biden's library foundation received no new donations in 2024, the final year of his presidency. All of its initial funding — a measly $4 million — came from leftover cash from Biden's 2021 inauguration, not from donors eager to immortalize his

What is it with Democrat politicians? Lies are arguably the currency of politics, and politicians of every party engage in them from time to time, but there are some politicians who truly excel in fabulation, and just as the dead almost universally vote Democrat, the most prolific liars are arguably on the Democrat side of the political divide. During the 2024 presidential race, Americans discovered that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was a serial fabulist as lie after lie was relentlessly exposed, so many even the Democrat Party media propaganda arm was forced to report them. Walz’s few attempts at damage control were disasters, eventually leading to his “I’m a knucklehead” admission

This is not just another technical fight over discovery rules. This is a rogue judge stepping in to shield one of the left’s favorite anti-Trump heroes from accountability. James Comey was charged with lying to Congress and obstructing its investigation into the Russiagate hoax. Central to the case are his messages with Daniel Richman, a Columbia Law professor and former government contractor, who acted as a conduit for information about Trump.

And many of the weapons that are used in our states for gun crimes come to our states from those states that have an ability for criminals and people with serious mental illness to buy weapons.

The lawsuit took aim at a 2024 documentary by the BBC, which spliced different sections of Trump’s comments before his supporters ransacked the Capitol to make it appear as though he explicitly encouraged the riot. “I’m suing the BBC for putting words in my mouth, literally,” Trump grumbled to reporters earlier in the day, Monday. “They actually put terrible words in my mouth having to do with January 6th that I didn’t say.”

If a single person from the Biden administration deserves sustained scrutiny, Alejandro Mayorkas sits at the top of the list. As Secretary of Homeland Security, he presided over the most chaotic period at the southern border in modern American history. It's not even close. There were record crossings, overwhelmed cities, and steeply climbing fentanyl deaths, thriving cartels, all with governors begging for help. Yet as the Trump administration continues to settle back in power, Mayorkas has barely been mentioned: When was the last time you heard his name mentioned? Silence follows a man whose fingerprints are all over a still-broken — but rapidly repairing — system.
