All those Tesla cameras need to go. Not only do they chill freedom of expression, they specifically target left wing vandals so the cameras' politics are therefore a hate crime. Sue Tesla into nonexistence and get rich in the process.

Cameras in public places are creepy and a control mechanism of tyrants. The people who rationalize them are the same ones who dont care if the government searches them because they have nothing to hide. I dont need liberty. The government will take care of me.

Correction #9, it is GOVERNMENT-OWNED AND OPERATED cameras in public places that we need to fear not PRIVATELY-OWNED AND OPERATED cameras--such a RING cameras and dash cams--that can provide evidence of wrong-doing and that law enforcement can get a WARRANT for, assuming they can articulate reasonable suspicion of a crime.

If true, this is nauseating. I hope Trump goes after each and every one of those universities that turned off their cameras and thus refuse to protect their students. I expect Harmeet Dhillon will go after Brown for civil rights violations of the deceased students and also those wounded. I PRAY that all affected and Dhillion will sue Brown into oblivion. A $9 billion endowment is not chicken feed, but a few billion dollar lawsuits will surely make a dent. Sue these basturds out of existence.

Using an assortment of loaded words and phrases, dozens of groups signed off on a letter demanding cameras be shut down to "protect" free speech. The real purpose of the letter was to ensure videos of ACTUAL threatening behavior aimed at Jewish students would never be recorded in the first place. And by the way the bumbling "community" and school officials are behaving, it appears to have worked.

The rival reason these far left organizations want CCTV security cameras disable is to make it harder, if not impossible, to identify who is trashing the campuses or involved in other illegal activities. If Brown University disabled cameras, they enabled the shooter to get away with murder. Wednesday was five days after the shooting and murders, and the RI and campus has not interview the survivors that were in the room. And, still have not asked the FBI for help in solving this terror attack. Those giving the briefings show an astounding level of incompetence.

Leaving the cameras in place and non-functional/disabled will be what sinks Brown. Leaving the cameras up gives the students a false sense of security. If your going to disable them, you need to remove them. Brown is about to lose a whole lot of money. And probably students.

That's the worst number Quinnipiac has recorded since they started asking the question back in 2009. Even CNN's chief data analyst, Harry Enten, couldn't hide his shock, declaring that "Democrats, in the minds of the American public, are lower than the Dead Sea." The real kicker? Democrats are turning on their own party. Only 42% of Democratic voters approve of how their representatives in Congress are performing, while 48% disapprove.
